Jennifer's Song

An angel sang her way in to my heart
Early one rainy spring day..
And brought with her sunshine into my life,
But alas she could not stay.

Such a beautiful smile
She wore to hide her pain,
Her heart an umbrella
To shield us from the rain.

I see her beautiful face, in the setting sun,
I can hear her voice through each gentle rain,,
When the songbird sings, he sings Jennifer's song,
Don't cry, we'll be together again.

Fly, my special angel,
Fly high, fly proud and fly free..
Through tear stained eyes, I look upwards and sigh,
She is now, where angels are meant to be.

Time to go home

My Dad Joe and incredible man
way back in he's wonderful mind
A condidion kicks in of an
unimaginable kind.

Cancer is its name, pain is what it
causes,it acts as an unthinkable game
for it never pauses

we didn't see it coming,we had no time to prepare
the cancer took his life as if it did'nt give
a care

As I watch this terrible disease take a one I love
I cant help but ask for strength from the one
up above

For my Dad Joe each breath is weaker than the last
I pray to get help,I pray to cure the past
to God I ask to cure the pain I feel
I asked him for the help
I asked him to heal

I can see it in hes eyes
I can see it on hes face
he's had a happy life
he's ready to finish the race

He's been through so much
Its time for him to go home
to leave behind sorrow and pain and see were happiness and laughter could roam

If I ever need to talk to him
I'II just look up at the stars
He'll be there to listen
He'll be right next to God

This day I wish I could forget
I wish to leave it all behind
I wish to have a life recorder so I could just push rewind

So God we need you now please take him by the hand
take him up to where he belongs help him
to understand

Now the memorises will always linger they'll never go away
You'll have them to love and remember to start a brand new
Day

The hurt we are all feeling now wont go away overnight but
someway, somehow everthing will turn out allright

He's now seated at the right hand
were one day we'll meet again
The Lord is with you Dad he welcomes you home
Heaven is your home now and God is your savour
God loves you Dad and he is proud to bring you home

Its hard letting you go Dad but I trust in God and I belive
he has you home
your sprit lives on and your soul forever will rest in the
presences of the lord

we will always love and miss you Dad
and always remember that smile, that caring heart that warm embrace
you always gave us and we will look forward to the day we can
be with you in heaven

my beautiful trio

one never needs to understand the words
its the meaning of the lingering sentence
that weighs on the mind

one shall not be dispaired from words
roughed and hurt
one can always turn and choose

to arrange them
as they want

we may not stand up to
feathered nests of many
but as we make our ground
it is from there we begin the walk

sweeping around the shattered corners
at times wallowing in the shadows
then rising off my broken knee's
I gave so much to please

I lost the ships of 3

you all fell silently into the night
never would they cross my path
all time had gathered them away

I shall only find their island
when hence I do succome

I miss you all so very much,

I try so damn hard to fill that void
and in the years of living life with you all
my memories silently call

of the greatness you all shared with me,
I am truly blessed

As the heart wrenching true words from a friend
lay mellow before me

you know who are.......

You quoted
"Hemmingway"

and in my life I went my way

Thank
you

The Fight In Me

Sometimes it's difficult to let go.
When you have already lost so much.
One last kiss, one last touch.
I should be so good at good byes.
But losing you still makes me want to cry.
I am tired of hearing it is for the best.
That is what I have heard about the rest.
Had my palm read once upon a time.
It was really done in fun.
But she knew this life of mine.
Of the things that I would see.
I wonder to this day.
If she seen the fight in me.
I keep trudging on along.
Trying to find the right in this wrong.
Wondering why I am still here.
And remaining strong.
Holding onto each day.
Not going to give one away.

No Excuses

Sitting here not knowing.
What I am to do next.
I see the time has come.
To move on and start growing.
When I thought by now.....
My life would be on the setting sun.
But my work I guess is not done.
I still feel the wonder of a child.
And I hear life calling.
At first so weak and mild.
Now it's more like prodding me.
To go out and see what I can see.
No excuses to be made.
It is time to start anew again.
My life is at a new beginning.
Not a closing end.
Once again I am ready to live.
And once again I can forgive.
Yes, it hurt all so bad.
And left me feeling really sad.
But now the hunger inside me.
Searches for the new adventures that will be.
It is time to move on.
And let the pain become by gone.
Happiness is mine.
Given a chance one more time.

Flowers in the wind

Though the wild flowers blow in the wind,
they are not lost,
for God is the one,
who knows the number and counts the cost..
For, when the earth opens,
and, the tempest overcomes,
there is nought for his children to do,
for this is their time to sleep, as their spirit succumbs.

Lennon Fever

Mid-life crisis moved him into seclusion.
Took his creativity with him
and came up with his own solutions.

The king was in the kitchen
making bread and honey.
The queen was in the office
counting all the money.

Two hearts burning toward the sun
evolving with every breath;
etching the sky, becoming one.

“Every man has a woman who loves him
rain or shine, life or death.
If he finds her in this lifetime
he will know when he presses
his ear to her breast.”

The Smell of Death

Feeling the biting cold north wind blow
I stand on a precipice of a shale cliff
Overlooking the dull choppy waters below
The smells of decaying life is all I sniff
Behind me I glance dim lights of my chateaux
Then swirling high a white form makes as if
A sudden dive into frigid waters it might go
A form of a seagull turning into a hieroglyph
That smell really is the smell of death I whiff

i am not worth the ink in my pen

why can i write of nothing i know of
and why cant i of what i do
why can i write of what i dont feel
why not of emotions, true.
im not able,my reasons why
am i without sincerity
i cant write whats inside
emptyness inside of me.

expressive words, come to me
for i cannot think
i am a pen.. without ink.

I'll Choose Heaven..

Right now we all wonder will it be the end..
Of the hatred the calmity and pain,.
No way do we want to see 9/11..
ever repeated again..
Sure they killed an evil man, today
but he is only one man..
And what of all of his followers...
How on God's green earth,
do we make them understand,
That killing innocent people,
In another country,
Is not what is meant to be..
For We are all brother's ands sister's living
And coexsisting on this,
the planet Earth.
And lest we ever forget,
We only have to read
the book,
That tells of Jesus's birth.
And though many will balk at this..
That is your choice and so it shall be..
But I'd rather belive in a place called Heaven..
Then in all of this pain, chaos and calamity.
