Broken Lanterns in the Moonlight.

Daffodils and sunflowers
lie like broken lanterns-
shattered in the moonlight.
Beside them the willows weep
swaying somberly
beneath the stars.

Rapture in the Moonlight.

Within the whispered winds of night and the silver dripped tongues of leaves.

Within the solemn boughs of weathered willows

and the twisted toils of twilight's illuminated troves.

Beneath the purple shrouded moon, within the shadowed groves,

I see her glow within the starry sky.

Beneath the icy, luminary stares, the trellised branches in despair,

the gilded tears of dew that drench my dreams,

I lie, within the broken lanterns of the daffodils.

Within the laurels of the bay,

within the crimson roses, tangerines and cherries ripe;

the rapture in the moonlight passes by.

Forever, she shall glow within the starry sky.

Regret

The angel girl of my selfish youth, now lays and waits to die
The only truth that I can believe, is truth to be a lie
My days are filled with absent thoughts' my nights are filled with tears
This fight she's told she can not win, the sum of all my fears
Our fights seem all so pointless now, regret is just a word
My soul has lost the sweetest song, my heart has ever heard
Her beauty is now hidden, by sickness, weariness and pain
Though my heart sees better than my eyes, the beauty still remains

Senseless

No sense now of either time or space
just endless rivers fall down the face and
grief constricts like a knot pulled so fast that no human finger can ever undo.
Sadness is worn like a cloak that is always the perfect fit and
memories emerge of a desire as endless as the ocean, where there was no space between water and the horizon, blue overlapping blue. Each single memory is a wave stirring, interrupting the vastness.
Loss, a thick, grey, sinewy rope, constricts the throat to a narrow entry from which no discernible sound can escape. It claws at the lining of the soul with its long, curved, cruel talons so that the mechanisms of the mind are almost paralysed with the unutterable fear of having to survive yet another day.
Tenderness wanders redundantly, aimlessly in the annals of senseless bewilderment.Loneliness, constant companion, tidies its drawer again possessively and makes its own tea.
The vast chasm of space that was occupied by your soul aches with the incomprehensibility of eternal separation.

'Bad dreams in the night
they told me I was going to loose the fight.
too long I roam in the night
I m coming back this side to make it right.'

My Full Moon

My scars blemish
daring thongs prick my innocent flesh
anguish stares me without sympathy
i wish you know how i feel

My heart experience it's darkest moment
sorrow whips me this hour
you were life's brightest comet
the lily that outshown every other flower

But i saw you yesterday
radiating life like a nightingale
now tears cascade my sleek cheeks
with thoughts i can never relinguish

I wish for a last embrace
still you left me without a trace
stroking my scroll with the deepest regret
i reminisce your past from my heart's depth

You were an epitome of joy
a lake from the purest of waters
no doubt you were my full moon
but your light went out too soon.

Goodbye

Why did you leave me
Why did you go
You left me in this cruel world
that I have to call home.
Without one last kiss or say goodbye
You died in your sleep and now I cry.
I never had a chance to say I love you
or one last time to see your face
you left me alone in this cruel and desolate place.
How do I move on with my life
Without you there is no reason to try.
I want to call just to say HI.
Now I cant and only God knows why.
I just want to see your fave
Its like I would see a little bit of heaven
in this cruel place.
I dont know why you had to go
Thats not for me to answer, I know.
Just a little whisper is all I need
To let me know you are safe and at ease.

Happy Birthday Baby

Hello my little angel
wherever you may be
soaring through the heavens
with your little angel wings
bouncing off the clouds
i bet that's a sight to see
i wish i could express
just how much you mean to me,
well today's another birthday
it seems to hurt more every year
this one is 15 i wish that you were here.
I think about you all the time
and usually i cry
I'm not doing well without you
i just cant seem to say goodbye
i know your up in heaven
but i just cant let you go
i want to hold you in my arms
because i love you so,
i want to smother you with kisses
and dry your tears each time you cry.
But somehow I'm the one
with the tears burning my eyes,
but very happy birthday
my little angel in the sky
I'm sending kisses up to heaven
cause that's all i got to give
while your soaring up in heaven
with your pretty little smile
I'm left her without you
missing you all the while.

crossed roads

driving down the roads our paths
going out to meet the world
see white crosses of travels wrath
some flowers with flags unfurled

we pass by quickly trying not to
think about how they got there
realize there were folks somebody knew
be cautious on the way we take care

trying not to think about who was left
behind and the tears that surely fell
who brought crosses of love left bereft
for all who pass by they tell

a tale of admonishment to pay attention
and arrive safely, a disasters prevention

Grandparents

His unruffled spirit
seemed some-what addicted to siting in solitude,
Within those old white washed walls I wish they could wisper,
into my youthfull ears and include,
all of the stories and his memories of her,

I can allways remember her smiling
like she had done it a million times before,
and of course my grandmother had done,
now with the weight of remembrance no-more,
they both lay under the golden sun.
