McCain is not the right choice.

I have tried to stay out of the political blog arena up to now.
However, after much research over a long time, I feel the need to talk out now.

A vote for McCain is a vote for at least 4 more years of an unjust war which will further bankrupt this nation and kill many more people.
The Iraq war is an unjust war. There were no "weapons of mass destruction". Bush KNEW there weren't any, because the USA was the one SUPPLYING Iraq with arms for years against Iran. Bush lied about his reason for invasion and thus, he should be tried as a war criminal.

The Iraq war was for one reason - so, Bush's family and other oil buddies could reap RECORD profits, while we payed at the pump. Sure, the prices are down NOW, because the president wants you to feel good about the situation. He wants you to vote for McCain. Thus, the reserves have been manipulated to appear that we have a surplus. Mark my words, the pump prices will rise significantly and continue to go up right after the election.

Plus, Haliburton (Cheney) and arms manufacturers profited too. Meanwhile $ Trillions were borrowed from other nations and thrown away at the war. G.W. Bush has near bankrupted this great country for profit based on lies.

Over 2/3 of the country's budget is spent on the military and to pay off the interest on the loans used for the military. If McCain is elected, he will pardon Bush and continue this travesty. We need to end the war, cut the military spending and pay off our loans (over time) rather than increase them. Like it or not, agree with it or not, McCain is not the prudent choice on election day.

I would never tell you who to vote for and there are several choices out there. If you have to, write-in your favorite candidate. However, I am pleading with you not to vote for McCain. Unfortunately, due to the last 8 years our country is in no position to afford it.

Nothing More, Nothing Less

When I come back from this journey
of the never,never,land
I'll be free,I will
be blessed
nothing more,nothing less

I am the ugly duckling in my
sweet dreams,having peaches
and cream,and no
need to scream,he says,
nothing more,nothing less

Let me manage the fears of
my scare,that, I could
take care,take some
rest and do your best
nothing more,nothing less

Some want to take me out
some are already dead,
cold in the plough,
dig to the south
where is my hope? peace
in rest
nothing more, nothing less. snowman2 reindeer jackolantern

Gullible

I was just reading this post on the recent news about this Filipina who is going to be executed in Indonesia. I feel so sorry for her but I cannot help but wonder why some people prey on other people who appear to be vulnerable and gullible? Don't they have anything else to do with their lives? Whether it is online or in real life, some people like to prey on others to extract money from them. It is amazing how they are so heartless. I do not blame the victims. Some people say that they have no brains because they allowed themselves to be victims. But remember, we do not know know the whole story why they gave in to this scams.

When will society ever change?

When/How Do You Introduce Your BF/GF To Your Kids?

Here's a very sensitive issue for me. I've been hiding my relationship from my ex-husband and my almost 11 years old son for a long time now. Few months ago, my son picked up my phone and read some messages exchanged between me and my BF. He took the whole thing really well and started teasing me about it, few days later, he grabbed my phone and started chatting to my BF. From that day on, they started talking , exchanged messages and photos. He likes to tease and joke with my BF and would often tell me to marry the guy.doh laugh Well, things are more complicated than it appears.sigh They have met already and often talked on the phone when my BF and I started dating years ago but for some reason, we had to keep the relationship secret after that.sigh

My son wants to see my BF, he likes him and that somehow makes me feel positive. Every few months my BF comes here but I never let them meet. My BF plans to spend a very nice Christmas with us, this time he is staying at my place...no more hotels. It would be a wonderful Christmas but I'm having second thoughts...I don't think it's a good idea for them to get too close.sigh it does give me a strange feeling that the relationship is getting serious...it scares the heck out of mehelp doh

How did you introduce you BF/GF to your children ?conversing moping Was it a happy event ? laugh

DAY 1 : STREET FOODS OF INDIA

I always believe, if you really want to listen to the heartbeats of the country you will be travelling, you should begin with street foods. As for me - i would be trying out chin chin in africa and bing in china, shawarma in europe and pretzel in usa, the list is pretty big.
