iLife

i want to hear in my iEar
i will wander on my iFeet
i can think with my iMind
endlessly iTalk until iRepeat

the best iWay to iGo iKnow
iStart, iWork, through my iDay
after hard iToil, iSlow...so
at night iLike iRest and iPlay

my iFriends iSee because
we view our iLives to iMax
they're iPeople, like iMe
so we iHangout to iRelax

iScreen between what iWant
though iLaughter is iBest
and what iNeed to iSucceed
iNever would have iGuessed

with my iCell i'M never iLone
always amorous of next iFad
i store iStuff, never iNough
what iThought i wanted, i had

wanting some iLove from iYou
and iCard filled with iDough
only what i'M entitled to
to help me as an iPerson iGrow

can iHelp you to understand?
can my iLife be understood?
do i even know my own iSoul?
did i ever iBelieve iCould?

therefore René

nearly the same is mattered mastication
thinking like chewing needs some tooth
just like a rational reasoned rumination
for gaining nourishing thought of truth

Descarte would welcome what's for dinner
well balanced in hedonism and discipline
take hearty thought began the beginner
desire to know all things is not sin

he thought he knew what made him René
what was to his mind an obvious thought
it could not have been any other way
was the deeper meaning that he sought

into arithmetic space he laid a grid
Cartesian coordinated analytic geometry
still, so much more he said and did
today places you and I to the Nth degree

modern philosophy begins with Descarte
as back from dark ages civilization came
a firm foundation to make a fresh start
thought and reason have never been the same

spiritual leaders took a more heavenly stand
what perplexed then, obvious now of course
he overcame with logic, on the other hand
remember to recall Descarte before de horse

recollect his best mantra "Cogito ergo sum"
"I think, therefore I am" his wisdom become

The Thief, the Philanthropist, the Meek, and the T

The Thief, the Philanthropist, the Meek, and the Tyrant
The greedy, the compassionate, the weak, and the violent
They come to me in the greatest debate
Explaining their cases, my mind contemplates
The conflicting, the considering, the decisions to make
The four of me converge to measure the stakes
The weighing, the comparing, the tipping of scales
As a wandering dog on thin ice, still chasing his tail
For my mind chooses from four, my persuasive tools
It's selection determines me a genius or fool

The thief, never satisfied with whatever is gained
Oblivious to the outcomes dealing with pride or of shame
His only desire is the acquiring of more
To him what you posses is the measure, the score
He is void of others. Void of any distribution
But he provides a valued and needed contribution
With out him there is nothing I want
No knowledge, No freedom, No activity, No one
For careful with his suggestions I'll must be
But to ignore him would be the very shackles of me

The Philanthropist, the one that gives without question
A fulfiller of souls, the selfless progression
He bares the knowledge that one can not be of itself
He bares the heart and to it it's own wealth
Held high in esteem, he is the giver of compassion
Yet he by himself can not deliver attractions
He by his own will not allow one to live
For without the thief, he has gained nothing to give
No coin, No freedom, No Knowledge he's chained
But without him, I am a man not worthy of name

The meek, the tempered, the collected old soul
To live life in peace is his directive, his goal
The voice that whispers to get out of harm's way
The voice that chooses caution, to halt, or delay
The master of knowing when to swallow one's pride
One not compelled when asked to be a taker of sides
However, in peace, he provides no tools to defend
Not for his freedom, his knowledge, his family or friends
He is one at peace, but for himself he can't make peace
But to forget him, I'd be a monster, a tormentor, a beast

The Tyrant, the one that protects, destroys and maims
He is of himself but yet holds onto no aim
His instincts are to act, to move and peruse
To conquer all challenges, to break, to undo
The one that sparks fear, that drives harm away
To chase off the invaders and those who betray
However to let run rampant, more harm he'll invite
He needs the meek to choose battles, to earn some respite
He is the most volatile and dangerous, both wild and insane
But to deny him, there is no vehicle for accomplishments gained

Ode to Grecian Earning

world economies keep on churning
and sliding toward dark disarray
we give a salute to Grecian earning
and the government's save of the day

looking far and wide for debt relief
with debt as a percent of GDP
assuage our soul and release our grief
can't borrow forever, lunch ain't free

Greeks work hard, toil in Mediterranean sun
for government tarnished by corruption
it's harder and harder just to have fun
so we await citizen's wrathful eruption

the papers and net predict imminent doom
the world may just cease to turn
can't seem to produce more to consume
and keep borrowing more than we earn

Canada day

It is another wonderful Canada Day
The Queen was in Ottawa today
The planes were flying high
and the children waved good bye
Saskatchewan and Montreal are playing football
action aggressive what a call
Anthony Cavillo is setting many records for a quartterback
The opposing team seems to be giving him so much slack
How can you win if you do not control the game
To win conquer prevail it is all the same
Other activities at the park
Entertainers making their mark
Children getting painted as a clown
This is better then a frown
How many more Canada days will there be
plenty more but just wait and see

travelled far ?

Travelled far ?

At times I think that my life has made a turn
Only to watch it crash and burn
Promises made, never followed through
People’s values differ, I know it’s true
Society expectations is at an all time low
Shallow are we that emphasise the show
Do I look good in this, do I drive the rite car
Is this the place to be seen, have we travelled that far?
Dept is the beast that we now feed
Life now is driven by simple greed
I sit and watch the world rotate
Theft, murder, fear and hate
What has happened to human race?
In the streets of the privileged there off there face
Down at the corner some one is dead
Blood all around, bullet through his head
So life has no value it seems so bazaar
We must push on, have we travelled that far?

The Coffee Is Cold

Every day it draws
Nations of hidden shadows marching our way
Crying whispers trembling away

The dreamer dreams the prescribed same
Year after year it’s like a haunted game

Robots pushing their counterfeit way
Kids running astray
Striking fear it sends
Nobody seems to be friends
Threatening and forcing their way

The coffee is cold
I’m tired sick of growing old
The coffee is cold
I’m tired sick of growing old

Royal bloodlines
Approving outrageous fines
We wake up
To the same pale day
There’s nothing left to say

The coffee is cold
I’m tired sick of growing old
The coffee is cold
I’m tired sick of growing old

The world is on a tilt
Damn this system we built

Seems there’s nothing we can ever dream
No matter how loud we scream

The dream remains the empty same
Year after year it’s like a haunted game

Orwellian

If you haven't had
your swine-flu shot
If you try to run you'll
Be caught, get your RFID today
If you don't then you will pay.

Big brother says you
Must have your vaccination,
Don't try to run,
Don't try to go on vacation.

If you haven't had
your swine-flu shot
If you try to run you'll
Be caught, get your RFID today
If you don't then you will pay.

Raid your house and
Hold you down, doctor says
With a frown, Hold still
While I violate your civil rights
Terrify you, lay awake at nights

If you haven't had
your swine-flu shot
If you try to run you'll
Be caught, get your RFID today
If you don't then you will pay.

~"the street" an it's precious diamonds strewn out of reach to where thrown arms unable to catch with crippled hands, out of a cloudless sky did rain tears n etched those precious diamonds with drop filled fear~

The Girl with Two Lips

Once Upon in modern times
There was a girl with two lips…
She was gentle, passionate, and full of dreams
But, non was revealed, other than her Two lips

The girl with two lips
Never had a passion on her lips
She hires her lips, for lucrative bids…

The girl with two lips
Pretends sensations on her lips
She moans for starvation
in her mumbling lips...

The girl with two lips
Dress elegant - to cover her lips
She pleads for dignity
Under her covered lips...

The girl with two lips
come on...
She is another girl with two lips
She should not be in poems
read by cultured lips !!!
