Homemade

For many hours i sat
to do this creative
present just for you.
In each and every
stitch is love from
me to you.
For this present is
made from the heart.
This present will
always be in the closet
for you to see.
Thinking of the
Christmas past this
present will always
last in your heart
for you to know how
much i love you so.

The Warmth of Christmas!

The Warmth of Christmas!

Softly falling snow, sleigh bells ringing in the air

Whiteness, everywhere, covering up the fields, treetops tipped with snow

Footsteps disappear, Christmas time is near

Deer prancing on the trail, rabbits hopping in the bush

Squirrels chattering everywhere, Christmas in the air

Fireplaces bright, red glowing embers quite a sight

Christmas decorations on the tree, presents there for you and me!

Mistletoe hung with care, trapping lovers under there

Someone will receive a diamond ring

All the people, Christmas carols sing

Midnight snacks upon one's plate

A drink of eggnog, oh so great!

Christmas comes but once a year

Oh, my love I’m glad you’re here

Merry Christmas to you & everyone!

The Star and a Humble Shepherd

Lord, you cared so much for the shepherds
You sent the good news first to them;
Before the kings and the Wise Men,
So you might just speak again.

To some other humble herdsman
Out there on the range abiding;
A brilliant star, and angel choir,
Proclaiming "Peace!" "Glad Tidings!"

The shepherds were common people
Who slept in the fields near their flocks;
Their clothes may be dirty and ragged,
And rugged and rough their talk.

So Lord, I needn't apologize
For my appearance or my words;
I know you're right here beside me,
And it seems that I've just heard..

The shepherds hastening, excited
Extolling the star they had seen;
A baby born in a manger,
Not to some great king or a queen.

But to people who do the menial tasks
That housewives and carpenters do;
And farmers and desk clerks and waitresses,
Just people like me and you.

But famous rich men brought presents
Which should prove what I know to be true;
Christ came for shepherds and Wise Men
And kings and cowgirls too.

Scrooge's Movie Review

I would like to give you my review on some of the more popular Christmas movies that are out this time of year. I myself don't get much time to watch movies as my work occupies me constantly.

Home Alone

Completely unbelieveable concept
A little boy outsmarts two grown adults crooks
If it were in real life he would have been shot dead
And boiled in his own pudding

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

The only character in that movie I like was Clark's boss
Then he gets all liberal at the end and gives out bonuses
My miserable bookkeeper Crachit is lucky he gets a day off
And in the process picking my pocket for a day of unearned wages

Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer

The good thing about this movie is that Santa and I are a lot alike
He sees a way of exploiting an employee
In this case Rudolph with his horrible birth defect
And turns it into a positive for the company
Pure genius!

It's A Wonderful Life

My favorite part of this movie is that Mr. Potter
Never gets in trouble for stealing the 8,000 dollars
From Uncle Billy
One of the most realistic movies ever made
Except for the part of George Bailey being a chump
And never making any profits off the loans he gives out
Good luck finding a George Bailey in London Or anywhere else for that matter!

Terrance the Turkey

Hello, my name is Terrance the Turkey
Can you do me a huge favor?
Please don't have turkey this Thanksgiving
I don't want to wake up Thanksgiving morning
With my head cut off and stuffing shoved up my butt
There are a lot of great alternatives
Ham is a good choice
For all you hunters out there
Vension is a great choice
Steak is always a winner with friends and family
For all you vegetarians out there
They make a fake turkey called tofurkey
Made entirely out of soybeans and other nonmeat additives
As far as pumpkin pie
It does contain eggs
I'm ok with that
They're chicken eggs!

About this poem:
The Bob and Tom Show inspired this, they have a bit called Tom Turkey, Standup Comedian. One of his jokes, A wife walks into the kitchen and catches her husband engaged in a lacivious act with a dead turkey, the exhausted husband looks up and says, "How am I doing Honey?" The wife shakes her head and says, "No, no, no, I told you to pluck the bird!"

Merry Christmas Momma

If I could bring you back for just one day
Oh, Momma, how good it would be
To rest my head upon your lap
And feel your arms 'round me
If I could bring you back for just one day
During this time of peace on earth
I would sit you in a chair made for a queen
So that I could show you your worth
No kitchen for you this year Momma
No slaving over a hot wood stove
Sit down and put your feet up
Relax and take off that heavy load
No, we never really showed you
How much we loved all you did
How special you made Christmas for us
But then, we were just kids
And so this year, here's your coffee
I so hope I made it just right
Let me get you your slippers, Momma
So that you can relax this night
But most of all dear Momma
If I could just have you here
I'd whisper to you gently
"I love and miss you, dear"

A letter to Santa!

A letter to Santa!

Dear Santa, I’m too large to sit upon your lap

And before you take your long winter’s nap

I want an adult Santa’s present, so I’m asking you

For A loving woman that needs and wants a loving man present too

I want a present that I can share

Want her with me, everywhere

Maybe start on a romantic date

With Hot chocolate drinks and Christmas sweets upon her plate

I want to take her home with me

Take her home to see my Christmas tree

Sit by a warm fire close to her

Sing Christmas songs our heart's to stir

Want her to have a heart as large as mine

Such a woman is hard to find

Santa please search the world on your sleigh

Find such a loving one for me today

Make her pleasant and full of fun

Face aglow, smiling like the rising sun

Happiness, laughing made for two
Only such a one will do!

Have your elves make a beautiful ring for me

To give to her for the world to see

Awaiting my Santa’s package of love!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Joy!

Oh! Momma!

Is there really a Santa Claus?

Yes, Son there is, he is the spirit of joy!

He spreads happiness through out the world

To people of all colors and all nations

Spreading love in sad people’s hearts

Bringing them hope of the future

Bringing families closer, that have been apart

Presents for little ones to show them the way

Allowing the poor to have a happy day

Son, my present to you, is my love and good wishes …

For life’s happiness your whole life through!

Merry Christmas Son and good-night

And may all your tomorrow’s ever be bright

Dream of Santa’s presents that he will bring you tonight!

I love you!

Christmas Eve shopping

Christmas Eve shopping

Christmas shopping and arms are dropping
Bags are splitting, wish I was sitting
Few more to get and then I’ll be set
Why do I leave it until the last minute
And then I start to get on with it
Because I am a man and I think I can
Take off my hat; women have got it off pat
January the first starts their Christmas burst
Next year I will do it all different
No, that’s just lame; I know I will do the same
Because I am a man and I think I can

Tis the Season!

Tis the Season!

Silver bells are heard, snow flakes flowing down in endless stream

Tis the season of our childhood dream

Christmas lights of all delights are all aglow

Christmas time, open presents from folks you know

Holiday season, children sing, music plays, sleigh bells ring, engagement ring for your love

Wedding bells await the day, heard from high above

Tis the season to be jolly

Tra la la, La La La La! It’s the season to have fun

Mistletoe kisses, holiday cheer, light the tree,
Santa’s here

Put the presents under the tree,
Is there one there, just for me?

Present giving is for Christmas time
Now it’s time to end my Rhyme

Wishing to find my own true love, beneath
My Christmas tree!

Merry Christmas ~ One & All!
