The wounded ape...

Long and hard has been his walk,
From lush valleys and verdant forests,
To the present-day concrete jungles,
Hell-holes, all of them...

Many have been the grievous wounds the ape received,
And continues to receive,
As he marches on to his nadir,
The almost-darkness that has befallen,
Homo sapiens, sapiens...

From the first bottle of milk his tender lips embrace,
To the first apple he sinks his teeth into,
To the first steak he devours as a proud and hungry young man,
He is wounded by hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and insecticides,
The assault continues with the irradiation of food,
And now, he faces a new nightmare,
"Frankenfood", otherwise known as genetically modified ‘food’ fit only for Mary Shelley's character Frankenstein and the monster he created...

Let’s also not forget the deep and almost incurable mental, emotional, psychological and spiritual trauma,
Inflicted on him by a desperately black and dragon-hearted group of nth-degree satanic beings, hell-bent only on worshipping the almighty dollar and multiplying it by spilling the innocent blood of all in sight...

On the beaches, in homes, in restaurants, I watch in utter despair,
As once-beautiful, healthy babies now in their middle ages,
Have been turned into unsightly, obese and disease-ridden blobs of rotting flesh,
Ripe pickings for a brutal ‘big-pharma’, dedicated to anything but natural, vibrant health,
Interested only in the obscene profits to be made from milking the savings of fear-laden, injured souls, seeking some relief from their many wounds,
By peddling them toxic products, designed only to mask the symptoms and cure... nothing...,
Fattening the already bloated purses of Wall-Street sharks...

The wounds are endless, for both the male and female of the species,
School, false higher education, society and trendiness, banksters, credit cards and mortgages, taxes, prisons for profit, etc., etc. ad nauseam...

Will the wounded ape ever receive lasting healing...???

Darkman/Lightman...

In caveman times, relationships were simple and uncomplicated,
You would just grab a female by the hair and have your way with her, before tossing her aside again...,
Now, you have to woo her, like some wogian of yesteryear,
Buy her flowers, say sweet things to her, smile a lot of fake smiles,
Caress her hand gingerly, etc.

So, what’s a modern male looking for in a woman in order to transcend his ‘caveman-ness’? What does he need in a woman to become ‘the prince-in-shining-armour’?
He needs to be able to look in her eyes and tell her:
“I’m unlike anything you could ever understand, in fact, you will never understand me. I have needs and urges you can never fathom, some of them will scare you stiff, others will thrill you beyond belief... But, it’s Ok, don’t worry, I will not hurt you or our young ones, in fact, I will gladly sacrifice my life for your and their protection, and work like a dog to provide for you.[Disclaimer: I’m talking here about 99% of the male population, I am, of course aware of the aberrant few who are the exception...] I want to always love you, always care for you. I want you to be my best friend, my lover, my whore... I want you to be the able mother and moral teacher of my children, I want to show you off to my peers, I want to be proud of you always... I want to always be intoxicated by your mystery, your unutterable femininity... I need you to understand that I will constantly make mistakes, sometimes I will hurt you deeply, not because I wish to, no, mostly, its because I don’t see why something is wrong, in these instances, you have to be woman enough to correct me, at the right time, in the right way, so as not to offend me and alienate me, ‘cause, I do suffer from insufferable pride, and the last thing I want is for you to drive me away from you... At times, fear will overtake me and like a little boy, I will need some mothering, not for long, just till I recover, do not mistake this for weakness, for very soon I will be ready to take up my sword again and go on to be a warrior to be reckoned with... A jerk, I will be at least six times a day, overlook it, teach me gently, and the jerking will diminish, believe me, it is so... At times I will need my space and or time away with the boys, you must let me go, otherwise you will either castrate me or estrange me, and I will seek comfort and understanding in the bosom of a strange woman in a New York minute... I could go on ad-infinitum, but, finally, I want to be able to meaningfully hold your hand, look into your eyes and know that even though you know all these horrible things about me, you are able to see beyond them, to focus on my good points, and they’re many, believe it, it is so. I need to know that you see a man you love and adore, a man who makes your heart sing, a man who understands you, a man who adds meaning to your life, a man you want to spend the rest of your life with, even though, he’s sooooo screwed up...”

