HelloGoodbye

One Day

I'm no one special according to me.
There's a hopeless gap in this esteem.

Fluttering and flitting about
I'll say my lines, while you figure out-

What could come next?

Like a blind prophet somewhere
In the middle of a sand storm.

I could say that I don't care
But we both know how this heart's worn.

So what is there left to say
When you're reading my future?

Rain drops end with today,
Death's voice is loud- so we mute her.

Goodbye my friend

You left so quickly
Didn't have the time to say our goodbyes
All those precious memories shared by enlightened souls

Times we traveled afar to witness Gods beauty glistening in the waters below.
Expressions of color dazzle the eyes below
A rainbow of love
Dancing in pristine waters
Expressions of the Creators love
Swarming as do honey bees
Sparkles of tiny light dancing in the water
Futures to behold. As generations start a new
Shooting stars of amazing colors so do delight!

Till we meet again
I will send you a rainbow of love
Here on earth below

Feelings

An empty space
a vacant chair
just waiting there.
Looking into there
i see all the happy
times with thee.
You made me smile.
You made me laugh.
You were full of
such glee for all
the world to see.
The light shown
off you with love
for all to see just
how much everyone
meant to thee.

Pain

Pain is strong
Pain is hard
Pain will make you
And pain will break you
It will show you
Life, through others eyes
May show you right
Or may show you wrong
No matter who you are
It'll pull you down
Get back up
And start again.

Looking Back

Life was so much different then
When I was young and free
No cares or worries to bother me
As a merchant marine I went to sea

Around the world so many times
The things I saw and did
None compared to sweet Marie
When I found her in Madrid

One look I knew right away
That I would make her mine
We’d sit at night and watch the stars
As we slowly sipped our wine

One year and one day from when we met
I made her my wife
We settled down near the shore
And good was our life

Sometimes we’d argue, sometimes we’d fight
But never a hand we’d raise
Come end of day, all things were well
Our love set the night ablaze

Time moves on, we all get old
And eventually we die
The best part of me went to the grave
And I said my last goodbye

Would I change a single thing
And spare myself this pain
Looking back over my life
I’d do it again and again

Thinking of You

Dishes Piled in the sink
Pausing,
I stop and think
Of the times we laughed
and played our games.
To think, now
Those memories
only bring pain
Of the time you left me
On that Cold, October day
There you swept
my heart away.
I try to forget
and focus on dishes
But then my mind wanders
to you and your wishes.
A wish for more time,
A wish for no pain.
Thinking of this
Tears fall now as rain.
God,
How I wish I could have you back
I think of this
as the dishes just stack.
I know you're not suffering
and you're in no more pain
I'm longing for the day
I can hold you again!
I decide to go
and lie in my room.
The dishes can wait.
I'm thinking of you

YES

Really I am so lost without you!
You never give me bad things
Only good and worthy things!
Even YES... I admitted ...
Sometimes ... I leave you ...
But ... LOVE always leads me back to YOU!

Just like Eric Clapton says ...
"Would you hold my hands IF I saw U in heaven"
But ... I think I'm not deserve to b there
But ... I wanna b there with you
IF I COULD!

YES ...
I missed you, MOM!
YES ... your awesome daughter missed U!

About this poem:
My belated mom was a very special to me ... whatever she did, however she reacted with my attitudes, why she did this and that, oftenly ... I can't figure it out ... BUT at last I know that she did it because she LOVES me!
And this poem is for you BUNDA ... I know I'm not good to make this ... but I know that THERE IN YOUR NEW HOME ... you love this!!
Memories of you will always with me.

Gaza 2014

Someone asked me once if i remembered how it all went down
as if it happened long ago that anyone would forget

so yeah i remember

i remember when their homes and towns became their graveyards
when the tunnels became our only survival

i remember when the bombs fell out of the skys
when the cars stopped running when the electricity shut down and the world went into darkness

i remember when they put up the razor wire and the Israel defence force ran out body bags for the children their bombs killed

some of us sort of lost our minds
some lost more than that
much more

so yeah i remember
but now i don't give a damn about any of that

you know what i remember most
riding the open road the smell of your hair the touch of your skin

i remember you
but those days are gone now
im a drifter and for me the broken road is all thats left
but I'll always remember

Coward

Wherever did you get the gall?
I'm sorry,
Who died and made you the King,
Of Anything..

Where do these crazy ideas come from,
Your own crazy, empty head?
Or most likely, you were dilusional,
Had a delusional thought, and chose to act upon it,

In an antisocial way..such Audacity!
Well you had no right, you had no reason..
No one appointed you,
no one gave you licence,
To maim, to hurt, to kill..

Whomever shall live, and whomever, shall die,
You have no God given right to decide,
If you're not content, within your little world,
Then,by all means, get some help.
or put the gun to your own head,
You've no right!

To disrupt anyone elses world,
Did it give you a sick thrill,
In the midst of it all..
To announce to your little world,
What a big man you were with a gun,..

Pity you were the only one..
Had you been a real man,
Everyone there, that night,
Would have had one.
But, you never, gave them a chance,
did you?
Coward!

Walking Shadow

Walking the tightrope,
Was so easy,
The balances were tuned,
Muscles as tight as a crossbow,
The rope was broad,
And no wind blew.
I could defy gravity,
In the strength of youth,
I was invincible,
Shielded from harm,
By luck and self belief.
But now the body rebels,
I walk in the shadows,
Knowing despite an entrenched will,
Body clocks tick to their own tune.
The ropes are thinner now,
The wind sways in all directions.
Yes, there is bravado,
It keeps us alive.
That safety net,
Is tenuously tied,
Maybe there might not be a happy landing.
The shadows grow longer,
As the bright sun of yesterday, sets.
I’ve been here before,
But sooner or later the fall will come,
Into the darkness,
Into that great abyss,
Into the world of shadows.
