Is it wrong to love her?

Is it wrong to love her?
If it is then lift me to
my feet
Write a note to her and
say, 'You left him on his
knees and broken in spirit..
You left him..
Where does he go now?
What is he suppose to do?
Where is mercy?'

Rain

Lost in The rain
Nobody to blame
Feeling ashamed
You came and then you went
I have nothing to give
My heart is empty
My tear face stained
It's full of pain
Alone I walk in the rain
Searching for something
That I'm missing
What it is I have no clue
My glue is coming undone
I feel so lost and alone
I want to pick up the phone
I know nobody's home
Along these streets I roam
Looking for a Place of my own
Something that I can call home

Flowers in the sky

Twinkle twinkle in the sky
So many flowers
Floating high up in the sky
I see all the colours of the rainbows
As they gently float on by
These beautiful flowers in the sky
Make me wanna cry
Tons and tons of flowers
If only I could fly
I would Lay flowers in your arms
For you will always be my flower in the sky

A Reminder (Pain never says goodbye)

The battle is half won,
But still it drags on,
Another misery been found,
A mother joy drowned.

Another day gone by,
Another sorrow standby,
Another happiness fly,
Pain never says goodbye!

A little joy stolen,
A little fun hidden,
Why is it forbidden?
All hope forsaken!

Motivation a must,
Leaving yesterday dust,
Tomorrow another rush,
Today I'll wait to pass.

If only you knew,
I share with you,
Not the devil's rust,
But your human touch.

I will carry on,
From where I fall,
And break these walls,
And walkway brave and tall .

About this poem:
seeing the turmoil my mum is facing,
the impending doom she is feeling,
lost and a neglected woman,
I can't pacify nor console her. . .

she's going to a welfare home,
for her its as good as
going to her own burial.
and I can't say a damm thing

The man she really wants

The man she really wants won't
be found in some scribbled poem
He won't dial her number as she
sobs by a late night phone
For she knows that he is born of
magic which the wind cannot contain
Only He understands her smiles and
the sorrow of her rain
She awaits for him to decend with
sword and shield in hand
She reasons her children will florish
in a sweet and conquered land
But she awakens to the kiss of her
prince, yet it's to sad for words to tell
For she lived her life as a devil
And now she abides in Hell..

" Hit The Switch ! " ( Cafetwo Challenge.).

No famous last words, do I need to speak,
I've spoken them already in life,
No more tearful attention, I wish to seek,
For I dread all this idle strife.
My fatherly advice will always carry on,
Long after I stench the cold clay,
Visible in the lives of my daughter and son,
In their hearts forever, to stay.
I wish you all well, I had my chance,
For regrets now, it's much too late,
My entire life reduced to a backward glance,
Like a warrior, I accept my fate.
I bid you all adieu, my poetic friends,
My pen now to mourn on a shelf,
The time is nigh for life's rhyme to end,
Hit the switch ! ..or I'll do it myself !

My Dog

I had my dog
It saved me from darkness
It gave me quietness
When all was lost
When the stars
Disappeared
And the earth turned
Into a ridiculous globe
And God seemed to leave
The heavens
My dog came to me
And whilst crying
With my face buried deep
Within her fur
I suddenly felt better
The stars came
Back to the sky
And all the questions
Were gone
From my head
She looked into my eyes
And saved me
From my eternal battle.
I had a dog
Her forever name
Was Dera

The Last Call

Behind the black curtain
She sits in a chair
Waiting for her name to be called
As she sits and waits
night time falls
the halls have been cleared
the walls all bare
How long has it been
Since somebody has been here

Her once beautiful black hair
Has turned a shade of gray
Her bright smile
Has no life to it
Her brown eyes
Have lost there spark
How long as she been sitting in the dark

The black curtain
All weathered and worn
This lady her heart so torn
how long has she sat here and mourned

She sings songs of a life that’s now gone
She dances in her head
She pretends she’s in his arms
Her heart pounding to the sounds
The music makes her sway
what she would give
If only she could have him for a day

The light peeps through the curtains
She closes her eyes
She can’t look at the sunlight
She sits behind the dark curtain
Waiting for her name to be called
She falls to her knees
She begs please
Take me to you
Let this be my last call

Witness.

Loneliness corrodes your insides,
I am drunk on your emotion,
heightening my senses,
to a love like illusion,
I long to comfort by touch,
but confuse you with desire,
I the intruder in your grief,
witness of your search for peace,
welcome your pain it is,
my old familiar friend.

Death Scape

An absence of thought.
Dreamscape or naught.
Reborn again perhaps
Or blackness collapse.
Recline in fluffy cloud
Or burn and cry loud.
Poltergeist with aura
Or no more tomorrow.
Does anyone yet know?
Where we finally go...?
