The Journey

Upon this Mountain’s edge serene
Overlooking the view of a span of life
Fear not the fall sit close to the edge
For the view is not what It seems
The pains, and the glory, and the undreampt strife
The regrets, the mask, the sincere pledge
As the wind carries passing dreams
This too shall pass away

As the sunset of Promise sets to night
O’er the Horizon of what may come
Fear not the cold of Night’s abyss
Look to the knowing of a coming light
Reasons change, another day done
As if to awaken an enlightened kiss
This too shall pass away

A spark of divine perfection
From the womb, to a weathered age
That takes upon itself a firey blaze
Destined to be the great reflection
Pressing thoughts of peace and rage
Transcending self, the resurrection
This too shall pass away

Stand from the edge and turn [to pray]
Look for the path that leads back down
With thanks, take steps, love is near
Freedom unchained, will of pride broken
Awaiting you to change the frown
Come back to Center, the now, the here
The word of breath upon you spoken
This too shall pass away

Spells nor chants from all of lore
Canst not untie what you yourself bind
Lest you yourself untie each bow
That wraps the wounded view of self
And turn from the old, embracing more
In this that Love and peace you’ll find
Be here now, just let it, let it flow
This too shall pass away

And whence you lastly seek no more
Therein the droplets of rainbow’s storm
Those winds shall settle, a cosmic trance
The smile unable to match the joy
That pain inside, no longer sore
Drowning no more, the heart twas torn
Singing you to a new found dance

And though this too shall pass away
Giving fret to new things denied
Relax, let go, give in to swoon
Grace doth walk at your side
Carrying you throughout each night
Till the setting of the light of Moon
Births the rising, a rebuilt pride
Lest you find yourself, once again
Upon this Mountain’s edge serene
Overlooking the view of a span of life

Gone…

Gone are the years of her youth when she
Cared about Justice and Truth;
Sought after Peace and Providence.
Drank from the spring of wellness amongst
Those she loved,
Deeply.

Gone are the tears and the broken hearted-ness
Of a love gone stale, and the
Joy that paled, in comparison
To what it once was
Just because they grew apart,
Eventually.

Gone from this life…
Finally free of the pain and strife
That once weighed her down,
And often carved a frown
Upon her face.
Something a ‘smile’ can now replace,
Permanently.

Daddy why?

Can you hear me?
Your husband was
Much into himself
He spent his time
In bars and shooting
Pool
He talked about
Women as though
They were all whores
Then he'd go home
To his wife and
Play the same old
Game
Hello honey, I'm
Home!
Really..
What would that
Really mean? His sons and
daughters looked
To him for a morsel
Of attention
But their tender hearts
Were bowed down
By no response
Can I get a hug
Daddy?
No, I'm busy right now
"Daddy, I gotta A on
My test paper today"
Not a word
The wife is mixing
The dinner
The dog is not sure
If he'll be kicked
There is an anger
In the house that
Frightens the hearts
Of children
Children who desire
To sleep in the strong
Arm of his protection
But he left them
With the monsters of
Their imagination
"Daddy who are you
Their quivering hearts
Question"
"Daddy please! I
Need you for
My happiness!"
Daddy, can I stand
On your shoes and
Will you dance
With me?
"Daddy, don't hurt
Mommy!
Daddy please stop!
Daddy!

"You Know a Hurricane's Comin!"

You know a hurricane's comin',
when sheets of rain race against the wind.
When trees are swaying to the rhythm of the blues,
a rhythm that their own leaves send.
When the gator's of the bayou are diving,
down deep to escape the havoc above.
When Cajun's put away their fiddles,
their guitars and the Gumbo they love.

You know a hurricane's comin!

When the critters of the woods scatter,
unconcerned by whom they've been seen.
The Black Panther by the fleeing boar,
is considered as being less than mean.
The skies are filled with floating debris,
looking like butterflies on drunken display.
The tranquil waters, once calm and still,
are churning and swelling in the bay.

You know a hurricane's comin!

Mother Nature has her signs,
and her means of announcing that to come.
Just as an intuitive man or woman,
will also know when they're headed for fun.
As the unfolding weather tells it's story,
to those with keen eyes and a sharp nose.
So too, can the heart discern and read,
changing temps of sensual highs and lows.

