Laughable US Snowflakery

With the snowflake generation becoming more bizarre with their demands the world has become far too sensitive to these adult babies. Colleges have safe spaces filled with colouring books, play-Doh and videos of puppies to help whiney students overcome trauma they have suffered from reading or listening to lectures.

Halloween banned by many schools in the states as its insensitive to some groups, Racially sensitive costumes etc make it non inclusive.

Forensic science students triggered by dead bodies.

Literary students triggered by shakespeare plays

Theology students upset and triggered by images of christ being crucified

Some colleges have banned clapping as it triggers memories of trauma

Expectant mothers who maybe transgender are not to be called mothers but "pregnant people"

Minority students at the Uni of Michigan felt marginalised because of imposing and masculine wood panelling

White men should be banned from meetings, Black people and women should make all policy decisions.

Trophies and prizes are not to be given to winners of either sports or academic competitions as losers are offended.

Most of these are American, what are your thoughts and what triggers or stupid rules are their in your countries Colleges and Universities?

a thing of value

“Public education does not exist for the benefit of students or the benefit of their parents. It exists for the benefit of the social order.

We have discovered as a species that it is useful to have an educated population. You do not need to be a student or have a child who is a student to benefit from public education. Every second of every day of your life, you benefit from public education.

So let me explain why I like to pay taxes for schools, even though I don't personally have a kid in school: It's because I don't like living in a country with a bunch of stupid people.”

Good ways to learn Spanish effectively?

Could anyone please kindly share your Spanish learning experience?

I am moving to California and many people speak Spanish there so i decided to learn the language. However, after a few weeks i don't find much progress...

I am thinking of talking to Spanish people the way i learnt English but seem not easy to find a Spanish friend and people prefer talking in English especially when i am just total beginner help

I downloaded Duolingo but it does not help much.

So your comments and advice are really appreciated hug hug

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you guys angel angel

India's Daughter

Finally after being banned...it is now accessible for people to watch...the story of a female medical student brutally raped and killed by men...sadly women are still treated as sub-human in this country...no celebrations are done when a female child is born...and rape according to one of the guilty party...he said a woman is more responsible for a rape than a man...unbelievable to fathom a comment coming from another human being...but incredulously the government decided to ban this documentary...

Blogs #

I am always struck by how divisive the blogs have become and even more so when l read a blog
One day that stirs the hornet's nest up well & truly and the next day another apology for upsetting
Or labelling people ln a certain way.
Makes me wonder are they properly thought through or are people just rolling out the same old
Rubbish just to get a bit of notice ? thumbs down

The other thing that strikes me is how easy it is to take a blog down altogether as opposed to coming
Back the next day with an apology and not allowing comments (which defeats the purpose altogether).

Maybe more thought is needed for some people here.
It is grand going with the first thing that comes into your head but lt ls often better not to panic.wow m7
