what a nice friend you are

My Everything Friend

You magnify my happiness
When I am feeling glad;
You help to heal my injured heart
Whenever I am sad.

You’re such a pleasure in my life;
I hope that you can see
How meaningful your friendship is;
You’re a total joy to me.

"Opus Aviana"

An eagle soaring above the clouds
The scroll of knowledge in its talons
Wisdom comes of age

Ravens croak in the misty morning
Forbid your going...fear not
Some things cannot be known

Killdeer, Killdeer, feign your broken wing
For the sake of your loved ones
You'd give your life for theirs

Beautiful Swan youve found your twin soul
Lovers forever,never a doubt
Faithful until death

Chuck-Wills-Widow heard but can't be seen
The last song before my journey
Into....etern....ity

Tell Me

Tell me about you
Tell me about me
Tell me if what I seem like
Is really what you see

Tell me about our love
And promise me it’s true
Cus I feel you love me less
Than you say you do

Do I even exist
Once you close your eyes
Or is the darkness you see
The shadows of lies?

Push

Love and Hate, Twist of fate
15 years ingratiate
Hey it's time to play
Come outside or come what may.

I'm glad it's happening to you
There's nothing better you can do

Cannot stay, cannot pray
The world we know is not the way
It's time to say
Pushed aside or pushed away.

Held away the darker days
Don't look back on yesterday
Shades of gray
Move aside, or move away today.

Sing a song of what went wrong
Now you're here and then you've gone
Brand new day is on the way
Fly away today.

He vs. She

He saw a sexy lady full of class
He wanted to get to know her more
She saw a rich guy with a full glass
And thought, "I can make him sucker for sure"

He thought I want her for my wife
She's got all I am looking for in a woman
She thought with him I'll be set for life
He doesn't know me poor, stupid man

He proposed marriage thinking she is it
She accepts knowing her plan had worked
He is happy he found his perfect fit
She is happy she no longer need to be a Clerk

He thought he had the perfect wedding day
She agreed with him for once in this drama
He knows his friends envied him in every way
She knows she is the queen bee here mama

His reality came hard, hot but too late
His wife is no longer the woman he dated
Her reality is just a she dreamt to date
With her spending power she was elated

He is unhappy, lonely and mad
She is happy, spending and rich
He works harder to keep away sad
She has more time to be a b*tch

All that glitters is not gold that I know
But it all depends on whose view you see
Bet she would not agree that the statement is so
But he would readily agrees with me

The Second Book Of Job Revisited

Instead of working horseback and following the cow
I could be afoot behind the horse and following the plow.
Sleeping soft in a cabin, cuddling a baby, being a wife,
Clear water, and home cooking, a settled kind of life

That's far away, far, far away from the fix I'm in here now.

Here, my belly is my blanket and my back my only bed,
Stone the only pillow on which to lay my bloody head;
Can't even wallow a hip hole where I lie on solid rock.
No one to sing a sad song, no prayers, no soothing talk.

I'm so alone, so all alone, it will be a comfort to be dead.

A stumble on the rimrock; horse and me both took a spill
He's down, bad hurt and thrashing, beyond my reach to kill
To relieve his pain and misery, so I guess we share our fate
In this lonely place so far away where help will come too late.

And the relief that is my rifle is gone, long gone downhill.

Death won't be long in coming and I hope I face it brave;
That the pain will treat me gentle so I'll not rant and rave,
Cursing the God who made me, or blaming him for this fix
Let me mind, instead stay clear and resist those devil tricks.

And to the end, the very end, thank God for the life HE gave.

As clear and compelling as the clang of a dinner bell
Is the horse's futile scratching at the ground on which he fell,
So the buzzards glide and slide down a drain of azure sky
Studying the menu; watching, waiting for supper to die.

And bones, lonely bones, will be left, the story to tell.

Soon my Maker will be asking if I lived the golden rule
And wonder about my learning in HIS earthly mortal school.
I'll answer for every wicked thought that ever filled my mind
While hoping they'll be balanced by the times I acted kind

So the tally shows not evil, rather, fool' mere human fool.

The Weight of Disenchantment

People think sorrow grows softly pliable, becoming
faint like a photograph fading on acid-washed paper.
My bittersweet moments of loss are cutting-edged
snowflake stars, so frozen they burn from within.

I see traces of you, long after you've gone.
In the morning snow, your striding step
tracks sharply away from my door, then
evaporates like my cat-eyed dreams.

Disenchanted, trailing you, I
evacuate an impression left on
the careworn foundation of my hearth.

I can still taste your dark honey
and needing to preserve inviolate
all the frozen vibrations of love,
that numb me twenty times a day;
I crave the only cure, you, you, you!

I quiver, become a ghost-town;
with tombstones canted on boot hill...
The bits of your saliva, significant
on my unwashed skin and bedding.

I bend and try to smell you, inhale
deeply all the cells you abandoned,
as I wait in the dark, to be filled.

Love-----haiku

love fills up the soul
casting out all other thoughts
love can conquer all

love flourishes most
in warm climes of hot passion
shared together

flowering blossom
full circle has now love come
soak up love's sunshine

love's shadow overcast
hidden away from our sight
trust sets our love free

you my rose

i plant it in my memory,
for you and all to see,
open your eyes my love,
a fragrance ,
so pure and sweet,
to hold,
in your hands,
beautiful,
a rose,
planted in my memory,
you
you