You know a hurricane's comin!

Board up the house, secure the shutters,
fasten all open latches and locks.
Put everything outside safely away,
bring up the boat from the dock!
It's gonna be a mean one, it's runnin it's course,
it's gonna keep us up late!
This passionate storm of mounting force
is nothing short of GREAT!

You know a hurricane's comin!

The lights begin to flicker,
the air is full of mysterious moans!
The candles within that are burning,
set an ambiance of desire in the home.
Let the storm outside come upon us,
with all it's energy and force displayed.
Cause the storm of passion between us,
pales the power it's conveyed!

You know a hurricane's cummin!

About this poem:
I'm not one to write much about 'Sensual Passion', but I thought I'd try my hand at it while writing an original poem for a friend of mine that carries the same name as a recent hurricane here in the U.S.

The angel in my dreams

Touch of an angel that's what i seek
a beautiful soul that i could keep
mine to cherish
mine to adore
only one and then some more
a place in my heart
a place in my soul
the one that could make me whole
so i dream a dream of my better half
and maybe some day i'll take a stand.

Two people who never loved

(Intro: I wrote this poem in spanish language, i hope you can understand the translation in english. I accept corrections.)

There are two people in this world
which were not intended
to dedicate his purest love.

Two people who not meet
nor crossed paths
in this garden forgotten by some god.

Two memories that nobody remembers
two stories that no one narrate
two hearts beating away
in the shadow of a sad reason.

Two different skies
one is dark in ignorance and the other is shining by the pain
as one blasphemous in silence
all the anguish of resignation.

Two different yesterdays
two separate futures
two presents forgotten
and two people who never loved.

Campaign Speech

When I am elected president there will be no more homelessness
There will be no wage under 15 dollars an hour anywhere in the world
There will be no illegals taking jobs from Americans
Health care will be free and available to all people
We will go to Mars
We will give our children hope
So they don't have to take dope
Our educational system will be the best in the world
There will be no more illegal groping at airports
We will not bomb any more countries for profit
All drugs will be made legal
Our prison system will then be drastically reduced
Our national debt will be paid down
So the 400 billion in interest paid yearly can be used for new roads
Electric cars will be made cheap enough for everyone to own one
We will protect our environment and have clean water
In Flint and everywhere else
We will reward work by cutting taxes and no taxes on overtime
We will foster and sense of community and love
For all people everywhere
So that we can truly say not god bless the usa
But god bless everyone on this great planet we call earth!

About this poem:
I have been following Trump, Bernie, and Hillary. The latest Trump ad has Hillary barking like a dog. She actually did this at a campaign rally. It would be fun to be president, if you could actually bring about the positive changes I wish for everyone.

storm

the tide
Washes upon the beach
Drifting sand
Washed

Away by the sea
Diplaced
Carried corressed
Deposited washed away

Moving tides
Calm gently washes the beach
Exposed grains pebbles carried upon the oceon floor
Deposited
To nearest land

Gently the sea remain calm till
The changing tide the climate change
The winds blow
Vilante the sea ponds
Distruction rains

Vilante winds force 10 glale
Destruction gains
Till calmness restored
Once more

Restless Wind

A warm summer night for a little sail
Watching golden sunsets awash in red
A lonely gull lights on the starboard rail
With gentle curiosity wings still spread

Whitecaps rolling a wake rippled with foam
Steady while our bow cuts across the waves
Tacking now we turn abreast pressing home
One final reach let's hope the wind behaves

My father's hand holds steady the tiller
I watch smoke rising off his Billiard pipe
Coming into the wind was a thriller
Grabbing the mooring line on the first swipe

Now many of a'summers come and gone
Many restless winds to keep an eye on

Just another day

Embedded image from another site

Just another day
I woke up and looked around
finding myself
in the classifieds lost and found..

You had slipped away
just in case I took a peek
thinking maybe you
were playing hide and seek...

Today is just another day
reaching highs and the low
the wind will still blow
and the water will still flow...

For another day to start
this one must end
although my heart is aching
I know somehow it will mend...

Tired of being turned around
lost and found
why do you care
you are never there...

Anyway,
today is just another day
out of mind and out of sight
don't tell me it's gonna be alright...

Anyway,
you just try and hold on
tomorrow's another day...
