Goodness

I
In this dizzy age, on Gaia’s strand
True goodness raises barely a flutter
While the fluffy things of rattle and flare
Attract, but go not much further
II
But good is good and there’s a need
For kindness, true words and honour
For the earth is only a dreary sphere
With lies and doubt and doubter
III
Yet the golden art, in this vulgar day
Brings the cynics and the questions
And at every turn, with crooked smile
With thorny words, revile
IV
But goodness bears its own return
When the dross is long forgotten
So, be true to you and to all other men
For at the evening call, what then?

left behind,I don't think so

There are times when I need you
And feel I can't go on
There are times when I miss you
But time slips on and on
But time doesn't erase
That you left me behind
I thought you were different
I thought you were kind

Trickery treachery anguish despair
You were so different
Now I see you don't care
Hurting is hurting
So why can't you see
I'm human like you
But you refuse to believe

You left me behind
You left me to waste
You left me alone
In this cold empty space
These pins and these needles
I shout but no sound
My legs grow so numb
As I fall to the ground

Stains on my carpet stains on my brain
You're the stain that left me
But your soul still remains
My dreams are all broken
By the life you've destroyed
My hurt and my anger
These sick games you enjoy

Tears on my pillow tears fill my bed
Like a dark angry ocean
You drown me instead
Growing so tired growing so old
With one look in the mirror
I've lost all my control

My mind is on fire
I hurt everywhere
Paybacks a b*tch
I'll find you I swear!
You tore me to pieces
But that is okay
It will never be over
Cause its Me you betray

Empty so empty one emotion away
I don't care anymore
I just want them to pay
They can't feel my hurt
They can't feel my pain
But when this is over
So is this game!

Chinese Women

There's a website for Chinese women.
I'm paging through. All are pretty.
How many singles, lonely hearts,
without husbands! What a pity.

I'm sorry for them but how could I help?
I cannot marry everyone.
And if I could what would happen
to the many widows when I'm gone?

Nice paper-flowers, butterflies,
I'd please you all--one at a time.
To be just yours, for twenty minutes,
and going further down the line.

I wish I were rich to buy a land.
A big land would do, I assume,
and there we would all come together
to form the lonely people's commune.

About this poem:
I am also on a Chinese match-making site and in the first week I
received 150 plus admirer's letters. Poor women, they are so
desperate to get married (again). I wrote this poem starting
from the double meaning of people (lonely people vs. people's
commune, an administrative unit in Mao's China).

Words of wisdom..*

There is power,
there is wisdom,
as well as restoration,
enthusiasm, solutions, insperation, percerverance,
still the best thing is trust.

Truth, trust, respect,
that is what one needs,
however never forget the main word is please,
love is always there,
care, share and prevail,
if it falls apart just say thank you from the heart.

never forget the power,
you should never lose,
wisdom can be yours,
be carefull how you use it,
restoration you can gain,
if you let it in your brain,
seek out the enthusiasm, find a solution, always look for someone to give you insperation,
but always believe in self~perserverance....

Reminisence

In the midst of the night
Gone is the dark of the day
Dreaming and thinking of you
I am

Lost in your love
The lust i fell with you
Times i think that this is real
Memories of you touching me

Having your lips pressed against my lips,
Feeling your hands running down my skin,
Making my eyes close to feeling perfection
Making love into satisfaction

What World is This?

I
What world is this that honours him whose trade it is to kill?
And makes that ancient shame the cause and the Maker’s Will?
From whence come strife and row and the pangs and grief of war?
If not from man’s ardent lust, that vile and rotten core
II
What world is this that sees peace as the goal of boorish fools?
But heaps the utmost praise on him who knows not God nor rules?
And in that world he takes the seat of highest worth and honour
But his purposed work, a work of blood, brings sorrow and disorder.
III
What world is this that fails to see the image of the Creator?
And thus divides man from man, this one against the other?
And as his gory numbers climb, so his fame and fortune rise
But in his cruel and deadly wake, the voice of children cries
IV
What world is this that reverenced greed and brands virtue a liar?
That makes vice its conduct code, with no thought for the other ?
This is a topsy-turvy world; what’s good is now made wrong
But to the Truth be ever true, for we'll sing the Victor’s song.

My chemical romance

Now come one, come all
to this tragic affair
Wipe off that makeup
What's in his despair?
So throw on the black dress
Mix in with the lot
You might wake up and notice
you're someone you're not

If you look in the mirror
and don't like what you see
You can find out first-hand
what its like to be me
So gather 'round piggies
and kiss this goodbye
I'd encourage your smiles
I'll expect you won't cry

Another contusion
my funeral jag
Here's my resignation
I'll serve it in drag
You've got front row seats
to the penitence ball
When I grow up

...

I want to be nothing at all!

ROCK'S IN HIS HEAD

I knew a fast-lane dude
just a bit too crude
for the past-laid rules
that he never read

He didn't wanna obey
the society's way
with the moldin'
they told him
would hold him
so he revelled instead

If you don't wanna ram_bull-
horns to a jam, you'll
wanna just shout
then catch a busz - out! Cuz
like it or not, he's got . . .

(CHORUS)
Rock's in his head--
He's got Rock!
(Repeat Chorus 2x)

(Repeat All)

About this poem:
I wrote the lyrics to this rebel anthem for one of my previous band's harder electric guitar (distortion) rockers. "He's got Rock" implies moxy (testis/balls ; ) and of course the double entendre of having rock-n-roll in his head (and/or loose marbles free-spirit crazy?). Party On, Rockers!
