Trust

Trust

Most people leave us because they don't think were good enough for them. Most people choose to remain with us because they believe we're worth it. That alone should be enough indication as to where our trust and loyalty should belong. Because it's a tad painful when the ones we love keeps allowing those who chose to leave them mar our present.

A Woman's Beauty

A woman's beauty may well surpass her soul - A woman's beauty won't be revealed to all. A woman's beauty - for the man who sees it not; - That man will never see - that's his sad lot. A woman's beauty - only seen in glimpses- When two stranger

Twin Towers A Tale of Two Rails

Twin Towers - A Tale of Two Rails

9/11/2017 Update: The Memorial is still there with nothing changed. I changed the picture because last year when I took the picture it wasn't completed yet. Now the flag is flying high and proud over the monument! It is now the 16th Anniversary. This event affected me deeply as that is when I started writing poems. I had never written poetry at all or attempted. The emotions in me were so overwhelming that it started to spill out into words as a release of the pressure. 9/11/2016: My town is in the process of erecting a monument to the Twin Towers/World Trade Center, Pentagon and the flight that went down in Pennsylvania. This year is the 15th Anniversary of the attack on 9/11/2001. Highlight of the monument is the two rails that were underneath at Ground Zero. I watched them weld them to the top of the granite stones and became very emotional thinking about what they had been through. There is more going to be done on the monument and I will change the picture when it is completed.

If Superman was...

If Superman was fat, Who would he be? Maybe a pizza guy, Or someone like me. If Superman was sad, How can we cheer him up? Maybe bring a circus clown, Or Morgan special brew tea in a cup. If Superman was mad, Who can save us from him? C

Humanity's future

In honor of a world we once knew which will disappear because of our indifference and nonchalance. It's easier to accept defeat especially for those who are weak.

The Lonely Swan

The Lonely Swan

I have a friend who had a pair of Trumpeter swans but the female died and now he is one lonely swan. Not sure, but I have heard that swans mate for life.

Sailors In the Sky

Since I was a child, I have always admired the effortless gliding of vultures up in the sky. Among other gliding birds listed are albatross, eagle, condor, stork, frigatebird and seagull. It is a truly delightful to watch the marvellous gliding action of these birds way up in the sky as they ride the air currents. This poem is dedicated to them: the genuine avian sailors in the sky. (I have made some adjustments to the original to include some other gliding birds in the body of the piece).
