It's certainly the case in law that a person against whom charges have been laid must be considered innocent until proven guilty. And I fully support all of the reasons for that being so.

However, there's a very good argument for disallowing that principle with regard to members of the US Democrat party and that would be the principle of 'What's Sauce for the Goose is Also Sauce for the Gander' and it is indeed the case that Democrats have been pressing very hard for that precious principle of law to be ignored in the case of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

UP UNTIL NOW no charges have been laid against either the Clintons or Obama - and that's perfectly understandable. Those cases, when the charges are eventually laid, will necessarily have to be the most in-depth and powerfully supported of any crime case in US history.

Considering that 'The Swamp Dwellers' MUST absolutely protect one another out of fear that any exposure of another will lead to exposure of their own wrong doing it's easy to understand why the FBI, DoJ (and a good number of other agencies) are working against the President.

However- there may be good news for decent people in the USA ... the Perkins Coei law firm is beginning to unravel and it's a fair supposition that the masters of plea deals will be looking to protect their own asses above any and all of their clients !

You hit the nail square on the head Track ... but it seems the Western Government attitude is that there's 'no money' to be made from happy people ... so, ya have to keep em unhappy, sad, depressed, willing to pay any price for a brief and temporary escape from the crap that their lives have become as the result of their own government regarding them as 'Unit's of Taxable Dollar Production' instead of valued friends and fellow citizens !

Not on a date and not a 'laxative' exactly ...

However, I did forget that licorice can have that effect and I ate a bag of same through course of the day while binge watching the World Rally Championship one Saturday over the winter.

Went out for dinner in the evening with the crowd and all was well until I had a pint of Guinness .... about halfway through that ' it began ' and I was back n forth to the crapper at ten minute intervals for the rest of the evening and most of the night.

I can laugh now, at the time though ... not so much !

Just as well home was only an eight minute taxi ride ...
