Is

Peace befalls
Dispells the shadows
Across his face

He seems
Silent in comfort
And stilled inside this place

I am
Quiet in admiration
Contemplating his gentle grace

He breathes
So silent, his eyes
A soft florid glow

Here
Where the time
Is but a relic to what we know

Grateful am I
To live beside him
Here where lies my soul

He is the moment
Resignation brings
When all is simple

The air
When it is pure

He smiles
Brings forth a warmth
Which love begets

Measureing thoughts
With a moment
A single sense

A divine
Perfect ease
And content

One which dispells
All unhappiness and
Is

Definition of love

Love covers all things and believes all things,
Love hopes in all things and endures all things.
Love never falls away and won't be rendered useless.
But other things will pass away.
Love suffers long and love is kind, so kind
Love does not brag, is not puffed up.

Reborn

Hidden from view,
Is the dark side to life.
You see only the good,
But it's there alright.

When the dark days come,
When you no longer care what.
So begins the end of fun,
But last forever it will not.

It will come very slow,
And to you it will stick.
When you're on a roll,
It can ruin you quick.

As time does fly,
It will get worse.
And as the days go by,
You believe you have been cursed.

As your life fails around you,
And you begin to fall.
You think you should just give up,
It's over once and for all.

As life is in ruins,
As is all you've worked for.
You're dead for now,
Then you're alive once more.

My CS Chat Poem

Mirror mirror on the wall,
as you watch us down the hall,
you try to frighten and scare us all,
we hope and wonder when youl fall,
when the room is cold and lonely,
this is when we know youl call,
some may answer some may not,
but this about you this ill say,
it doesnt matter if your hot or not,
please dont tell me thats a bot,
people come and people go,
especcialy if the room is slow,
very few peeps are the same,
even the few that say this site is lame,
we all post comments every day,
we should all watch what we say,
most of us come here just to play,
some of us come for something more,
and some come just for the fun,
this is a place to be yourself,
some days we argue and some we dont,
if you stay long enouph your bound to hear,
alright guys and gal's im outta here,
so this is my poem from me to you,
I really hope you all think its cool!

Distance We Can Manage

Maple leaves seen from a distance are lovely,
When, urged by undue desire,I get near to the tree
and watch the individual leaves,
I only encounter them in their wounded and torn state.

As we know the appearance of the maple leaves
When they are wounded and torn,
we hesitate to go near them.
We want to maintain an appropriate distance,

We try to stay away,
at a distance we can manage,,

True love is just here..but its hard to touch!!

War On Want

War On Want

Look at war, if that is your taste
and deny to me that it is a human waste,
not war of battles and killing and dying
but war of want and suffering and trying!

Because survival is life's only real aim
for rich or for poor the end is the same,
yet if this is true, why so much greed
when people grab more than they need?

While people like you and people like me
smugly sit on the fence and refuse to see
the war on want that goes on everywhere
simply saying "I'm glad I'm not there!"

A Question From The Somme

A Question From The Somme

“Could it be that if we were to write our words in blood
about a battle’s no man’s land within the fields of mud,
and so create a path for modern spiritual trespassers
to seek the many innocent souls individual signatures
haunting a country’s cold communal foreigners grave
kept for the silent lives Staff Orders so willingly gave,
would we not give cause for new warmongers to yield
and not practice their trade upon another killing field?”

when Is Friendship , Friendship

When is friendship , friendship
Can it become much more
When do you know that , that true friend
Becomes one that you adore
Do you call it love then
Is it friendships finest form
If love effects ones heart so
Can it weather every storm ..

PRESENCE

I feel your presence all the time
A loving feeling so divine,
Whispered love and shining eyes
My sweet I am so glad your mine.

So much has passed along the way
A journey so complete
You smooth a path out of the rough
My friend and guide, my hearts retreat.

I live a dream, my worlds desire
A dream that sets my heart on fire,
So when I sleep, a peace will come
To me a love, bright as the sun.

A higher view

Prod me with your loving hands,
Stir me from my deep impasse,
I long to flee this stagnant rut;
My soul, my prison, deadened lot,
Which end is just to taste Your wrath;
So let me on the narrow path,
Thorns and thistles may line this road
But it leads me to the mutual abode.
Lift me up with Your mighty hand
Above this frenzied earthly land.
Set me on the mount to see
What the world can offer me;
Till i see the vanity from on high
And earthly desires I bid goodbye
And set my eyes on you.
