cupid shot the arrow,
letting love conquer my heart,
warm with a beautiful,
feeiing,
swept away by an emotion,
picked up by eros,
to love again,
opening my heart,
layed bare for you to see,
to trust you, will be my promise,
honesty playing a big part,
lost in a mirage,
a picture drawn,
far away in a dream,
an adorable beauty

It was a long hard job. But I was just about done.
The hammer beat to the setting sun.
I turned to look at the shadow moving by me.
Damn how can this possibly be?
With almost the last nail in the coffin what did I see?
Why could you of not been here
Before I started the first nail?
Well, it is a little late, me pounding this last nail in.
So I might as well not pretend.
Hi my name is b#tch.
Cackled this crazy witch.

About this poem:
This guy had been getting under my skin for a while. I finially went off and told him I would not date none of the guys there ever. And about the time I got done with my tirade I looked up at a guy that could of been as he walked thru the door. I had held off going off like that for a year. Why I couldn't for just a few more minutes I do not know.

While you slept, I could still hear myself call your name.
While you slept, I knew nothing would change.
So I walked around the house thinking, why not me?
While you slept, I called her phone.
While you slept, We discussed my pain.
While you slept, fire burned in my brain.
While you slept, I packed your clothes.
While you slept, I decided I would rather be alone.

The heart knew,
Before the mind knows,
The soul warns,
Before your faith is harmed.
The eyes shut,
Before your body is hurt,
The love dies,
Before your life is gone.

Be a giver, not a taker.
One day it will come back,
Whether it was real or fake,
We always get what we gave back.

Beauty fades, as a rose bud must die
Petals flutter-drop, scattered to lie
Gradually turns, to a powdery dust
Blown by four winds, in freedom gust
Nature's beauty, in love will remain
Leaves inner sadness, marks as stain
Time will come, true love holds tight
Emotions control, inner beauty bright
Look past outer beauty, if it remains
Gentle inner soul, life's joy not pain
Hidden deep, are human's fragile dreams
Accept love not beauty, in love supreme
