1 more obscure blog...about the number of the beast

666

What do you know about this number?

Well, it is commonly referred to as the Number of the Beast.

What do you think about this....in modern times...

Women want a man to make:

6 figures and be
6 feet tall and have a
6 inch stick in his pants

What are we to make of that?

multiple personality disorder

If we look closely, every person in the world is suffering from this disease. Our personality keeps changing according to our feelings. When anger, hatred, greed, ego, fear, lust, etc. dominate us, our behavior changes completely, and it affects our life also. Similarly, when good feelings awaken within us, our behavior also becomes good. Our personality depends on our good and bad feelings.
If we could control our feelings, we can get a stable personality and a stable life.

Moving out of Washington

Once my lease is up in the summer, I'm putting Washington State to the rear bumper and hitting for Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or even South Carolina (leaning towards Florida). Minimum wage increases resulting in tax increases, as well as lack of payments of apartment rents by many during Covid has raised the cost of living, has made this place unbearable. Combine that with the migration of the homeless straight from either Oregon or California, and now I have to keep my head on a swivel every time I go outside. Heck, I have to do that at my place of work, which is the mall where vagrants have come inside to make trouble!

It would be nice to have someone come along for the ride, or maybe meet me at that final destination away from the Pacific Northwest.

Aside from that, anyone else wanting to leave the Pacific Northwest/California? If so, why? If not, why not?

Second Time Around

I was wondering about this a long time,If you had the mind that you have now,and you were born again, what would be your goal in your new life?
As for me? I would make my 2nd life's goal to be a Long Distance Runner

enjoy what you have

In wanting of what you don't have, don't forget to enjoy what you have.
What you have got very easily, many people do not get it even after hard work. So respect what you have.
In pursuit of a brighter tomorrow don't stop enjoying your today.
'Yesterday' is gone, whenever 'Tomorrow' comes it will come in the form of 'Today'. So only 'Today' is in your hands, how to live it is up to you.

Live 'Today' in such a way that 'Tomorrow' doesn't get angry with you.laugh

the power of words

Sometimes choosing wrong words can create a rift in relationship.
Sometimes choosing wrong words can lead to war between two countries.
And sometimes choosing the correct words solves all the problems.

Your tongue is boneless but it can cause more damage than any weapon.laugh

Beyond Belief

To get a good idea of what you actually believe, look at your own life.

if you hold to a certain belief, you will think and feel according to that belief.
If you think and feel a certain way, you will act that way.
Actions create your experience of reality and you get the evidence that supports that initial belief.
It is a self generating cycle that reinforces itself.

Now, many beliefs have been instilled early on by your family upbringing and the culture and society one finds oneself in,, but have you considered that you can change beliefs that no longer serve you?

You are actually beyond belief unless you say you're not, but that too is a belief and a choice.
If you say you believe in nothing, that too is a belief and choice.

Core beliefs have an aggregate of other beliefs tied to them which support each other.

It is always your choice.

How many of you let go of the past.

We all go though problems in life.
Its part of our growth and to become a much better person. I believe some times problems are ment to be as we are either weak or need to learn.
Its our chooses how to take a problem.

We can either live in Anger. Which we will only be punishing our selves and attracting more or putting the blame on someone else.

or we can let go.Take our responsability, learn from it and make us more stronger and aware.

I am not ready for more responsibility.

After the disaster that was last week, I did some thinking over the weekend, and I came to the conclusion, that I am simply not ready to be the one who closes the warehouse. It was way too early to give me that responsibility, which I told my boss today.

I relayed what happened last week, and I told him straight up, that it was way too early for me to be able to close by myself, and that I required more training in order to do that. Ease me in to the whole closing routine. I also need my other coworkers to play ball with me, and make sure that I take over something that isn't a total dumpster fire. By 4 pm, we need to have everything packed up, so I only have to focus on the remaining few orders.

My boss was very understanding, and told me that he heard a similar story from one of the other people that work there, so we both agreed that I need more training. Now, I'm gonna be trained properly, this time. Maybe in a few months, I am ready to have the responsibility of closing up shop, but until then, it's business as usual
