~~~Forever Friends.~~~
When ever I shrug off this mortal coil,
My broken finger nails to lose their hold,
On pallid brow you'll kiss the embalming oil,
And your warm tears shall ease my parched lips cold.
I wish you to know before I'm lowered to clay,
Our love bond will always remain unbroken,
In life not once did we our souls betray,
Fond words now to remain forever unspoken.
Should ever you feel a breeze upon your face,
I pray you now that 'tis my lonesome breath,
Such haunting wind your figure to embrace,
I beg you think of me ! ...but not my death.
I once thought of you as I kissed a rose,
Oh! How the taste brought you so vividly near,
I cry you do the same, from still repose,
A single dew drop fall....perhaps my tear.
I always shadowed you like valiant Knight.
I'd rip steel doors down with my bare hands,
Should anyone ruffle your hair, or cause you plight,
I'd fight strong to protect each precious strand.
Hold dear in your dreams, memories so pure,
So as to ne'er feel lonely, my beautiful friend,
I would for you this day, death hap'ly endure,
Our love sacrosanct, until worlds end !
battles of love
battles thought battles won amongst the great wars,
from blood of hell to the praises of the church,
from the middle of the streets to the room of a court,
from the abuse within the walls to the freedom of the outdoors,
from the innoscence of a child to the anger of an adult,
pull my arm this way pull my arm that way maybe i will follow,
struggles of parent hood through family courts to happiness,
is like a soldier of to war against a madman to all,
to arise above it all takes strong minds to loose all,
but to win the hearts of the children that you adore,
remain the happiest of them all to show them a hero like superman,
strong as steel faster than light and a heart ten fold a tigers might,
but dont be scared to cry at night for it takes a mighty hero to show his might in the hours of time when he needs a light,
hold on to what you have and this battle is already in your hand.
Socializing at the Winking Judge
After work I like to talk to friends
It is nice to go out and meet new faces
We can talk about the new trends
Travelling to Europe and new places
Age has no bearing
I like talking to everyone
People are so caring
This conversation can be fun
I am comforted by my mother
And I love and respect my father
However a new face is a thrill
Positive re inforcement is pleasant
Everyone talks about their till
this couple was married for fifty years
they tell me about there children
and their childrens spouses
The pros and cons of relationships
I am flattered they open up to me
and wish them well always
As I sip on my pint of beer
Relax meditate shut out the fear
Blessings and love to all
God bless the beast and the children
Come Gather Round
Come gather round people
Listen to my tale
Pay attention to what I have to say
I'm going to say this once
Might even say it twice
But there ain't going to be a third time
The sun shines too bright
You're gonna get burned
And you'll end up looking like a lobster
Now lobsters taste nice
Dressed on your plate
But there ain't no way you wanna be one
Now you know what to do
You know where to go
Out of the sun you wanna be staying
Now I've reached the end
Gone told my tale
If you want you can read it over 'n over
About this poem:
For some strange reason when I was writing this the tune to Bob Dylan's The Times They Are a Changin' kept running through my mind. If you feel like amusing yourself read it with that tune in mind
Now
what i do now
wander from room to room
sink from drink to drink
think from then to now
what i do now
TV on laughing out loud
pretending
everything is alright
what i do now
word games like scrabble
making words with no meaning
company some how
what i do now
waiting wondering
is this now
or should i wait
Succubus
Unable to bear the falsehoods-
the girls calling up
each time you came
to my bed-
I fled
and now I dream of you
knowing you are
dreaming of me,
knowing we will always be
each other's muse, forbidden lover,
witch and warlock
joined by a filament of flesh,
lover through the looking glass.
I dream of you
as the witch
beside her husband's hearth
dreams of the grandmaster
of the coven,
dreams of burning stones
that sting the flesh,
while her good husband
strokes her rear,
muttering words
of tame domestic love.
You are my demon,
the devil in my flesh,
the wild child,
the boy with eyes of flame,
the bad seed I took
into my body,
the infected needle
I craved
more deeply
than health.
On every seashore
I see you waving your arms
out of the whitecaps
as you drown
only to be reborn
in the foam
between my legs.
In every bed
you appear, s*xual dybbuk,
mocking my lovers
with your twinkling blue eyes
and the crooked cane of your manhood
smelling of the pit.
You are trouble, double trouble,
triple trouble,
the wrecker of peace,
but you make
my cauldron boil.
I dream of you always
as I lie
in the sheltering arms
of another.
I dream of you
as the condemned witch
dreams of her end
at the stake,
when, lashed to the burning pole
she will offer up her flesh
to become smoke.
her hair to become ash,
her soul to be carried away
on the wings of the air,
marrying, marrying, marrying
the final fire
Truth Voiced
You who-are the divine emissaries for our ‘Master-Teacher’
Pouring your Passion, Love and Faith towards others’… as-broken
Sowing ‘Seeds of Knowledge’ within a myriad of hearts and minds
Blessing individuals with your ‘Splendor of Ubiquity’
Poet's Corner Leader Board
As I eat my bacon sandwich
I contemplate the leader board
so many jewels await me
which one shall I first peruse?
shall I take them in list order
or jump about from one favourite
to another out of so many
There's M.M a delight to read
or café so droll and clever
Spartacus's love poems
TruroRob always a surprise
dear Joy her words so fine
Chrissie with fiery words
Martina never the same
Sophia a true delight
yes these and many more
I sit and sip my coffee
knowing no matter where I start
I will have un-endless gems
to inspire me through the day
About this poem:
every day we open the leader board never knowing just what will be there. Only knowing that at least 1 poet will inspire us anew. We are so lucky to have this, just think what poets like Browning, Keats, Kipling, Bacon, Longfellow, Burns, Byron and Coleridge might have written with this inspiration the mind boggles
Just Something!
Something thats constant, that
doesn't flicker or sway,
That keeps its own balance
in a masterful way,
That holds to the truth and the
way it should be,
not youth, but the vision to see,
Something thats stable to
anchor us to,
To keep us in line and help see us
through,
Just something!
I'M A DRUNK
I'm a drunk!!!
I'm a punk!!!
I tried very hard to aspire
To a love
...a "LAURA LOVE"
That was way beyond me
...WAY, TOO MUCH HIGHER"!
