LADY DE MORGANA

Trying to be supportive,
For a friend who is depressive,

Can also bring you down,
When you are not so strong!

Cannot ignore his plea,
A friend in desperate need,

My mood is affected by these.
If only I left him with his demons be,

Did an angel whisper into your ear?
Of my mind and soul turmoil,

You are truly indeed special ..
How did you know I needed someone?

I'm glowing in warmth of happiness,
Like a tiny flame in a dark room.

Thank you Lady Morgana !
For sending a flower to me !

Reflections

I've seen that smile many times before
An on many faces i adore
For its a key to new beginnings
Just learn to open to reveal new things

It takes just a moment to initiate a response
A smile returned no forbidden wants
Just honest an true an straight to the heart
No cost incurred a friendship to start

No searching required for it will just show
How well you transpire your internal glow
Warm an engaging access to the soul
Creating reflections your ultimate goal

the basket case

mortal, you're all over the place
those grassy twines all coiled
weaving your lines into deep space
our one-time oiled water, now boiled

what happened to the state of grace
that perchance we had lovingly sewn
hands now recoil instead of embrace
with rushes and grasses overgrown

the riverbank was rushed with Moses
pulled from near certain early ends
to grow and thrive under the noses
many who better served, made amends

as history and fiction swirl ahead
all together weaving lives interlaced
let's hope our intentions not misread
into a hell-of-a-handbasket disgrace

we'll carry on whether with potted earth,
or artisan box, glass jar, woven basket
to make this our home, what it's worth
embracing one another enthusiastic

FRIENDSHIP

Thank you friend for all the times
That you’ve been there for me
For giving freely of yourself
Provided unconditionally

Thank you for your understanding
When things aren’t black and white
For putting me on a pedestal
On the rare times that i'm right

Thank you for the shoulder
I cried upon that day
For the prolonged conversations
And meeting me halfway

Thank you for all the time and effort
The patience that you spend
But most of all I want to thank you
For being my best friend

Mes Excuses

I apologize for being remiss.
So many people have been more than kind,
And that is my reason for writing this,
To let my friends know my @ss I did find.

So just let me say I strive to improve,
To appreciate the work of my friends,
Who's words are so strong and ring with such truth.
Epic continues, the song never ends.

Just for fun

I forever roam and whisper,
deep in thought and oft times jester,
at all the things I see today;
Before me endless possibilities lay,
I never wanted anything else,
But to be happy and sure inside myself
and although I am not completely done,
I consider my race not yet won.
SO if you see me beyond this stage,
Know that I'm breaking beyond my cage,
of safety nets and without a harness,
in search of someone's loving caress,
But much more than that in this warm weather,
Before I reach the end of my tether,
Don't be shy and send me a mail,
and who knows if we succeed or fail,
But to test the waters, you and I,
you have to stop wondering why,
just drop me a mail and give me a try.

About this poem:
Just trying to get a rhyming scheme going here with an emphasis on the 'beat' and of course to make it fun. While no one can accuse me of being Shakespearian, I do try.

A friend I shall remain

"Is it so wrong to speak your mind, to be honest in your thoughts and to be honest and kind"

"Accept me for who I am for I am true and open minded, I am tired of being misunderstood, you make me weep, you leave me blinded"

"Be proud you have a friend like me, who will listen, who does not judge and encourages you to be free..I offer you words of wisdom, experience, I do my best to fill your days with joy and glee"

"Direct your anger and frustration towards me, it's ok, for I know you don't really mean it....sometimes it is best to reach rock bottom, for only then can you see that you will rise again, and maybe higher than you ever expected"

"I'll never change, I like who I am, a strong but sensitive being, take it, for I am offering you my hand....I'll not walk ahead of you, neither will I walk behind you, but side by side we will stroll, together, adding humor and laughter..Tears..they will be few"

"So trudge along grudgingly my friend if that is what you wish, I'll not give up on you, I'll wait patiently, your deserved life I will unleash"

"Now you will reap lifes wonderful delights, the smell of nature, and the worlds most astounding sights...This is what you have been missing, the simplicity of it all, and should you ever trip and tumble, I'll always be there to catch your fall"

beautiful things are outside your door

he ran his hand across the ancient wood
closed his eyes and opened his mind and heart
"What lays within?" he thought
feelings of deep strength and beauty, kindness, surrounded his air

as he chiseled to create the precious first carved line
a new life of expression was born
"yes" he thought, "I shall create now, what is within"

feeling the gracefully carved lines, after every one is delicately carved
all with meaning, a thread of love, passion, happiness
"with passion and aroha I shall pour" he thought

when he finished his master piece of pure beauty
he smiled and tenderly sat back to admire
"oh yes! one can still love and express, when my love is so afar"
He thought

He closed his eyes
smiled
and
thought

"For you my beautiful friend"

Dark Sunshine

Sunshine look at me if you can find something
Nothing’s there that can make you think
So threaten me with your burn light
Hate me with your dark in the night
Help me to kill the hopes I ever had
Leave me alone without your shade
I am an island with soft crystal ice
Quick easy melt burnt by your light
I am a nowhere land
Not a right place to stand
Let your shine moves on somewhere else
Let your bright sparkles for another place
