If you are ever put in that position again... god forbid.... never shoot for a small target... you will miss... always shoot for the torso... much easier to hit.

Their are some very evil people that would hurt you. I respect the view of deadly force only against deadly force. I also would like a peaceable soultion to end a situation but I would rather live another day. I would not let someone harm me or you or anyone else even if their point of view is different. Guns are a fact of life and they can kill you, the person that wants to do you harm also knows that. As Colt said it is a great equializer.

ok I understand what you are saying vonney or at least think I do and agree with you most of the time, first of all not everyone has guns here, also some that do do not use them to kill anything ,My son and I enjoy skeet shooting as well as fishing and playing Foos-ball ,so for us it is together time or whatever you wish to call it , and one other point is it is our right to do so in this country .Please understand this whole concept is alien and abhorrent to me.

At the time that whole thing took place I was quite new to guns and was just starting to learn how to shoot one.