True-Number News

700 foreign troops killed
2010 minimum
Afghan casualties
far higher

far higher?
where is the news
how many Taliban?
how many innocents?

a decade of loss
on all sides
but where are the
true numbers?

which life does
not get counted?
that answer tells
us something

My way…

[Paul Anka was certainly onto to something when he penned: my way…,
The beloved Dr Wayne Dyer has a great saying: “…if two people in a relationship are exactly the same, then, I propose to you that one of them is redundant…”, ha, ha, it always brings a laugh to my soul…]
“This is the way, walk ye in it…” intone most of the world’s religions,
Really? Why is it ‘the’ way?
We were also assured the earth was flat not so long ago, heck, maybe it is…, who knows eh? After all, The Flat Earth Society, is still alive and well…
The point is, more and more, we’re discouraged from being individuals, from doing things our way…

Me, I try and walk the path, my way,
Although, it is often fraught with danger and difficulties, it also often adorned with freshness and exhilaration,
Although is often very lonely, it is often filled with delicious companionship…

But, more importantly, I feel is to ask and answer: why, my way?
We’ve all heard the expression: no two snowflakes are alike,
Heck, if snowflakes know to do it their way,
When are we going to wizen up and be at least as smart as them?

Again and again, I prove to myself,
That unless I reach deep down and haul out something unique and singular, and live it,
I keep falling flat on my face,
Maybe that’s why the earth is so flat, all those falling faces, lol…

So, here’s to doing things our way…

hue-man

“…the Hue-man Family (“Hue” as in Melanin Hue Pigmentation in the skin…”

from Chapter One of Na’im Akbar’s Book “Know Thy Self”

I consider the ‘deity’ up on ‘high’, and I think of how it is clad in goodness,
I find myself wishing I had inherent goodness, I find myself hoping that most of humanity lived much more in goodness,
Alas, though, whenever I turn on the TV, I observe the antithesis,
And delicately, I weep inside…

TV, I catch myself thinking???
What was I thinking?
How could I again have fallen for the propaganda and brainwashing of the one-eyed monster?
Sighing, I pull myself into the now,
I start focusing on the paranoid, delusional and criminally insane ego we all carry within us,
A bitter heritage of being ‘human’, or shall we call a spade a spade and rephrase that to read ‘hue-man’, denoting an individual of ‘color’/slave?
Interesting that the status-quo have given all of us the name… ‘hue-man’…, ergo, they obviously consider all of us, irrespective of ‘color’ to be chattel…, or shall we say ‘cattle’?

From birth we’re taught that we’re inherently evil,
And that in order to appease the gods, we must throw the proverbial ‘six virgins’ off a cliff every now and then, or there’ll be hell to pay,
But, my observations show that there’s hell to pay all the time anyway, so why kill the poor virgins???

So, I start digging, again,
Oh, yeah, I’ve dug many, many times before, in fact, I’m always digging,
To remind myself of the inherent goodness within 99% of us,
It’s there, unmistakably,
And, after not too much digging, suddenly, there it is,
In all its unassuming splendor,
goodness within all of us,
Manifested in many, many ways by all 7 billion men, women and children,
mistakenly called ‘hue-man’…,
Manifested by a mother’s arms as she tenderly and soothingly picks up a crying baby,
Manifested by a father rising up before dawn, carrying his weary bones to work to feed his family,
Manifested by a man and woman holding hands meaningfully, as they rededicate themselves to each other anew,
Etc., etc., etc. …

No bitterness No hate

As the sun rises over this beautiful land
An golden rays stream in an warm the coldest hand
The owners of this country have nothing to fear
For their voices heard have not fallen on deaf ear

For too many years they were supressed by the man
Too be taken away stolen or banned
Now their time has come for their numbers grow
An apology said ..to repent their sorrow

Scars held deep from generations past
But their spirits are strong an will outlast
Through their beliefs an a history so long
Their future bright for they do no wrong

Maintaining their connection with the land
Spiritual diversity at their hand
A roo a brolga at their command
In sync with life their only demand

Their music their art amazing to be
So different, exposing a life once free
Seeping back through their spiritual veins
Nourished by past generations blood rains

Time is now not to admonish or expel
But negative thoughts we must repel
For forty thousands years this country they adore
An in under two hundred destructed as we explore

Instead of ripping up this land
Lets work together an try an understand
What will it take to save this country
To deliver it back to its people once free

To share the beauty of this land
An encourage it to bloom.. not demand
All fella's working side by side
No bitterness no hate just pride

Two birds of prey…

Two birds of prey… are hitched to my buggy,
One white, one black,
The white one represents the love that surrounds,
The black one, the murkiness that diminishes me, that draws me into the illusion…,
They’re forever in a contest for my allegiance,
Damn them, for in their own way, they both prey on me…

