Closed Door

Prickly skin warning of things unseen.
Waiting and watching as time goes by.
Feeling unable to move from pain.
Wanting to move unwilling to try.
Days gathering in darkened corners.
Greeting reflection I do not know.
Insides hiding letting outsides run the show.
Finally willing to except change.
Feelings of what is to come
Raw nerves and fight comes undone.
Feelings of comfort all warm and content
Feelings of the familiar as if heaven sent
Knowing now what was waiting for a sign
Hardening of the heart keeping the heart blindsnowed in

Endless

Endless waters
over endless rocks

So scared that I may die today

What better place to die today

Below mountain tops to mourn for me

In waters clear for me to see

the sky that blankets everything

and clouds that dance
to whistling winds

9701

Its hard enough trying not to cry,
but the tears burn right through my eyes.
As this empty void becomes a deeper hole
I begin to realize.
That if I could just hold her tight,
and tuck her in her bed at night.
Keep her safe and warm and all her feelings calm
while I sing her a lullaby.
I look outside of my window every day,
Hoping that I could laugh as I watch her play.
but you say shes gone off to a better place,
So tell me God is she ok?

Dad , The House is Empty

Dad , We've finshed moving Out
Our House is Empty..
And The Silence is so loud
Dad , I wish you were around
To see the new house ..
I wonder if you're lookin down
Upon us ..
Dad , Today I've picked up
The last Shirt you used to wear
I can still smell your perfuem
In it , everywhere
I kept on hugging this shirt
Till the last tear ..
Dad , It's sad to leave this place
Our last moments is living there ..
Our laughs and talks ..
And you're Beautiful face ..
The house is empty dad ..
As Im looking up to pray for you ..
Wishing you peace and joy ..
I hold on to your shirt for a while ..
And locked up our house ..
For the last time

Up From the Darkness

You came up from the darkness without me.

My soul shattered like glass.

My mind is blank, my stomach in knots.

Why was I left behind.

Heart beating frantically, breathing is raced.

You're no longer around.

No more laughter and smiling.

Just sadness and increasing pressure.

You came up from the darkness without me.

You'll always be remembered.

About this poem:
Dedicated to anyone who has lost some precious. I wrote it for my cousin who passed away four years ago. It explains what it feels like to lose a loved one, but in the end how they'll always be with us.

MOM

WHO AM I, TO QUESTION GOD?
BUT I DID!
I ASKED WHY YOU TOOK HER SO SOON.
I LOVED HER, I NEEDED HER!
TO FEEL HER STRENGTH WHEN I FELT POWERLESS.
TO FEEL LOVE WHEN I FELTS SO ALONE.
SHE GUIDED ME THRU THE DARKNESS.
MADE LIFE BEARABLE IN TIMES OF DESPAIR.
GAVE WHAT SHE HAD AND NEVER IN DOUBT.
SACRIFICE HER HEALTH TO PUT FOOD AND SHELTER BEFORE US.
SHE NEVER LET US KNOW HER PAINS.
PUT ON A MASK AND WENT ABOUT HER DAILY TASK.
AS I GOT OLDER, IT WAS MY TIME.
TO TREAT HER AS SHE DONE ME.
BUT THE TIME YOU GAVE WAS TOO QUICK.
I NEVER KNEW SHE WAS SICK.
I PRAYED TO YOU.
I BEGGED YOU.
BUT I GUESS YOU KNEW WHAT WAS BEST.
YOU TOOK ONE OF YOUR GREATEST CREATION.
YOU TOOK MY MOTHER HOME AND LET HER REST.

THAT WHICH I REQUIRE IS DIRE by ~free cee!~

something out of the ordinary
something unexpected
something i've never done before
something that at the end of the day i could say
hey, that was an exhilerating feeling
doing something out of character for me
i'd like something for someone else to come true
i'd like something wonderful to reach the heart of someone who fully deserves it
i'd like to buy a couple a wondrous dinner and be the waiter to serve it
i'd like to see someone smile at a stranger and I'd hope a stranger's
grin would turn into more
until they're kissing good night at her door
i'd like to do something for someone whose heart is in the same place as mine
i'd like to make a new aquaintance shine
i'd like to walk a mile, sit down by a lake and drink raggae champagne
i'd like to say to someone, "oh, i'm sorry, the raggae champagne made a stain"
i'd like to help eradicate the stain
and if they feel the need i would try to rid them of their pain
i'd like to help someone i don't know with their stress and strain
i'd like something blatantly extravagant to occur
like finding her
a woman un-like so many others who've asked for gems, luxury and floor length fur
i'd like to find someone to make me completely, un-mitigatingly, startling and unexpectedly feel at ease
to forget for a while the threat and debts of my enemies
i'd really like someone remarkably new
Without my being presumptuous,
could that lady be you?

About this poem:
a lovely Brit told me today is my birthday so i had to be nice after reading something under a poem i posted about two hours ago, so by now it should be on page 27....the only trouble is yesterday was my birthday, so i needn't be nice today...fret not, a lot more of my anger will be fueld by anxst creeated by contemptable people like most of youi, who propogate more disappointment than successes, because that's what you people do when you give false hope to the hopeless! see you people are limiting my arrogance! ~free!~

Existing no more

Dreaming of a tomorrow
just looking to today.
seeing all the
BLANKNESS
EMPTINESS
WITHIN
Waiting for
fulfillment
seeing only
nothingness ahead
wishing i could
blend into the
background and
just disappear.
For not a person
would miss me
not here.
Gone never
needing life
in me no more.
For another
could benefit
even more if
they could take
my place.If
they could exist
instead of me.
Saying bye to
the world forever
for the lord
has a place for
me with happiness
and joy.
Which i can
not find here
NO MORE.
Going home
forever more.

When The Reaper Comes For You

Embedded image from another site

What is that I see out of the corner of my eye
Dressed in black and a scythe he was carrying
Could this be? I dared not think, the one they called the Reaper
And if it was did he pick me or was he just passing

I could feel the sweat run down my back as fear gripped tightly
Was much too young to leave this world, the great beyond be seeing
But there he stood so quietly, not a word from him was spoken
Ever so slowly his head did turn, his blazing eyes bored through me

I must admit that by this time I was shaking rather badly
This was made so much worse when slowly he glided towards me
As he lifted his arm the sleeve fell back, a bony finger pointed
'Thomas Roberts,' from beneath the hood spoke deathly voice, 'it is time'

My knees trembled, my heart throbbed and tears ran down my face
'Is there nothing I can do to gain more time?' I begged unashamedly
Last thing I heard as life fled me was a hollow booming laugh
'When I come, your time is up, no bargains shall we strike.'
