Christmas bells heard in the air!

Christmas bells heard in the Air!

Sounds of Christmas are everywhere!

Open sleigh ride to Santa’s Christmas land

Noel music heard inside ones head

Snow flakes falling making Santa’s bed

Virgin snow upon the ground, lighted Christmas trees all around

Hiding Santa’s Reindeer hoof prints and sleigh tracks in the snow, watching Christmas tree lights all aglow!

Putting Christmas tokens in Santa’s coin box

Go to the rear and enjoy the ride

People singing, dressed up with scarf’s, mufflers with warm hands held safe inside

Snow bells ring and people singing

Christmas songs, merrily along the way!

We will all reach our destination, Santa’s land on Christmas day!

Merry Christmas to one and all!

Tis the Season!

Tis the Season!

Silver bells are heard, snow flakes flowing down in endless stream

Tis the season of our childhood dream

Christmas lights of all delights are all aglow

Christmas time, open presents from folks you know

Holiday season, children sing, music plays, sleigh bells ring, engagement ring for your love

Wedding bells await the day, heard from high above

Tis the season to be jolly

Tra la la, La La La La! It’s the season to have fun

Mistletoe kisses, holiday cheer, light the tree,
Santa’s here

Put the presents under the tree,
Is there one there, just for me?

Present giving is for Christmas time
Now it’s time to end my Rhyme

Wishing to find my own true love, beneath
My Christmas tree!

Merry Christmas ~ One & All!

Halloween Poem 2012

The night of halloween has come, it's filled with scares and screams,
The perfect time for ghosts and ghouls to haunt you in your dreams.
A rolling fog, the moon is full, the air has quite a chill,
And fending off a zombie hoard will prove to be a thrill.

The bats swoop down and chase you 'round, you fall onto the ground,
When up above, across the sky, you hear a shrieking sound.
A wicked witch is flying by and casting evil spells,
To make a creepy atmosphere in town where people dwell.

So please be sure to watch out if you stay at home tonight,
For you may be the victim of a terrifying fright.
The monsters hunt in packs and they are roaming all the streets,
And when they come up to your door they yell out TRICK-OR-TREAT!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!

OLD YEAR NEW YEAR

Another year has GONE…..
Thank GOD for your life, for a lot of people has passed on
Some not getting the chance to see,
All the things our heavenly father wanted them to be.
What was done in the pass that was NOT Godly
Pray that this year our life is different make it a priority,
So we can be our brother’s keeper and walk circumspectly.

Another year has COME…….
Let us look at this year ahead set our goals and achieve it
Do it with God’s timing, pace it.
Don’t forget everything that’s there to enjoy
Be GOOD to others be a good Christ like Girl or Boy.
Have faith and trust in the lord, make the best of 2011 that’s upon
Live, laugh, love and sing. Dance, smile, share and care.
Remember no matter what obstacle may arise, God will always be near
So have NO FEAR and ENJOY your YEAR

Rudolph's Diary

December 14, 2013

Dear Diary,

I am so ashamed
This darn nose of mine
It ruins everything
I almost got Cornelius and Hermie the elf eaten by the Bumble
My dad tried to cover it up with some mud
It fell off after Clarice gave me the courage to fly
One good thing happens and it's ruined by this deformity
Why am I such a misfit?
Just because my nose glows
Why don't I fit in?
Well I have to keep on the move so the Bumble doesn't eat me
It sure is cold out here and lonely
But if I stayed around I'd get someone eaten because of my nose
It glows really bright!
It might come in handy for reading at night
If I knew how to read

Christmas is For All

Trees bare from the depths of autumn,
winter stealthily creeps upon us,
leaves are missing for the lack of the sun,
but soon the christmas cheer will make such a fuss,

Our children and grandchildren will be full of highs,
wondering what gifts Dear Santa will bring,
on christmas day we will see the delight in their eyes,
all the joys of love will make our hearts sing,

This is the time of year when some of us are alone,
but with friendship that abounds within this site,
with loved ones dearly missed, and hearts like stone,
read the blogs and threads and smile with delight,

