I do not know about your country, but here it is our "RIGHT" to own firearms period, live it, it is real, it is here ,it will stay. We won't be giving up our firearms and if they pass laws to ban them then I for one will join the ranks of the criminals , they have them and so will I , pretty simple if you ask me , I don't really need stats or anything. it's irreverent what kind of life YOU have had. I don't care. whatever hardships you have endured does not detract from the fact that people have the right to protect themselves. It does not change the fact that Rebecca Peters has no right to tell me an American what I should and should not have. It does not change the fact that England's biggest protest march in history was to reinstate their right to bear arms. But you have proven that your idea of right should be brought about on the masses not my worldly experience or facts but an emotional decision. The_Kansan: My "source" says that it took less time to recuperate from the gunshot wound to my left shoulder than it did to recuperate from the stab wound in the same approximate location on my right shoulder. Both wounds were through and through and the knife did considerably more damage. My apologies if my own experiences don't fit the statistics, I obviously didn't have the foresight to have a statistician examine my wounds and prescribe treament. (I'll know better next time.)
