we seem to have a communication breakdown-i am not advocating any sort of reform for your gun laws, i really dont care.....i am plainly and simply saying, get your information (not emotions)then come back, and have an open debate

princess49503: no one cares about your 'point' because you don't live here, duuhhhh

my only point if i have to spell it out again is I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR GUN-LAWS, i just want you to all be open minded bout the arguments for and against gun-ownership, and please post them, so we can have a rational, intelligent debate, about the fores and against....but some of you have to resort to personal attacks, so it does say alot about your maturity levels.....duhhhh

well since you lived in Ga and all you should know he was talking about a county not a country. and in the last couple of hours I have seen people post links that were from omg the "internet" and that was bad or they were to old or whatever the case may be. I have yet to see you open your mind to anything other then trying to teach us yanks something. what that is is becoming less and less clear with every back step you take. I am sure that if you truly had no agenda you would not be here. and no I am not a psychiatrist however I do have some half a brain.

WRONG GEORGIA, this georgia-

Georgia ( /'d??rd??/ (help·info); Georgian: ??????????, Sakartvelo) is a transcontinental country in the Caucasus region, located at the dividing line between Europe and Asia. It is bordered by the Russian Federation to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, Armenia to the south, and Turkey to the southwest. Georgia covers a territory of 69,700 km²; its population, excluding Abkhazia and South Ossetia, is 4.5 million, of whom nearly 84% are ethnic Georgians.

i will refrain from chastising you about that

While I am looking for that article, here something.

Gun control is also not a success outside North America. The English and Aussies implemented expensive government funded registries and both systems have been colossal failures. In 2006 the British government reported that gun crime in England and Wales nearly doubled from the preceding four years. The violent crime rate in England is now double that in the United States. Australia saw its violent crime rates soar after its 1996 gun control measures banned most firearms. Violent crime rates averaged 32% higher in the six years after the law was passed. Australia's violent crime rate is also now double America's.

I am still looking for the article I read earlier. professor
