What needs to be done is to issue one firearm to every citizen over the age of 21. Cause the only reason our government wants "gun control", is because of the people using them illegally. If everyone had their own weapon issued to them and were required to get a carry permit, then gun crime would drop considerably. If everyone knew that everyone else had a gun, criminals would definitely think long and hard before deciding to commit a gun crime, cause they would know that the person they did the crime to would also have a gun and could fight back.

I watched this thread with more than a little fascination, what it tells me is that some ppl think they should have the right to end the life of another.
I have realised on my time on these forums that there are many differences in how ppl of different Countries and Cultures view things.
I have read this thread with both interest and horror.
As much as ppl who have guns, and believe in the right to have them think they are right, I think they should try to understand that those of us who have grown up knowing only death because of guns have the right to think it is wrong to have them
I have seen many a post about how cars kill and should we ban them....cars are not made to kill, they are made to transport us and sadly can kill if driven without responsibility.

I saw the video as something much different.... rather than having the right to take a life... it is the right to defend ones life and their loved ones. I couldn't sit by and allow a family member be executed... could you?

I know, and what I am trying to say is that I wish ppl would understand the views of those of us who have negative views of guns. I dont understand why those who agree with ppl carrying guns cant agree that guns are made to maim and kill. I am not saying everyone who has one will do this but it is a fact that this is the purpose for which they are made.
