My invisable friend

I did not see you
when you came to me
touched me you did not
but you made me feel.
whisperd in my ear
yet you never spoke
dried my tears
without a stroke.

my darkness you brightend
my sleeping you made easy
my mornings worth rising to
you have given me reason.

i'm glad that your back
again, i'll never let you go
lost without you i was
my invisable good friend.. HOPE.

Say My Name

Say my name and

I will endeavour to be at your side
Let your tears fall loosely
Even the strongest have cried

Say my name because

Nothing will ever keep me away
Clothed in formidable armour and shield
We can keep your troubles at bay

Say my name if

You seem to have lost your feet
Together we will conquer the world
We know no such thing as defeat

Whisper my name so softly

Your voice will always be heard
Even when deafness steals my ears
Your voice will always be heard

A Friends Trust

A Friends Trust

"My friend do you trust me?"
'Twas whispered in the darkness,
Her head on the pillow...
The moon full bright, shining through the window.

"My friend do you trust me?"
Came back the whispered echo, as out on the back porch,
He stood barefoot and chilled,
The moon full bright, beaming down upon the grass.

"My friend, I do trust you."
Came the words, felt but unheard.
"My friend, I do trust you."
So said, so felt, came the peace,
Between the two who did feel and who knew.

Off the cliff.

It's different.
I don't know what i feel.
Like a safety net in place.
So scared...
but he catches me.
He's watching me...
See's me,
like the one I lost.
I feel connected,
my hearts breaking.
I want so much.

Its different.

My friend.

Excitement bubbles,in my stomach,
we bond by phone,instantly.
In jokes fly,new or old, like the theme,
we plan,our great wild,debauchery!

Our mutual message,is acceptance,
each other's fault,a source of laughter.
Full feelings,of affection brimming,
we plan our night,of full disaster!

No serious things,to consider,
we take each other, off the hook.
My constant friend,on the inside,
poised to laugh at,just one look!

And when its late,we've danced our fill,
I can trust in him,to hold my hand.
For our friendship's,heart,is pure,
just cherish,love,and understand.

"Scorpion dance"

Baptised into the depths of

not his world

a circled tail
a stunning view

mesmerising
to the mere few

a need of soul
as black as hell

crouching foolishly
to toll the bell

a gripping roar
thrown out to the stars

"Release Me!"

I beg of you
Snap off these bars

I cannot awaken any more
I cannot see where you are

but I shall

to a silken wrap

slip silently in to your spell

for of trodden woven light

the cobwebs

as veils mysteriously
become my sight

Bells silently hanging
upon that stinging tail

I seduce, or deduce

it is quick

sharp

without

fail

better watch out
gonna write a poem
it might not rhyme
for this i don't mind
don't even no
what it's gonna be
just know it's
gonna be a poem

might need help
my mind gonna bend
i'm about too break
i want to write a poem
but not sure how

wanted to write
just for you
love how you laugh
wanted you too smile
for a poem i can't
put in style

my mind gonna bend
not for a poem
i can't write
but it's gonna
bend around
your smile
laughter
will surely
follow

The Man Who Walks Upon The Fells

As our walk upon the fells began
A cool morning, gathering and overcast
A stately gentleman and a lady with a dog
We walked to the vale of Grasmere.

Trollers Hill and Simon's Seat
Dale's Way to the River Wharf
Beacons on high hills roused Ancient Britons once
The walks of early man

The fells of Lancashire and the Peak
The way of Haw Cray;
The walks of early man,
Now go down in history.

To the poet, the philosopher and the saint he writes
All things friendly and sacred,yet precious of their make;
Days of holiness, nights written of deep desire,
Self-reliance, the height and perfection of man.

His companion a loyal dog
He speaks of his own mind, man of the fells.
Telling stories of the ancients in the poems that he writes.

I find him standing firm in his own shoes
He values what he has in himself;
Not perfect, but just a man with a soul,
The walk has now become a journey of sorts.

Angels have whispered to him
On the walk that he now goes;
This is the Fellsman,
The Fellsman that I know.
