WHICH RELIGION IS THE TRUE ONE?

When Joseph Smith asked God which church was the true one, the response was none of them.
The Mormon church then developed after the appearance of Moroney a messenger from space who instructed Smith to locate gold bound writings concealed in an area described to him. These writings were after translation returned, so no longer exist. They were apparently witnessed by a number of people to give them some authenticity. After a number of other appearances to Joseph Smith by other biblical characters,The Church of latter Day saints resulted.
So I'm afraid everyone else has been following the wrong church beliefs. Or are they?

The difficulty with finding someone online

Is it really that difficult? How many long-term relationships have formed due to this site? I have been here a few years now and I know of maybe 2 relationships that have formed. My friend who introduced me to this site found his wife on this site. And, Daniel. I didn't know him, he was sorta of leaving as I was getting on. But, I remember him posting a blog about becoming involved in a relationship. How many other do you know of?

How can one improve their chances?

My number one and two improvements seem to be a better profile and pictures of just me...and no females.

Maybe I should write a profile with a bunch of demands? For example, don't tell me I need a different profile. Or, shut your face about my pictures. rolling on the floor laughing tongue Okay, a little dramatic here at the end.

Just a little bored here tonight....isn't that something, as soon as I get done working for like 12 hours...the moment after I eat, I am bored. Sounds like I need a woman. :)

Good Vs. Interesting

How would you like your life to be?
Good things happening to you?
Interesting things happening to you?
What's considered...
A good life? An interesting life?
Is there a difference between the two?
Which one would you pick? And why?

There could be many definitions of...
What is considered good & interesting.
There is no right or wrong.
Everyone is uniquely different.
What I find good & interesting for myself...
Might not be so for others & vice versa.
But again maybe not.

******************************
GOOD...can't be interesting.
GOOD...is average.
INTERESTING....can be good.
INTERESTING....is different.
What catches the eye?
Its something about....
Someone or something....
That stands out among the rest.
INTERESTINGLY GOOD
******************************

But with life...what's considered average?
How do you wanna live your life?
Is having an interesting life considered bad?
Do bad things only happen....
In a good life? In an interesting life?
Life is always filled with...
Good moments & interesting moments.
Which one would you rather have?

IS C.S. DYING

over a month ago, most of the top bloggers were removed from C.S. in what must have been one of the worst blog management decisions in the history of dating sites, the blogs are the heartbeat, the pulse of any site, they reflect its health, people flocked to C.S. at weekends, it wasent unknown for 600 or 700 comments to appear on the blog postings, and parties, and laughter, were bountiful.

now the site is barely ticking over, 10, 15 , 1 or 0 comments is the norm, the sooner alf barios, venus, carob, and some others are back here, the better for everybody, including C.S. because at the end of the day, it is no victory for anybody, to see the embarrassment that the sight has become, what good are blogs, if people cannot express there views, and be themselves, we are supposed to be about being real, its time someone at C.S. got real, for everyones sake. please, before its too late.comfort

Great saying......................!

We’re taught since childhood that the universe can be fundamentally divided into two entities — ourselves, and that which is outside of us. But you’re not an object — you’re a unified being, not just your wriggling arm or foot, but part of a larger equation that includes everything you perceive. If you divorce one side of the equation from the other you cease to exist. Your consciousness isn’t just part of the equation – the equation is you.

Why Do We Exist?
What sustains us in and above the void of nothingness? The world is for us merely a bundle of sensations unified by laws which exist in our understanding. We can’t see the laws that uphold the world; and that if they be removed the Universe would collapse to nothing. We don't see how we are part of the whole, save for a space of perhaps five seconds on some glorious winter morning when all the senses are one.

Time and Death
Five Reasons You Won’t Die
A long list of scientific experiments suggests our belief in death is based on a false premise, that the world exists independent of us – the great observer. This article provides five reasons you won’t die. Your consciousness will always be in the present – balanced between the infinite past and the indefinite future – moving intermittently between realities along the edge of time.

Why You Will Always Exist
Can life really be reduced to the laws of physics? Or are we – as all the great spiritual leaders of the world have intuited – part of something higher, which is more noble and triumphant? Amazingly, if we accept a life-created reality, it all becomes simple to understand. Past, present, and future always have existed, and always will exist.

Why You’re Alive And Can Never Die
If time is an illusion, can consciousness ever truly be extinguished? The contemplation of time and the discoveries of modern science suggest that the mind is the ultimate reality, paramount and limitless. We think 70 is the last “now,” but who knows that space and time aren’t forms of intuition, and that there are other “nows” if we but knew our mind?

What Is It Like After You Die?
The mystery of life and death can’t be examined by visiting the Galapagos or looking through a microscope. At death, consciousness is gone, and so too the continuity in the connection of times and places. Where then, do we find ourselves? On stairs that, like Emerson said, that can be intercalated anywhere, “like those that Hermes won with the dice of the moon, that Osiris might be born.” We think that the past is past, the future the future. But as Einstein realized, this simply isn’t the case.

God
Do We Have a Soul?
Science doesn’t recognize the spiritual dimension of life. But our worldview is catching up with the facts, and the old paradigm is rapidly being replaced with one that can address some of the core questions asked in every religion: Is there a soul? Does anything endure the ravages of time? The problem lies in understanding the nature of the self, the “I” that feels and lives life. Whether person or animal, the findings of quantum theory suggest the content of the mind is the ultimate reality, paramount and limitless.

Is There A God Or Is There Nothingness?
Ideally, our concepts of nature and God should adapt to our evolving scientific knowledge. What happened before the Big Bang? If God made the world, then who made God? Nature has much bigger plans for us than just this or that life — plans far beyond anything religion has ever projected to any god. And perhaps, if science is clever enough to see, it will realize that religion may not be too far off with its concrete imagery; and that relative to the supreme creator, we humans are much like the microorganisms we scrutinize under the microscope.

John 20:1-9
The Empty Tomb
20 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.”

3 Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. 4 So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.

Luke 24:13-35

The Walk to Emmaus
13 Now on that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, 14 and talking with each other about all these things that had happened. 15 While they were talking and discussing, Jesus himself came near and went with them, 16 but their eyes were kept from recognizing him. 17 And he said to them, “What are you discussing with each other while you walk along?”

They stood still, looking sad. 18 Then one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who does not know the things that have taken place there in these days?”

19 He asked them, “What things?” They replied, “The things about Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 and how our chief priests and leaders handed him over to be condemned to death and crucified him. 21 But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things took place. 22 Moreover, some women of our group astounded us. They were at the tomb early this morning, 23 and when they did not find his body there, they came back and told us that they had indeed seen a vision of angels who said that he was alive. 24 Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but they did not see him.”

25 Then he said to them, “Oh, how foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have declared! 26 Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer these things and then enter into his glory?” 27 Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things about himself in all the scriptures.
