darkhorse555

sea queen

running deep
into the channels
surfing inside
this mind
putting my
bait out

inside out
smiling glows
hoping to catch
a mermaid
i give myself
whole to you
heart within
these hands
grasping such beauty

beyond all
circulating dreams
far away
into the universe
our souls meet
sparkling eternal bliss
where our journey ends
forever remains
in the ocean

every minute
always loving you
whom reached out
and touched me
a dream
sailing on
an ocean
blue wave

Diffused with superlative dreams…

I had such high hopes,
I was diffused with such superlative dreams,
I started out ‘riding the crest of the wave’ in life,
A virgin in potent waters,
I was adorned with splendor and majesty,
As I set out on my voyage…

Life immediately immersed me in regal company,
Although ragamuffins were also sporadically on the scene,
Balls and finery were my lot from the get-go of my young life,
Fear, angst, and melancholy and terror were concepts I could not possibly comprehend,
Every one enjoyed me, everyone admired and adored me,
As I viewed my fellows, I saw laughter and serenity and joviality and eager expectancy for better things to come, as we together navigated the stars of our new adventure,
I saw the nobility of the human spirit shine bright all around me,
And I thought, how blessed I was to be in such company…

Abruptly, though, something dark and sinister ripped open my young heart and left me mortally wounded,
It took me a while, inexperienced soul as I was, for me to realize the depths I was about to sink to,
But, I was among stately company, and although we were all in a weighty, sinking kind of danger, I expected the company I was in would fair well, they would share, they would with valor and dignity bare the encumbrance that fate had dealt us…

Well, yes, there were many things displayed that fateful and historic night of our ordeal,
I witnessed all the human emotions and conditions,
From a quiet acceptance to unparalleled dread,
From shameful cowardice to inspiring unselfishness,
Some went insane from the trauma, others rose to notable enlightenment…,
And, of course, I witnessed the inconsolable sadness of newfound love being shattered by the cavernous maw of the grave…

Yes, in one night I aged several millennia,
Many books and acts would be written and done in my name in generations to come,
And, yes, I am now known to the world,
As…
The tragic soul of the Titanic…

England mourns!

On the 4th december, the english heart bled. They mourn son soccer, yes football now dead. A game they birth, loved like no other. Ooh how it hurt, that death/blow by fifa. The soccer crazy english, obviously lost their soul. The fact now established,lost their football role. Fifa is the hierarchy, of this great sport. Did not need diplomacy, to give england nought. Finally that fateful day, english spirits were crushed. It's sad to say, but voices where hushed. Couldn't hear one olay, not even in a distance. While russian anthem play, she, danced and pranced. Now time to say, our farewell and goodbye. This our final olay, rugby our next try!

Comrades

Another poem perhaps
nothing from the Muse
and yet I feel the glimmer of thought:

As I ride the waves of time
There have been many lives
Reading the histories of the Crusades
I felt myself at the gates of Jerusalem
The excitement of victory
The sadness of slaughter and mayhem
Vague memory of a Viking drowning
in a storm unable to die in battle
of entry into Valhalla despairing
The end of the Celtic World
And the bitternsss of defeat

I shrugged off these morbid thoughts
And had recourse to lunch al fresco
A cheddar sandwich and a glass of beer
and drank to past comrades in arms.

The White Swan

Used to be lonely
No one would ever
Notice me
With this short hair
And Big Big Glasses
Used to call me
Ugly Duckly

I cried for years
Why would God do this to me
But i was wrong
Cuz God Loves us All
And Im not Ugly

Cuz my beauty
Was found IN me
But I couldn't see
That the Beautiful of me
Was hidden to make me feel

To feel the weakness before i go strong
To Have the tears and be so alone
To see the Darkness before the Dawn
I had to move on with life
I am what they call
The White Swan

Love Is

Love is the greatest feeling,
Love is like a play,
Love is what I feel for you,
Each and every day,
Love is like a smile,
Love is like a song,
Love is a great emotion,
That keeps us going strong,
I love you with my heart,
My body and my soul,
I love the way I keep loving,
Like a love I can't control,
So remember when your eyes meet mine,
I love you with all my heart,
And I have poured my entire soul into you,
Right from the very start.

Mirror Image (16 word challenge)

In me
You've discovered
Who you're not

In her,
You see who you are

Mirror image.

A new friend~~~~

I need a friend who along with time can help my broken heart to mend.

I need a friend who can lend me their ears, someone who can dry my face of the many fallen tears.

I need a friend that can hold me tight, someone who will not let me go until made clear I am finally alright.

I need a friend who has once cried, someone who knows what it is like to feel that inside you have died.

I need a friend who can tell me it is okay, someone who knows I am not crazy for feeling this way.

I need a friend who needs one too; I say this now because I hope that this someone I speak of turns out to be you.

I have twisted and turned and felt the whisper as the grasp of the sound of his voice so deep but secured.

To know one day our friendship will be more, to come as in hope he will be my only Valentine as he is the one.

He is my best friend, he is the greatest, he is the star in my eyes, he is the reason I will melt...

The greatest gift is to return my friendship, and make him feel my friendship forever so deep that the radiance will be strong and hard to resist to stop

Our friendship at this level…..

Collection of Haiku's

Eagles spinning down
as together they tumble
locked in combat

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The stars and the moon
together dance to the sun
worshiping all life
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The chorus of birds
rings out joyfully at dawn
celebrating life

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Waves crash on the shore
foam bubbling as they recede
back to the vast ocean
