Sharing a situation that I have been dealing with for over a year on my property, I have had to put up yellow tape barricades across the front of my property to stop the church congregation from parking on my property. Now they are understanding where I,m coming from after asking in person, leaving notes and the Priest asking not to park on my front lawn, what finally got their attention was the yellow tape.

Love

Love

It is not as exquisitely and playfully done as Fellsman's, and with no such rich imagery, but it's my first one - like the first love it is very clumsy. But our first love stays with us for ever.

In the Dark of Night

In the Dark of Night

In the Dark of Night The night was strangely hushed and cloaked by the clouds scuttling across the silvery moon. The breeze made the night air feel chilled, yet her flanks were covered in sweat as she strained, muscles quivering and chest heav

oh whered we go

~oh where'd we go~

Did we go wrong somewhere? Or is this what we wanted to create? You only have the mirror to blame! Plain and simple, it is what it is. In case you wonder what I write about and can't figure it out. Then, perhaps you are part of the new! Here's the answer in case anyone wondered! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipe6CMvW0Dg

Close Encounters

Close Encounters

Abstract about how two items in the universe attract and collide despite all the forces that propels them away from each other...kind of like love and physics....maybe....perhaps??? :)

One Warm Glow

One Warm Glow

Much about rural life is living off the land..and in the forest there connects a winter's chore of cutting trees to a spring chore of splitting wood and stacking over a summer to dry...and then burning logs again the next winter season; as seasons wrap around seasons.

IM SO ALONE

I'M SO ALONE

This is a dedication to our dear friends who leave this corner and never come back, some of them even take their poems with them, depriving us of the pleasure of reading their treasures; this is also about loneliness in general – everybody knows what I mean ... To whom it may concern I wish to fill in that gaping wound in their heart the sooner the better!

Genesis of the Dead

Genesis of the Dead

A new 'vague scribble' for you all; a short-short story this time; watching the classic George Romero zombie movies over the weekend set me thinking- apart from some vague hints in 'Night of the living dead' it has never been explained in canon just WHERE this virus came from- no copyright infringement intended, this is fan-fiction written for entertainment purposes only...and please, no wars in the comments section-yes, i know it's a story not a poem as such, and fellow fans of the genre may well disagree with my take on this; why not accept the challenge of the pen and write your own genesis story?
