Hahaha Ms Witch that man pic was only up for about 20 minutes, you have quick eyes.
You know what, he IS Irish, but lives here. Scares me, the age difference, but I'm not going to be able to face many more weekends doing nothing. I really do not want to start something out of boredom, NOT a good idea.
I know I sound like a wimp, and I am trying, I really am. My RL email is now bursting with daily emails for suggestions from meetups.com but all crammed with older Scottish ladies who know each other and lose interest in me the second I open my mouth and am not Scottish. Spent the last feeling like a pork chop at a synagogue. The only bloke there was looking utterly hunted. Lots of activities during the week but they run pretty late and I have this horrible JOB thing to do...
Pedal, so have I. Been here, I mean. I hope life has a little more to offer. Sheesh, right now I'd jump, jump I tell you, at a friendly skype flirtation
Pedal, if I come visit you, will you make me ride a bike, or will you get a tandem?
We'd both look sweet Upon the seat Of a bicycle built for two ...
And yup, my bestie is in Vancouver, she's a natural butter-blonde. We used to mow 'em down back in our teens. And twenties. And thirties. Hell, we caused some havoc among the dads at my daughter's wedding last year! SUCH fun.
£372 return flight - hmmmmmmmmmmmmm - you realize Spain costs about a 3rd of that, right? And that my main reason for going is to load up on my legal allowance of duty free cigarettes (3200) at a 3rd of the UK price?
Crazy - women buy Ts too. Make the 3 minute one in male sizes, the 30 minute one in female sizes. Maybe they can split the difference. Hmm - a he/she set with 'we compromised' on the back?
Pedal, I'm regrouping before vacuuming. Refreshment must be taken. It is summer, and HOT.
The lawn is mowed, and now my neighbours can stop walking back and forth tutting over the way I am letting down not just myself, not just my garden, but the whole street.
I wish grass didn't grow so fast, and I wish weeds would go plague someone else, but no denying it does look good when it finally gets done!
Z, Cat, Candy, nooooo it is not a public comment! No point sleeping on those overnight, the blogs have vanished into history by then
You know me, always publicly polite. Well, okay, not always. Sometimes? Occasionally?
Anyway, I have decided to stick with the superficial friendship for now and keep my priceless advice to myself. What the hell. Just like Pedal (and Oscar) said, no-one ever takes advice anyway.
Candy, sending it is 99% likely to end the friendship, such as it is. Do we all have so many friends we can afford to blow one out of the water? But, is it even worth keeping if it is so superficial?
Well, I'm baaaaaaaaaaack now. With a boring blog of my own and a fable I shall run out later today or tomorrow - get ME, one up and one in the pipeline, I'm getting organized!!
RE: A proud day
Wow Ken you are a constant source of surprise. Layered like an onion! In a nice way
