HEARTH

So I’m back home, now clock goes right,
While I was gone here reigned a hush,
And only silence screamed and cried
In soundless voice quelled by the dust.

Now it’s alive again – my hearth,
But seems as if its luster died,
Reminds old wizard thinking hard
Remembering secret lost in time.

It wants to turn the gifts of earth
And roots into the victuals good,
And give its warmth and sate with food
Me, weary tramp, now back, back home.

Fragments

Embedded image from another site

Frozen moments in time
Shatters like glass
A window of our exsistance into the unknown
Our destination of design awaits within
With a voice we will rise with our hearts we cry
Is it lack of faith or just excuses for lack of inspiration
For what we have and what we always take
But eventually like monuments we will whither and crumble away

From The Past

Wherever you are
I'm not that far away
If you feel my presense
Its 'cause my mind won't stray

Its kinda focused
On the things we had
It brings me a smile
An makes me glad

Glad to know you
Glad to have met
Glad to have tasted
No sweet regret

No ifs buts or maybes
Only life an its path
A journey of chances
All within our grasp

A woman like you
Put character in my soul
Enriching my perspective
To make me whole

DEHYDRATE

Pass quietly between the noise and the prey and remember the Peace that can be in the Silence. As far as possible, without lowering yourself, you have good relations with everyone. Say what you think courteously and clearly, listen to others, even the bored and the ignorant, also they have a story. Avoid loud and aggressive people: they are exhausting for the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you risk becoming vain or bitter, because there will always be those who are better and worse than you. Rejoice with your successes and also with your projects. Keep your interest in your profession, however humble; is a true heritage in the changing fortunes of time. Act prudently in your affairs, for the world is full of snares; but do not let that blind you to the virtue which also exists; many people fight for noble ideals and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Above all, do not pretend in affection. Do not be unique about love, because in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as eternal as the grass. Take good advice from the years, giving you a smile from the things of youth. Cultivate the strength of spirit, to protect yourself against unexpected misfortunes. But do not torment yourself with the shadows that surround you: many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond sound discipline, be patient with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees or the stars; You have the right to be here. And whether this is clear or not for you, no doubt that in Peace with God, however you conceive it and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the midst of the noisy confusion of existence, it maintains peace of mind. With all the alternatives, frustrations and shattered dreams, it's still a wonderful World. Be cheerful and strive to be happy.

For

For the words that never say
For the time that you missed it
For the moment that I wanna go back

For forgivness before you say sorry
For forever time I had been waiting
For the memories that you can only remember

and for the word "I love you"
is for you

Gigolo..

She said to him
you are just a gigolo
A love robot
you just aim to please.

He told her
I will wine and dine you
be your love and flame.

She said
all you wish
is for the price to be right
and to speak of fantasies.

He told her
I will make your dreams come true
fight the dragons
rescue you from the abyss.

She said
you are a lover and a knight
kiss the words of sweetie pie
love and give so much more.

He asked
have you ever been
with someone like me?
you deserve so much better in your life

You deserve me...

CHERISH THE MOMENT

HOLD HER IN THE MIST OF TIME
AS THE HOURS GO PASSING BY
CHERISH THE MOMENT
CHERISH THE LOVE

HOLD HER IN YOUR ARMS
LET YOUR LOVE BE KIND
AS THE MUSIC PLAYS
AND THE CHORDS UNWIND

KISS HER TENDERLY
TASTE LIPS OF WINE
UPON THE EARTH
WHERE LOVERS DINE

HOLD HER CLOSE

SHOW HER LOVE

BENEATH THE SKY

AND CLOUDS ABOVE

MAKE HER YOUR

PRINCESS

It's In The Way You Walk

Sitting here listening to the women that surround me.
Thinking life sure isn't easy.
One to my right is crying as her loved one lays dying in the hospital.
I look at her and say I am sorry and I know just how she feels.
You could have heard a pin drop.
I felt all eyes on me.
But it's ok because you see.
I know it's not easy.
To act as if all is ok.
Might be fine for you.
But sometimes.
What one needs.
Is just some acknowledgment.
Then there's the beauty beside me.
She isn't happy at home you see.
She wants another.
And it is making her all so sad.
So once again I open my mouth.
I am just bad.
Let me give you some old women's advice.
Before putting the cart before the horse,
You better think twice.
Before doing something you can't erase.
Please don't think by doing this.
Your horse will win the race.
He want come close to even being in last place.
If you are not happy with where you're at.
Go live on your own.
But take the time to be alone.
You see life isn't how you talk.
It is really about how you walk.
Sure you might trip and fall.
Get back up and go on it is only a stall.
Just heed my words when I tell you.
It's not about the way you talk.
It's the way you walk.

You Make Me Feel Good!!!!!!!

I got the car started I heard you calling me.
It's a beautiful day and I'm heading your way.
You make me feel good. Like no other could.
I'm a lucky gal found you when I needed a smile.
It seems like I have been looking only a short while.
And here you are.
Come to me.
Lets make some memories.
You fit just right.
I can't complain.
Some would call our love insane.
But to make me feel this good.
To let you slip by would be a shame.
So we're heading to the door.
I am holding on tight to you.
You want get away.
I'm surely going to pay.
Huh, what's that your saying.
Fifteen percent off.
Cool.
What you are kidding and they are also reduced thirty more percent.
Oh my.
We are headed to the door I can hardly wait to get you home.
You caress my feet and make my legs look all so toned.
I got to call my daughter.
Where is the phone?
There is a shoe sell.
Now really did you think it would be anything but a shoe.
That could brighten my day.
And make me skip this way.

myth of innocence

It seems like we've grown jaded.
That the past was more better,
more nicer, more innocent,
than things seem today with
all the hungry, and the homeless
the jobless, the angry, the hopeless.

But it is the myth of the now.
Our mothers, grandfathers, and
back beyond reckoning to distant
times, were sad with heartache
that time forgot, that we forget.

We imagine it as friendlier,
more wholesome, good for the soul,
a slow walk down cobbled paths.
A less hurried and harried life.
Watching mother cook fresh eggs.

The dings and blings of youth
today seem incessant and unyielding.
Yesterday's time was chalk hopping
rope jumping, and frog leaping.
But we've always been hungry...

For a simple time when truth
is given quietly and shamelessly
as a good dog comes to it's owner.
And love isn't so distant that
we can't reach out and scratch it.
