The Killing Of A Dove

The Killing Of A Dove

Fashioned to enhance all that is beauty in life
carved gently by the greatest sculpture’s knife
this enigmatic creation draughted from above,
this woman prepared softly and made for love.
Soon tiptoeing in virtue before she naively ran
in youthful trust, into a treachery called man!
But when one man touched her innocent mind
his white office kept her young spirit confined.
For his peace she flew under a clandestine sky
until his rank caused waves she couldn’t defy.
Passed from that ‘top man’ to his kith n’ kin
their torrid affair was kept secret, well within,
by a younger sibling born with a socialite lust
in a political arena groomed once, then thrust
to wage war on antagonists who commit crime
then, to silence a beauty of the most sublime!
Who was assassinated in bed while still asleep
so that her diary’s secrets in death she keep.
Now, buried in an earthy nest of eternal love
lie flightless feathery tresses of a silent dove!

A Princess Rests

A Princess Rests

A princess kneels before her God
asking forgiveness for the hounds
on earth where she has not long trod
for selfish acts that know no bounds!

To satisfy a tabloid's editorial hack
bloodsuckers pursue two to a pommel
on the saddle of society's insipid back
chasing Diana to the end of her tunnel!

Now hyenas and jackels everywhere
hang their scavenging heads in shame
while the jungle drums still rumble here
those artful animals can hold no blame!

So, near God's feet a princess rests
in innocence dying before her time
free at last from life's parasitic pests
in death forgiving all peoples crime!

Today who will admit as to the blame
of this unprecedented murderous deed
should all society not feel the shame
would it be, had we not felt a need?

Yes

Sarah smiled
Her eyes were downcast
And she told a story
While her heart beat faster

And he listened
Patiently at first
and with tremendous gesture
He knelt beside her

She said:
"Truth lives like shades of autumn
Awaiting spring
Dawn's lovliest hours
Which winter brings

"She cried
Summer's fateful blossom
For she knows
The hours will come to a close

"And she lay her head down
Upon a breath of cold
For she knows
In time she will again regrow"

There he smiled
Wiped a tear from her cheek
And thought how beautiful
She is when she's weak

And she said:
"I am that moment of truth
Sleeps inside my heart
The blossom
Whose love awaits the spring inside you

"Do you understand?"
And he said:
"Yes."

Solitude In Suburbia

Solitude In Suburbia

With quiet pen ready for inspiration to appear
I sat, when a disconcerting noise filled my ear.

At my favoured window looking through the glass
I saw two men with machines cutting grass.

Forward and round as if riding an unruly horse
wearing silent earmuffs, charting their course.

Before my green eyes they undid nature’s growing
with insatiable multi blades malisciously gnawing.

Not only my profound concentration did they take
unwalkable paths in patterns lie in their wake.

While a hundred years ago, though probably less,
two clodhoppers would never leave such a mess.

But this is modern science working at its best
yet, inside its robotic clutches I am compressed.

The hungry blades find the last defenceless patch
then rumble off, hidden to slay more earth’s thatch.

Leaving my innocent empty white page glaring
up at me, my angry pen is ready, more caring!

Sleep

Dream
Dream little cerubus
As daylight begins to fade

Is not the silence
Inspired
And brings forth all manner of change

Sleep
Sleep now in quiet
The sleep that angels keep

As low the moon glows
Shining softly
Through the glass, its beams

Drawn forth admires
Over thoughts as fields
And ravines

Rest
Rest little sereph
As peace reveals her grace

Is there not guidence
Her hand the divine
A love that covers your face

A comfort
A warmth which desires
And covets all manner of faith

As now in sleeping
Brings alive that place
And lay thee dreaming

Lay thee now at rest
And be safe
Safely sleeping

Safely dreaming...

Desire....

The desire to be with u
It's like the flower who needs water
The desire to kiss u lips,
It's like the need to drink water.

The desire to touch u body
It's like the need to eat the food,
The desire to feel u breath
It's like the need to breath.

One simple question

Love? Love you say? You love me? Are you sure you love me? Or is it the thought of me that brings this four letter word to flow from your lips? Do you love me for me? Or is it the clothes i wear, or the way i do my hair? Is it for my personality? or is it just a lie to youself and I? A lie that makes you feel like your not just another HEARTLESS barbie that you present yourself as. Or as others descirbe you as! Oh she's so pretty, she's this she's that!" BULLSHIT. you are empty inside. And you use me to make yourself feel and look better. But im done being your puppet, I'm done with you treating me like a dog, giving me three words for a treat."I love you"!!! I am not your dog, and i wont let you use me. So i ask you this question again. Do you really love me? Or are you in love with the thought of me?

Misguidence

I changed my entire life for you, and you treat me like shit! I bend over backwards for you, becoming so flexible just to be able to spend fifteen minutes of my day with you. And you do nothing to spend a little time with me. I dont want to force this relationship on you i said. And looking at me with thos sinsiter eyes she exclaims that everything will be ok, we are going to make it. And yet you invite me over to your house to find you in the arms of another?

Liar

You string me along, feeding me lie after lie. Telling me I'm different than most guys, and that i dont have the same mindset as most guys. You tell me that I'm amazing, and how much you cant wait to see me agian. If I'm so amazing...so different, then why is it when i drive four hours just to see you.... that HE answers the door?
