It would appear that less and less people still get married today, opting rather to live together ‘in sin’. That piece of paper that states that you are now husband and wife seems to count for very little lately.

A child with a surname different to the mother or father no longer carries a stigma as before. The legal aspects of such a ‘partnership’, which is all that marriage really is, can easily be arranged with a contract similar to a normal prenuptial contract.

Then have one hellava big party and you may kiss the non-bride!


Another step in human evolution; man and wife no longer form permanent bonds as they used to.

Mind you, it is very good for our genetic pool when men and women have children from various partners. I know somebody who has five children with four different fathers; and she was married to all at some stage or another.

So why get married? If you really want so much trouble – buy yourself a used Alfa Romeo!

I often wonder if our fair ladies realise what they stand to lose in attaining equality. Think about it. Nobody to offer his seat on a bus or a train anymore, nobody to open doors, and nobody offering to carry parcels. These are just a few of the perks they stand to lose.

I can still understand why men would want equality for women. We're just want to be done with those silly gestures like giving up seats, opening doors and carrying parcels but I cannot for the life of me understand why any woman - unless totally insane - would strive for equality.

It does not make any sense. Hell, I would never relinquish the upper hand if I had it.






I'm including a pair of rosy glasses for those who only see the bad things in life. There is so much fun in life if you just look at it in the right way.

It's just that nearly every woman wants a man who 'doesn't take life too seriously'. What does this mean?

Does this mean:

1. I don't take MY life too seriously:
i.e. I'm not too concerned about my life or future (which I don't think many women would like, seeing as they seem to like a 'well-made-man' - i.e. a rich man).

2. I don't take life, IN GENERAL, too seriously:
i.e. I'm a sort of shallow person who doesn't care about the world - politics, philosophy, the environment etc. If this is the case, I think I'll become gay because I can't help but care about what goes on in the world.

3. I don't take my life, or life in general, too seriously because ALL OF MY ATTENTION IS ON YOUR LIFE:
i.e. you are a princess & I will sacrifice everything for you, even though we've just met and even though you'll probably run to the hills if I'm too 'nice' & not enough of a 'bad boy'.

Another thing:
Why do most girls begin their profile with 'I don't know what to say about myself' & then proceed to tell you absolutely nothing about themselves. Yet, they aren't lost for words when it comes to what they want/need/demand off men? Tall, dark, handsome, monied etc - and this is coming from women who are short, ginger (no offense, gingers), not pretty & broke.

I'll be accused of misogyny for this post, but I'm hoping that some women will see the contradictory & harsh demands they make of men.

Maybe this explains why men lie. Men give shallow women their shallow needs - money, glimpses of power etc - then they dump them when they get what they want. Why is this wrong when women are doing the exact same selfish thing?

The love I want is a love where I would do anything for my partner - but that has to be earned, and a ribbed bra isn't gonna do it for me. What I want is a woman who asks for something different cos, as far as i can see, women are asking for the same shallow, contradictory crap.

If you don't believe me, go and check 10 profiles of women right now. I can guarantee that at least half won't know how to describe themselves, yet who will ask for a man who 'doesn't take life too seriously'.

What does that mean???

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company … a home … a relationship. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our pasts, we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. As so it is with you … we are in charge of our attitudes.

Ack I duno

I used to frown when people said I am conservative. I always saw myself a liberal and free thinking. After all, I pressed my students to explore and investigate the unknown; not to get stagnant.

But did I practice what I preached? In a way, yes; I have a very inquiring mind and I always wonder what makes things tick but I seldom adopted what I have acquired in my findings.

I am resistant to change. My old habits die hard. I don’t like changes and I adapt to them slowly. I hang onto the values taught to me as a child, regardless of how the world has changed.

I have not used Windows 95; I stuck to MS-DOS. In fact, I still have a DOS simulator on my machines. When I finally accepted Win98, I stuck to it, bypassing Win ME as well as Win 2000 - when it finally arrived - going straight to XP. Now I’m still stuck with Win XP.

Oh, I looked at all the other platforms but I did not like them. I always had them on another partition and could dual boot with them but I never used it. I did not like them. Just like I don’t like Win Vista, 7 or 8. Now I have acquired Linux but I do not get as far as installing it. I still want to cling to Win XP.

While being conservative can create some stability, it certainly puts you in a groove that is hard to escape from.


Well, the weekend is nearing its end but enjoy the new week.

Make yoursel a better person and know who you are before youtry and know someone else and expect them to know you.
Don't try so hard ,the best things come when u least expect them to.
