A Summary of Your Case

I was reading through Track’s thread about marijuana legalization, in the forum. There were a few comments about the relative effects of pot and alcohol. I know very little about marijuana and it’s excessive use so I can’t comment on that, but I can give an idea of what you might expect if you let alcohol get a grip. I suppose everyone has the right to fcuk up their own life, but, with alcohol, that's very difficult to do without fcuking up the lives of others. wine

At first you dismiss the suggestion that it might be becoming a problem as ridiculous, and the suggester as a killjoy, even though it isn’t actually bringing you any joy. When it does become a problem you remain the only participant in it who doesn’t see it as such. Your worsening hostility is not the result of your “recreational” activity, or so you say; it’s the understandable consequence of being nagged about it.

Your ability to spot sinister motives behind the most mundane of situations is getting sharper, and your conclusions are often so preposterous as to astonish even those who have become used to them. The hostility now expresses itself in physical violence; although the damage done to the subject of your anger is usually less than the damage done to yourself by crashing into things when you fall over. You hardly eat anymore.

By now the scenes you’ve created and the arrival of the odd paramedic and police car must be making it obvious to the neighbours that all is not well, but exactly how much detail they are aware of must remain a matter of speculation to those involved in the drama; leaving them uncertain about exactly how much embarrassment they should be feeling. Fortunately for you, you are long past feeling embarrassment about anything. You’ve never been in more need of help, and never more determined to reject offers of it. When you can’t be lived with any longer, you see it as desertion.

Now you live alone, but at least you have family to be concerned about you and check on you; someone to find you when you are unconscious on your blood stained carpet. The hospital stays have become more frequent; this time it’s a broken hip, and of course, the usual detox. Unfortunately, cleaning you out can’t undo the damage already done to your liver and brain. Your wrecked body is struggling to deal with the infection your lungs have picked up.

The people who used to mean the world to you don’t matter so much any more, except inasmuch as you depend on them to run around after you; you are as disinterested in the devastation you have brought to their lives as you are in that which you have inflicted on your own. If you continue as you are, you know you won’t be here much longer, but you will continue as you are; although, in a sense, you left quite some time ago.

more of the same in the news

About four days ago I heard of another female teacher who has taken advantage of one of her students. Just yesterday, I heard the same thing. Thinking it was the same story, I learned it was a different female teacher. But, this second case was a little more sicker. The teacher was actually having sex with four of her students at the same time. It was only found out about because one of the students who was recording it let the video slip out.

Hmmm. I really do not know what, if anything I would like to comment here about. It will not be good. I was always told, if you do not have anything good to say, do not say anything. laugh Well....

The news reported that her husband was supporting her. doh Really? I wonder what sort of punishment she will get. If the justice system continues to be light with punishments for women, we can be sure and bet that this sort of behavior will continue. I am trying to think now. Geez...I cannot even remember the last time I heard about a male teacher in the news who was caught doing the same thing. Not with four of his students, but just one of his students. Wow...seriously, when is the last time you heard about a male teacher in the news taking advantage of a female student?

In my opinion, this is what happens when we remove our moral compass from society, in the form of becoming a non-religious person. You take the moral foundation away from people, all you have is a free-will that acts on the whim of impulse.

Now what about this female teacher with four students? Is she that difficult to please in the sack that she needs to have four different male "parts" around her? Is it just her that has the problem. Do other females have this issue? Is it in the female biology to need more than just one person to satisfy her? Am I getting a little off the main topic? sigh

Is women's lib behind this sort of thing?

I really do not know any of the answers to these questions. Is it just the way the world is....it is becoming the norm? But, no big deal I am sure. She is just a woman. The male students should feel honored. Right? I have heard those comments with previous cases similar to this.

I am not saying religion is the answer, but I don't think it can hurt when forming a moral compass.

How Much Did The Politicians Spent/Spending On War

I've read staggering figures spent by politicians on war...

India just closed a deal, spending big bucks to upgrade their military defenses...why didn't they spent this money on the poor? Food, toilets, education...etc? Anyone from India are more than welcome to post the estimate amount.dunno

USA, how much did they spend on Irag and Afghanistan alone? Any idea at all? I've read millions and millions, billions and billions...and worse could be trillions.

UK? How much did they pitched in for Iraq and Afghanistan?

Other countries?

This is an impromptu blog, have no time to post figures here but would appreciate if anyone could fill in the blanks here.

Politicians conned the people, specially the poor..deprived them of their human rights...and yet many are still blind and strongly believe in politics while the entire world are suffering from hunger, war, diseases, and many other afflictions, ain't that clever?

Wondering when the world will wake up, when the people will take a stand...and when that happens ? Will you stand with them ? dunno

Internet security and privacy is my speciality.

I spent 4 years in an internet forum learning about internet security and privacy, learning where to get all the best apps and programs for free, I have a media player that can play virtually any format, I also learned a lot about becoming invisible on the internet and doing some things that are regarded as illegal, a good VPN is important especially on sites like facebook because hackers are rife on there, a good VPN is also very good for preventing hackers from getting into your computer, mine gives out a false IP address, I have a paid for version of a good antivirus too, one that I didn't pay for, not trying to brag here but I thought it very important to stay safe on the internet at the time I started learning all this stuff, and I truly beleive I couldn't have been more right about that, the importance of keeping certain files stored on a flash drive is also of major importance, especially in the event of being hacked, gives you the option of being able to replace lost files on your computer after being hacked and the hackers simply can't get at it because it's stored on a flash drive not conected to your computer.

Would you accept a gene-edited pig heart in your body to survive?

To survive? If it's between living and dying.

When I read the story about a man getting a heart transplant from a pig it made me incredibly hopeful.sigh

The saucepan blog.

Yesterday, I bought myself this shiny new saucepan. So I thought what a great blog idea, a saucepan blog. where people can share their saucepan stories, pictures, and ideas.

I thought I'd start out with something simple, so I boiled a few potatoes and carrots. It seemed to go alright, so we'll see how we go.

Aborigonal Population Of Canada

There is a great sadness that a northern community in Saskatchewan...(made up mostly of First Nations people) had a shooting incident today at the local high school...4 confirmed dead and 2 critically injured so far...why?...unlike San Bernadino...this was not a religious extremist attack...fortunately the suspect is in custody...

Although the details are not reported on who was the attacker or why...living in the northern communities can be quite hard...but the aboriginal people itself have had many problems regarding health, employment, violence and discrimination...suicide is reported as a problem as well as drugs and alcohol abuse...

Here is a video clip of some stats about the current conditions/problems that many face in comparison to non-aboriginal people...

Is Spelling Still Important?

Apparently not. It was found that the sequence of the letters in a word is irrelevant; all that matters is that the first and the last letter should be correctly placed. This must be great news to dyslexic people.shock

Now I can understand why they don’t teach children to spell anymore. Why waste their time on unneeded skills? And maybe we should inform Microsoft about the new spelling rules so they can adapt their dictionaries accordingly.doh
