Water Vs Wine

To all my friends who enjoy a glass of wine…
And those who are always seen with a bottle of purified water in their hand.

As I always say:
In wine there is wisdom,
in beer there is freedom,
but in water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilogram of Escherichia Coli – that is the bacteria that we find in shit. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilogram of shit per year.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine, beer, tequila, rum, whiskey or any other alcoholic beverage, because alcohol has to go through a purification process including, but not limited to, boiling, filtering, evaporation, distillation and fermenting.

Remember then:
blues Water is Shit.
laugh Wine is Health.

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk a little shit,
than to drink water and be full of shit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information; I'm doing it as a public service in the interest of a cleaner and healthier lifestyle.

What is your type?

He/She is not my "type" .. ..roll eyes
These are often words used by people who reject someone from being a part of their lives based on pre-conceived ideas of what their partner should be like.

By doing that, "we" are excluding a whole spectrum of people from our sphere (of which we are the centre) whether it be as a result of prejudice, vanity or maybe even imitation (eg. mom and dad have a wonderful marriage, therefore I want someone like mom/dad).hug

Surely when we reject advances based on these criteria which we have set, it creates a black hole through which people are removed from your sphere, never to impact on it. Is it possible that by doing this, "we" are cheating ourselves of the opportunity to learn, to grow and to enrich our lives, through interactions with diverse peoples!conversing . Is it possible that the diversity of our interactions could make the "true connect" love so much more real and viable in light of our experience with others.

On the other hand we have been trained, especially in recent years, to decide what you want, be specific about it, develop a plan, and then go out and achieve itprofessor . Being decisive about what characteristics you are looking for in your perfect partner, means that you don't waste your time on people who are "unsuitable"

So what happens if there is a true connectheart beating, but the person does NOT comply with the criteria which you have laid down uh oh
To what extend are we then willing to set aside our pre-conceived notions or do we turn our backs and say

He/She was not my type ! ! !

uh oh dunno uncertain

Omicron variant appears to be ‘super mild‘ mutation with Covid death rate not jumping

This is the latest info on the Omicron variant.
I believe the UK and other countries made a knee jerk reaction and need to calm down and follow the science, not speculation.
To date there has not been a single death from this version of covid.

Do black people make bad parents?

I don’t normally use London buses. I don’t have to because I have more than one car to use, but one of the businesses I own is located in a part of London where parking is almost impossible. So I tend to park a couple of miles away and jump on a bus.
This part of London has historically been pretty ‘black’, all due to a lot of immigration in the 1950s and 60s. There were a lot of problems back in the 1980s, but recently a whole load of money has been poured into the area, young (white) professional couples have moved in, the bars and coffee shops have sprung up, property prices have soared and the whole area has become more ‘gentrified’.
Obviously most of the people from the past still remain, so now there is a complete mix of ethnic backgrounds and cultures and in the main everyone rubs along pretty well. However as a keen observer of human behaviour, my bus trips have led me to wonder about the parenting qualities of many of the black mothers I see. To me they appear completely ‘un motherly’, almost rough with their children and not at all attentive. In contrast the white mothers are often talking to their children, pointing out things from the window and generally giving an impression of being far more attentive.
As far as dads are concerned, I think it’s pretty well known that many black guys seem to father children by various women and then depart the scene. Which fairly well speaks for itself.
It’s a (sad) statistical fact that in the UK today, a young black guy has a higher chance of going to prison than going to university.
So all in all it makes we wonder if black people generally make not so good parents, or if the views of the left leaning, hand wringing liberal folk are correct and it’s all to do with relative poverty and lack of good role models.
By the way, I am not bothered about any accusations of racism. This is purely based on my observation and is in no way intended to be racist.

Talking To Yourself?

Do you talk to yourself? I grew up believing that it is the first sign of insanity but apparently it is not so bad. Only when you have full conversations with yourself, you need to get worried. It may be a sign of schizophrenia.scold

Normal conversation is defined as verbal exchanges between two or more persons; therefore talking to oneself can hardly be described as conversation though politicians, preachers, parents, teachers, and the likes of them often talk to themselves, believing that those who are being addressed by them are actually listening.laugh

My friends too often talk to themselves when we sit in a noisy place. Being somewhat hard of hearing, I cannot hear a thing when there is noise or music in the background. I learned to watch their facial expressions and I have developed a set of gestures, headshakes, and more facial expressions that I use to return conversation while they are blissfully unaware that they are talking to nobody but themselves.grin

Then of course, there are those who talk to the TV set. Discounting voice recognition technology to change channels, we all know that neither the TV, nor the person(s) displayed on the screen can hear or respond to you. Yet, you will often find people warning those on the screen of impending dangers, while coaches will sit on their couches in their lounges coaching their teams to victory or defeat. rolling on the floor laughing

This does not conform to the definition of normal conversation and must also be seen as talking to oneself. It is just as well those players cannot hear their coaches sitting on their couches; they damn well won’t know who to listen to.confused

But the clever people say that talking to oneself is not limited to verbal speech. Writing is also talking to yourself if it is not addressed to somebody in particular. Mind you, that sounds familiar. I have seen some blogs and comments doing exactly that; sometimes asking questions only to answer them as well in the next comment.doh

Hey folks I am back, Unbenounced to you commenters my self and 9 other DR,s of pscyh did an intensive study of sites such as this one. It was to see what the level of intellect, honesty, sincereity, and study the quirks of personality. You folks here have won the first prize you came in first in egotism, low levels of intellect ie you would rather make fun of something rather than learn something, you also make statements that have no basis of fact. You have the most scammers in my case 23 scammers to 3 real sincere people. You have also show an inner need to be recognized which is truly insecurity.
You may be surprised to learn that a lot of you have the same mania of narciccis who first suffered from extreme narcissism. India's Daughter

Finally after being banned...it is now accessible for people to watch...the story of a female medical student brutally raped and killed by men...sadly women are still treated as sub-human in this country...no celebrations are done when a female child is born...and rape according to one of the guilty party...he said a woman is more responsible for a rape than a man...unbelievable to fathom a comment coming from another human being...but incredulously the government decided to ban this documentary...