So instead of cussing and hurting those near,
think of all those who have no one to share,
try and think of those, just say a little prayer,
and show that in this world, some of us do care,

Dear Holiday

That time will soon be right,
for some of us and maybe more,
pack that lotion ready for the flight,
for the location with Sun that we all adore,

Sitting here in miserable weather,
cold and damp makes you want to explore,
wrapped up in that eider feather,
dust off those blues lets head for the door,

Feeling the suns warmth ray,
walking across those silken sands,
looking across that beautiful bay,
if in luck maybe hold someones hands,

Dreams of such make a daydreaming day,
especially when looking at the snow and ice,
hoping your health stays together you pray,
Oh its` so cold now maybe I will go twice.

About this poem:
Feeling the cold a little, old bones so thinking of somewhere nice and warm. Some of us will already be well ahead of the planning stage and looking forward to the day of flights.

Another sunday

Sunday morning things are kind of slow,
sun is shining what a beautiful day,
time to get my sunday dinner on the go,
no one to interfere having my dinner my way,

Hmm the smell of Roast Lamb in the air,
vegetables all prepped and steaming too,
the cat sits and waits patiently for her share,
hate cooking for one always prefer for two,

Looking through the door at the lush green grass,
please just another day or two of dry air,
can get the mower out and cut it at last,
so quiet and peaceful be nice to share,

Plays a little music to lighten the mood,
Beautiful South some soulful tunes,
stomach is rumbling looking forward to food,
another week gone by like climbing sand dunes,

Should have really gone to church,
but time and distance has eroded my faith,
I no longer have it in me for Gods love to search,
conviction has gone for me to be at the pearly gate,

About this poem:
Another rest day bit like a holiday for most, many spend this day in praise of the Lord or with families, friends, loved ones. Many also spend the time alone with their thoughts, maybe no home, no refuge, no tangible meaning of life but we all exist, I can eat my fill but others cannot and even having faith or not life trundles on like another Sunday.

THE END - POLITICALLY CORRECT CHRISTMAS ©

“And I’ll announce my coming with a different call,
I’ll change the ‘Ho, Ho Ho’s’…to just ‘Hello you all’!
I aim to please, not to offend
There’s not a rule that I will bend.”

" I shall not be a-judgmental; gays who they might be,
Shall decorate the mantles so bright and Christmassy.
Tis peace to all good people around our Universe
Nothing like some gaiety shall ere be deemed perverse.

These are special charges," the Judge said thoughtfully,
Times have changed, and the question is, must we?"
I should throw the book at you; I can't be more direct
Christmas must be safer, more politically correct.

" I object," the Lawyer spoke, "this man has done no wrong!
He's never had a record; he's done this all lifelong.
And how he does it in one night remains a mystery,
Please, I say, do not change the very course of history!"

Judge pondered for a moment; waived his gavel in the air,
And banged it on the bench with wise judicial flair.
Then smiled and faced the jury of his peers
Who happened to be little kids, wise beyond their years.

“It’s time for you to have your say.
Shall we send Santa on his sleigh?
Is he guilty girls and boys?”
’No,” they yelled. “We want out toys”

The judge then faced the crowd.
“Tis Christmas eve,” he spoke aloud,
“And homes across the world shine bright
Waiting for Santa to make it all alright.”

"I have made my decision. I hope you understand,"
The old Judge said, as he stood and raised his hand.
"Tis true this jolly man is really not so bad,
I will not be the one to make the children sad.

"Let's plow through all this stuff and lengthy litigation
With circumstantial evidence for each accusation,
I won't be remembered for creating Santa-cide
And terminating Christmastide."

"Santa is a good guy, which tradition does imply
I do not believe that he would stoop to tell a lie.
Nor be a risk to any one, no fine will be imposed.
This man is not guilty; I say the case be closed.

Turkey, Tom Turkey displayed on the table

come all and eat me if your able

Come and taste my breast of tender white

and enjoy my meal with delight

Fest on my wings, legs and thighs
