Jesus Miraculously Calms a Storm

That day when evening came, he (Jesus) said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side." Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. uh oh Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. sleep The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the waves,"Quiet! Be still! Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" They were terrified and asked each other, "who is this? Even the wind and waves obey him (Mark 4:35)!"

He who created the natural world has power over it. flex Through the storms of life our faith is tested, and so the Lord reminds us... "Be still and know that I am God (Psalms 46:10)."

AS WE GROW OLDER...

As we grow older, and hence wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a $300. or $30.00 watch - - - - - - -
they both tell the same time...;

Whether we carry a $300 or $30.00 wallet/handbag - - - - - - - the amount of money inside is the same;

Whether we drink a bottle of $300 or $10 wine - - - - - - - - - - - - the hang over is the same;

Whether the house we live in is 300 or 3000 sq.ft....if you live in it on your own... loneliness is the same.

You will realize,as you grow older that true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world.

Whether you fly first or economy class, if the plane goes down - - - - - - --you go down with it...

Therefore... when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sing songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven & earth, .... That is true happiness!!

Five Undeniable Facts of Life :

1. Don't educate your children to be rich.
Educate them to be Happy.
So when they grow up they will know
the value of things not the price.

2. Best awarded words in London ...
"Eat your food as your medicines.
Otherwise you have to
eat medicines as your food."

3. The One who loves you will never leave you
because even if there are 100 reasons
to give up ... he or she will find a reason to hold on.

4. There is a big difference between
a human being and being human.
Only a few really understand it.

5. You are loved when you are born.
You will be loved when you die.
In between, You have to manage!

If you just want to Walk Fast, Walk Alone!
But if you want to Walk Far, Walk Together!

Heavenly Quotes on Heaven! Pt. 4

Embedded image from another site

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. Matthew 2:2-3 KJV

"Death is not something to be feared, but rather anticipated. Of course, we are not to precipitate it ourselves, as suicide is surrender and defeat of the worst kind. But if each of us can have the patience to wait and die in God's time, when His time has come for us, that's the day we're going to be the most thankful. We're going to arrive in our heavenly home and see that it was really worth it all!--David Berg

"The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." (1 Corinthians 15:26)--St Paul

"Death from this life is just graduation from this grade. It's our release, our graduation, our promotion. School is out! We've finished our schooling in this grade and we pass on to the next grade.--David Berg

"Even though we have so much to live for on this earth, there is even more to live for in the next life. Death does not cheat a person out of life; death enriches life.--C.L. Allen

"When Christ calls me Home I shall go with the gladness of a boy bounding away from school.--Adoniram Judson, first Christian missionary to Burma

"I am the Resurrection, and the Life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. (John 11:25,26)--Jesus

"Some day you will read in the papers that D.L. Moody, of East Northfield, is dead. Don't you believe a word of it. At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now. I shall have gone up higher, that is all; out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal, a body that death cannot touch."-- Dwight L. Moody

"Because I live, ye shall live also."--Jesus, (John 14:19)

"I shall not live 'till I see God; and when I have seen Him, I shall never die.--John Donne

"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.--2 Corinthians 5:1

"God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.--Jesus, Matthew 22:32

"Jesus said, "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed" (Matthew 13:31). Just as the seed is the beginning of growth, so this life is the beginning but not the end. We continue living the moment our spirits are released from our bodies.--C.L. Allen

Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you" (John14:2). We do not enter the next life as strangers. We are expected and prepared for. We are eagerly desired.--C.L. Allen

MAN'S BEST IS THE WORST POSSIBLE WITHOUT GOD!

God knows what He's doing! He's letting man go to the end of his rope just to show man he can't solve his own problems and he can't get along without God. Just like He did with Adam and Eve, He'll let man have his way and free will until he nearly wrecks the whole world! That's the only way He can work out His purpose and His illustrated message of the good and the bad as an everlasting example to us all!

But at the same time, He'll show how wonderful creations of His can be who are not compelled to worship Him but choose to do so voluntarily--us, His chosen people who have chosen Him. He'll bring out of that mess a people unto Himself that He can really love and show His love for! The final scene shines so bright against all that black background! And that's what we have to look forward to, the light at the end of the tunnel! Thank You, Lord! DM

Tanjungpinang-Bintan Island Part I

I bet, many blogger CS never hear this island in Indonesia. blushing blushing Many western people just now Bali and Jakarta in Indonesia.

Yes, Tanjungpinang is one part in Bintan Island. This is the capital of the newly-created province of Riau Islands in Indonesia. The city is fast growing with a population around 200,000. It is a trading, shipping, shopping and tourism "seafood" center in the region.smitten

Tanjungpinang is not to famous like Bali, because this is small island but also have a few place if you like nature. But Tanjungpinang is near with Singapore and also Malaysia wow. Sometimes my friends who stay in Jakarta visit Bintan Island to go to Malaysia.

Penyengat Island. Places to visit include the Masjid Raya - the old vice-royal mosque, which locals claim is made "from egg" (the mortar, that is, not the whole building). There are also a few more mosques and graveyards to see, some of which include royalties.

Senggarang Temples is a temple complex including Chinese and Hinduist worshipping places. This includes a 40-armed statue and several animal deities. From there, you can walk to a stilt house village, where there is also a temple that a tree has grown into. There are boats going from Tanjung Pinang piers to Senggarang frequently, haggle for price.

Sungai Ular Buddhist Temple, or Snake River Temple, is a little way up the so-called snake river (for its windings). The best (and probably only) way to get there is by boat. Go there for some gory murals depicting the Chinese version of hell.

For today just this an information I can share to youteddybear

Can you send me an angel?

Sometimes I feel
Like I don’t belong anywhere
And it’s gonna take so long
For me to get somewhere
Sometimes I feel
So heavy hearted
But I can’t explain
Cuz I’m so guarded

But that’s a lonely road to travel
And a heavy load to bare
And it’s a long, long way to heaven
But I gotta get there
Can you send an angel?
Can you send me an angel?
Guide me

(Prelude to a kiss lyrics by Alicia Keys)

She could not have said this any better!

CS Exes

Here on CS we try our chance with different people and with everyone of them things can reach a different stage, from an innocent flirt to a commitment "in reality".

How do you cope with the "baggage" of exes on here, especially on the blogs? Do you say "Hi" when you meet them or you keep silence? Do you hate them or you sincerely wish them luck?

Are you discreet about your new flirts, being afraid of some vengeful ex? Do you think over every word and flirt on the blogs so you don't make a mess with ex and current "dates"? wave

Why look at me if you have blocked me?

Why is it? It has happened so many times now that somebody from a very interesting part of the world would look at my profile a few times, and when I try to say “Hi”, I’m informed that the person won’t accept messages from my part of the world.

Ok, I understand, it is nothing personal. You simply don’t want to hear from my part of the world. Fine, it is your choice, but then why look so overtly? Why not log off and view my profile anonymously? cool Then nobody is any the wiser.

Hell, I don’t want to start a ten-thousand-miles-apart-love-affair with you – it’s not practical. I’m just a bit curious about your part of the world. Let’s exchange a few ideas and go our separate ways again. Exchanging knowledge and technology leads to progress.

Something like laugh "Pardon me Mademoiselle, but is it true that you eat frogs in your country? Why don't you try breeding sheep? So much more meat - and so versatile. Ask the people from Oz! What's that Mademoiselle? Kiss the frogs? No, no, over here they're not as pretty as in your country - and they have warts! No Mademoiselle, no princes in a democracy... only politicians!"
