Closure

I needed to know if you were ok
I needed to know if you were dismayed

I was not looking to get back together
I was not looking to see you with her

How are you feeling, is your heart ok?
How are you feeling, put that cigarette away

I'm sorry I cried, but I needed to say
I'm sorry I cried, that day I went away

I needed to tell of that horrible day
I needed to tell you my world died that day

I am no longer your happy old girl
I am no longer your only world

You looked heavier, with no care taken
You looked haggard, tired and weakened

I still saw a sparkle in your eyes that was mine
You showed me her picture, it looked like mine

You said I was "your everything" at that time
You said you'd be there when it was time

Times have changed, and so did we
Times have changed. we need to "be"

My life is a mess, you're not what I need
My life was blessed, when we were "we"

I see a different man, a lost soul in a crowd
I see a different man, an old flame had gone out

today

Today I draw myself
That was not easy
'
Today I washed away my tears
It slowly kills me

Today I hurt myself.
It hurts less than You do it

Today I dont smile
It is easier

people help people.

Twirl of Matariki

On the back bone of reality
of laughter and fun

a smoking gun

reeling in all that is around
poor
yet rich
all the same I found

tattered shoes
slight arms of babies
given birth
of seeking spiritual ladies

is it so hard for many
alone and casted away

slipping unknown
to help within the day

Until we see such grief
without a family as such

lights shall shine
with only in the mind

much more is without
yet a silent held

of hanging chains
and sliced of soul

a greater many shall become
the silent soul

There has to more
we need to see

Wake up
Its me!

The New year

Is finally here

YOU

As I sit here I stare
The winds blowng my hair !
I don't really care !
Tell me do you ?
I wanna scream !
is this a dream?
I know the suns shinning brite !
Yet my heart doesn't feel rite
You still wanna fight !
Dont tell me everything's gonna be fine !
Hey !let me throw you a dime !
Go out! have a good time!
Nothing about you is right !
Get out of my sight !
Maybe I should hop on a flight !
Fly into the night !
Hope tomorrow
All will be right !
Hey Go fly a kite!
I'm gonna continue to fight!
Use all my might !
Gonna take a pill !
Take way this chill !
You ! A pill can not kill !
I have a life to fulfill !

my man

i was left to guess
my emotions in a mess
but what i felt inside
could not be denied

i thought he was the one
someone after more than fun
but without any confirmation
all i had was frustration

and so i had to wait
for him to set me straight
cos in my heart i hoped
that he, could want only me

~In Frescoe~

Measure of time, measure of thought, drawn out in frescoe so times not forgot, royalty civility chivalry brutality amidst dignity lapse on end of years, the writ of the word en tab en stoned wall to the place it as written in time was to stay. For the lookers believers the sandal'd it seen. We see them today, gleen'd story of mean, decipher conjecture in lecture, whats it say, to each is a story of noble thought stray. . .

For all those long years
shyness held me down
mirror you saw me
sad face of a clown

Wanted to change it so
but it would not turn
now I see the light
and I understand you

You accept me
don't reject me
oh how high your love

You forgive me
you help me
showing constant love

When people
misjudge me
you alone see more

My motives
my reasons
you understand them all

How good is this feeling
in the love of God
to know such truth
now I can see clearly
in mirror of your face

So thank lord thank you
wish that others saw it too
the love you have
amazing love
all honor and praise to you.

Don't Cry

Don’t cry,
There’s still another one last night that’s left to us,
I’ve got that one last time to whisper “you are mine,”
And only one last time these eyes,
Your eyes will look into my eyes and then a tear
Will fall by chance down on my hand,
Next day I’m left, I’m left alone without you,
But you don’t cry.

Don’t cry,
It looks like fate decreed against, it was bad luck,
We weren’t meant together, where on earth was I?
It took us such long time to meet, but, see, just now
I know I’m yours, and only cry, a cry of heart
I’ll check tomorrow, as for now
You stay with me for one last time,
For one last time.

You see,
Now I’m unable not to think, to dream of you,
Don’t know, no way to tell just how on earth I could
Allow you take away my love at time when I
Set eyes on you and then and there I whispered “yes,”
But let me say, please get me right,
Cause you know well how much I love,
How much I love.

Just know,
I’ll find you anyplace wherever you may go,
For you I’ll cover all the pages with my verse,
And should we meet in any place among the crowd,
You shall not turn away from me, pull off my road,
I’ll steal you, snatch away from all,
And you’ll be mine, forever mine,
Forever mine.

Indians and cowboys (for Jesse)

Howdee partner,
can I call you Jesse James,
a fine write you have there mister.
it's all good old name of the game!

from folks down Dakota south,
boy you got us talking all the way up north,
I ain't hinting and saying all that,
you got us where you want us, I'm just saying lad.

Now Indians and cowboys,
oh what the heck boy,
forgotten what's like those good old days,
you bring all those back with a little whack and bang.

Tis just the way we used to play,
with water bombs and toy guns,
county and woods and a rush of adventure,
bring the whole group of folks together.

by the way I've got news for you,
if you are the kid I've heard from the news,
there's a price on your tiny head,
A hundred gold coins and the most wanted!

even Billy the kid ain't tough enough,
to brush your name from tis page ,
I'll be waiting for you at poets corner,
for a western duel here at high noon.

you got your cowboy hat,
I'll bring my Indian Axe,
tis town ain't big for both of us,
its either you,me or the rest of the pack!

I'm known from tis part of town,
as Ancient Bullman the red Indian,
I've got Cafe to watch my back,
On your corner who do you have?

and when its all over,
we'll run faster than the wolves,
to take a frantic cover,
from the county famous sheriff!

they say he is Lightning Macduff,
and strike fears with his name,
always leaving behind his cuffs,
riding on a big horse log!

Good day, Ma'am is that you Miss Daisy?
Say you won't happen to know about my cousin,
She goes by the name Cherry bunny,
and she has a mighty lucky bunny feet!

Would you join me in Pow Wow?
with the rest of the family,
we'll do a thousand jumping Jacks,
while Jesse Will show you the ropes to Rodeo!

The King in me..........

He sits all alone upon his throne
Waiting to be satisfied
The wind the tide and the moon
Play a part in how hard he tried
His gaze reveals what appeals
A rise in the oceans door
As he sits quietly with anticipation
The satisfaction he can’t ignore
For in his domain it’s very plain
His riches are so much more
From the golden sun which has begun
To sparkle diamonds across to the shore
To the emerald sea and its beauty
Is the crown in the jewel to be
And as he sits there intently
His world is his palace you see......
