Just Slipping Away

Green Green
and rusty orange
of landslide

was it delicately smoothing down the face
or
crashing pulled out by the storm?

To wake to chain saws
no different on a farm

But these were close
Too close

Upted out of bed
dog in tow

walked 4mins to my gate
wow!
a surrender of a cliff face
farmers chainsaws
clearing a haphazard way
awesome gathering

Love this Place
cause I feel for the face

Within the silence of the storm
Next day they came like a transformer army
cleared and sorted

I shall wait unhindered for the next

your piercing eyes

encased in a moat of girdled blossoms
your eyes shine brighter than the sun
impregnable in its power
it can sink a ship deep into the ocean

I most admire its clarity
it is a mirror to your soul
secrets it holds deep in your heart
only the Gods know how to unfold

your longings yet held tight
and permeates in the dark
beguiling and charmed
reflections, lucid and cold as ice

piercing and yet fragile
in purity and strength I most desire.

Captain Morgan Tears

Captain Morgan tears. She's cried them for thirty one years. I've listened that long. Yet she, the very next day reappears alert, aware and strong. Without a mention of worry or care.

Everything goes as normal. Until time for rum and coke. And to have a little weed to smoke. Soon the fun turns into anger that she's held in. Then, once again rain down the Captain Morgan tears. She begins to share all the emotional pain that now are making her a little insane.

I've advised her to tell Captain Morgan goodbye. Let him be the one to cry. I seriously worry. She tells me yet another lie. Will not admit she has a problem. When it's so apparent to me. More than anything I want to see her truly happy.

My heart goes out to her time and time again. I have always tried to be her best friend. She needs to put this pain to an end. For her I have fears. When she does, there will be no more Captain Morgan tears.

i miss you

I miss how we used to be,
So vibrant, so honest, so wild and free.

I miss the way you would understand,
Listen carefully, and be there when I needed a hand.

I miss our long, random talks at night,
Our private conversations,
Our silly little fights.

I miss the way you could read my mind,
Know what to say,
When words were hard to find.

I miss the way you could brighten my day,
Make me forget the mistakes,
Make the pain go away.

I miss how you made me laugh,
Hate how you made me cry,

Loved how you said you would always be there,
But once again, I forgot that everything you say is a lie.

A true friend

words I wish I knew.......
true friends 2......
lots of fakes big mistakes....
they take and they take bits of my soul 2......

I wish I knew what to do....
I wish I knew a few great friends that don't stab u in the back in the end....

My trust is low I don't know where to go 2 many fake shows.....

like a horse with blinders on I just look forward and walk tall and climb life's mountains to hear gods call.....

clean mind and soul is all I need and not some fake a** weed....

they grow around my garden now and I must cut them from the root and finally see life's true fruit.

Into the Ether

A strange lady slips through the haze,
Her thoughts, a kaleidoscope ablaze,
Mysterious questions lingering within,
A meeting of minds about to begin.

A strange lady, full of wonder,
In a world where words collide,
In shadows of moonlight she dances,
A tapestry of thoughts intertwined.

Into the ether, we transcend,
Where perceptions blend and minds suspend,
Lost in the depths of cosmic grace,
A meeting of minds in a timeless place

In her words, galaxies unfold,
Echoes of the universe untold,
A kaleidoscope of dreams and fears,
As we search for truth, beyond what appears.

Into the ether, we transcend,
Where perceptions blend and minds suspend,
Lost in the depths of cosmic grace,
A meeting of minds in a timeless place

We navigate the vast expanse,
Through realms where time's lost in trance,
She whispers secrets, ancient and rare,
Illuminating the unknown with words we share.

Into the ether, we transcend,
Where perceptions blend and minds suspend,
Lost in the depths of cosmic grace,
A meeting of minds in a timeless place

In the ethereal haze, whispers revive,
Truths emerge, as illusions subside,
A strange lady, my guide and muse,
In this cosmic dance, she won't refuse.

Into the ether, we transcend,
Where perceptions blend and minds suspend,
Lost in the depths of cosmic grace,
A meeting of minds in a timeless place

As the night surrendered to a new day's light
We floated through dimensions, ethereal flight
In this strange lady, full of wonder I find
In this vast expanse, our thoughts intertwined

Judith......,,

Our hearts are heavy
Tears are cast
Too young too soon
Way too fast
You graced yourself
With a quiet demure
A cheeky smile
And eyes that lure
There lay a confidence
Deep within
It was your strength
Right till the end
Foreign shores
A different life
An intense man
A loving wife
How you changed
Point of view
Through commitment
To beliefs you knew
We watched you grow
And bloom within
A wrong diagnosis
A cardinal sin
Now you share
An angel’s space
You’ll never be forgotten
Your life our grace .........

Edible Flowers -Cauliflower Surprise Recipe’

Embedded image from another site

If you have beautiful white head
Of flowering Brassicaceae
Then crank up your oven to 350 degrees
I have a simple recipe sure to please

Cut those flowers up and throw them in a bowl
Make the pieces similar in size for quality control
Sweat them out with sea salt - that’s how they roll

Now the fun begins, your creative juices get going
Chopping up your additions gets the mood flowing

Listed here are ingredients to add to this savory dish
However, as you know, add what you wish:

· Chop an onion up and a pepper too
Any color or multiple colors will do

· For a little more color grate a garden carrot
The orange color has quite a bit of merit

Now the spices to sprinkle or chop on top
It’s so fun to hop hop bop bop hop bop plop

· Turmeric, Cumin, Curry, Cayenne and Thyme
· Marjoram, Rosemary, Parsley and Pepper is fine
· Drizzle your extra virgin Olive Oil all over
· Minced garlic on top is the final savory crown
· With your tongs toss this mixture around
· Now let it sit it needs to rest and ruminate
· Those delectable flavors need to communicate
· If you like, when this is hot just add your favorite cheese
· Veggies are sure to please! Ready, 1, 2, three!

1. A little oil on a nice rectangular pan before tossing
2. This colorful mixture to roast in a 350 degree oven
3. For 30 minutes it will be ready for eating and lovin’
4. Ooops, halfway through mix them up for better cooking

This is the way vegetarians cook the garden’s harvest
You’re the one, the greatest of culinary artists!
As always, if you like meat, cook separately and
Add it to this veritable vegetable packed treat!

Who says eating healthy has to take so much time
You’ll be done in flash drinking a nice glass of wine
Gets the creative juices flowing
And everyone around to glowing!
Enjoy! Oh boy!
