I had two shots of Pfizer, doing great, we're waiting for my son to get his schedule. Life here in Amman has started to have some sort of normalcy. daily Positive rates and number of deaths have significantly decreased. I went to the office and stayed their longer for the first time in almost a year in half , people can now walk around without masks, I'm still wearing one when I'm out there though

I heard after 2nd shot , there will be third shot..and after third , there will be 4th..eventually every 6th months regular gene therapy.

As you know this virus can evolve indefinitely.
The number of possible genetic mutations is greater than all the atoms in the visible universe?

I feel sorry for all fearful people who don't accept death as a natural event that occurs every second on this planet.

On the contrary, the acceptance will prolong your life.

I think the mistake is imagining there is another side. There is no reason at all for the virus to suddenly wink out of existence now that it has been well established it can survive outside a laboratory environment. So there is no getting to the other side of the pandemic. Every piece of mail in your mail box, every thing you touch from a store if bought recently (within the past 3 months), every person you talk to, every stitch of clothing you wear that someones breath brushed against, every thing you buy at the deli, your chicken from the KFC, your dog when he comes in. your cat, your child home from school, the virus can be lurking on any of them waiting for you to touch it, or breath it in, or ingest it. It is what viruses do.
If there are enough of them taken in by you (the number is imprecise and varies depending on the individual and circumstances) then either your immune system gets over run or they slide by and start killing your cells one by one. The beautiful thing about this virus is because it is new it initially triggers no response from your immune system. Your internal border patrol can't see them! UNLESS of course, you had the vaccine and or have had the virus before but survived. The vaccine provides an instruction set to your T cells and they pass the information on to your killer cells. The same thing happens if you survive an infection. Our marvelous T cells collect fragment, and keep a record of that invader's attributes then notifiy your future white blood cells so they know to kill it. But no past infection, no antibodies, no vaccine to force your T cells to make antibodies? The raider is invisible to your defenses and sooner or later you are about to be pillaged, and maybe burnt too. RIP

I read yesterday that there will be a third jab for Pfizer and yes, looks like it's going to become a quarterly thing now, big money for the pharma!

it's here to stay so I guess the only thing we can do is to be extra careful, keep wearing mask and dont forget alcohol and sanitizer wherever you go...and avoid crowded places ! How are supposed to go forth and multiply

It is okay. Most of the deaths are and will be the ones not vaccinated. Most of those here are such by choice (as opposed to places like Haiti where even the first dose has yet to be administered and probably won't be till the populatin goes down by half). In America most of the not yet vaccinated are Trump supporters and it is of course to the Democtrat advantage to have that be so. By 2024 most of them will probably be dead which ensures another Biden win. The current Democrat strategy is offer the vaccine while feeding posts and fake evidence the virus vaccine is bad into social media (as we see here). The Trumpies lap it up and refuse the vaccine and Delta will take them just like it is doing to populaces of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Qatar, etc. All goes according to Democrat plan.