The mist begins to fade along with the cobwebs of the last dream…,
Awareness slowly returns to the Seeker-as the Seer[used in the sense of a person who sees; an observer] reluctantly recedes…,
Proneness, stiffness, blandness envelop the Seeker for the umpteenth time as he perceives the circling grayness drawing nigh…,
He is once again astonied at the bull-dog tenacity of the demon of mediocrity, and how it never gives up its dark struggle for possession…,
Resolutely, the Seeker summons the Seer and surrenders the seeking, he knows from ample experience that seeking is a futile cause, and that the only way to reality is to move to the seeing, on the way to life, the ultimate “illusory-reality”…,
He knows this academically, with only the odd scarce and sporadic epiphany here and there…,
The battle between demon and Seer, however, is easily won, the product of decades of practice, the demon ignominiously skulks away…

The Seer now starts courting love, the only lasting weapon,
“…what the hell is love, anyway…”, he wonders,
“… love, joy, peace…”, he chants…,
“… love, joy, peace…”, “… love, joy, peace… come to me…, cloak me”,
For this to happen, though, he knows he must see himself as the beloved…,
He rises, eyeing the black bird regretfully and sighing softly…, maybe next time he thinks, right now, Ms X is due in an hour for her weekly hypnotherapy session, and her currency helps pay the rent, whereas the numinous love that surrounds us has been a little reticent with its euros lately…

He makes one last attempt, optimist that he is,
“… guide me love that surrounds me…, guide me…”,
Whereas my toothbrush?

Two very different rivers…

Sorrow came uninvited to my gathering,
There I was, coasting along, in a semi-hypnotic state,
Blissfully unaware of my unawareness,
When abruptly and without warning,
A teacher called Sorrow came calling.

He rapidly turned my artificial serenity into a raging river of unrest,
This uninvited guest, who came calling at the most importune time,
I wanted him to leave, I begged him to,
I threatened him, but he was stalwart in his purpose.

Resigned, I began to look at him,
Too tired to do anything else,
The deeper I looked into his psyche,
The more I was persuaded that he had a pleasant lesson to teach me.

Seeing that no other options were available,
I became Sorrow’s unwilling student.
I began to realize that without sorrow,
Man’s soul does not much rise above a devil’s...

Sorrow forced me to look at things anew,
This in turn forced me to give up 'hard' habits,
Hard thoughts, hard words, hard actions,
Habits that evilly enslaved me, and made me hard and unbendable...

Slowly but surely through the seemingly impenetrable labyrinth of sorrow,
I began to see light that I had not seen before,
A light that beckoned of softness of heart, softness of thought, softness of action, and softness of word...
Could it be, could it be?

Before Sorrow came knocking on my door,
I was poor in spirit,
Sorrow began to soften my poverty,
And began to show me the road to true riches!

Sorrow lead me, through meditation and silence,
To oases of comfort and understanding and wisdom, and softness,
And to the meaning of authentic love,
And to peace of mind.

Sorrow slowly unmasked me,
I saw sides of myself that I was not aware of,
Good and bad sides,
I began to focus on the good and to eliminate the bad.

Before Sorrow came calling,
Time was fruitless,
And a blur,
Now, time began to have meaning.

I learned from Sorrow,
That neither man nor woman is complete without the other,
The black waters of the Rio Negro, meet the cafe-au lait waters
of the Amazon, deep in the jungle,
They do not mix,
But flow side by side for miles,
Courting each other,
Finally, they blend.

So it is with men and women,
Like two very different rivers we flow side by side,
Resisting the other,
Till, the tide of sorrow softens our stony hearts,
And like willows, we bend and blend,
Oh, how sweet the bending and the blending then becomes!

Dear soul, said I to myself, do not grow weary of waiting,
For one “night” when the lights are low and the shadows long,
You will look into the mirror,
And there beside you, you will see your perfect love,
Shimmering like a chimera,
Coming slowly towards you,
Hands outstretched, inviting you to the sweetness of love...

very busy

we are very busy in life
we have only one life here
so we need to fulfill our dreams
as soon as posible
and we think ,no chance to get
enough time for it.
need more time to reach the top
so we are avoiding so many things
happenig around us.
it means no time to waste..
we made walls between our homes
and even in our soul
its not nice to hear others problems
those we can easly solve for them.
we need more care and love from others
but fails to give these to others
we forget that , we are human beings
who can only give and get what they wants...
