RE: Trumps Triumps

Let’s see where we are in 10 years. The economy is set to overheat and you’re still piling on debt, going deeper into the red. My concern is that the type of economic growth you need isn’t happening, there’s a difference between activity and results and you won’t know the results for at least 10 years.

RE: Why is timing so important in meeting the right partner?

Sizing each other up. It takes time to decide whether you'll have any time for them.

RE: How California conservatives became the intellectual engine of Trumpism

I suppose electing Arnie for governor isn't a world away from president Trump, there's an over the top cartoon-like quality to these people and if rumours are to be believed Californians have anti-freeze for blood.

RE: Ouch?

It's a turnaround but not a dramatic turnaround. But you still need to take responsiblity for your actions for once, American politics will bounce from one extreme to the other so long as it remains never your fault.

RE: The Party is over....

Anything less than a full sweep proves you've got a lot to learn. This 84 different genders, open borders and seeming paralysis in the face of rising China are all thing which earn Trump an incredible amount of leeway.

RE: My Question Is........

Your daughter might be far-left if she wants to burn down the stock exchange and share out everybody's wealth equally. Otherwise it's common knowledge that the welfare state isn't generally safe in the hands of republicans. Do you really want to make common knowledge and the "far-left" the same position? What if calling everybody from the centre a communist backfires and posterity elects an actual communist having no real idea of what the far-left is?

RE: Cutting Back

Tesco offers free fruit which is supposed to be for kids, but I've not paid for a banana in over a year.

RE: BOOM! Honduran Caravan CAUGHT Getting PAID To INVADE United States - GOP Rep Sounds the Alarm

Common sense tells me 1) You don't need to pay them there's no shortage of people wanting to get in, and 2) This is a convenient thing for you to believe.

But it shouldn't be necessary. You don't need to character assassinate anybody there's no need to get personal and emotional only to say these are the rules and there's a reason the rules are this way. Age withers the testesterone and fogs the mind, neurotic fantasies worthy of a cat lady fuel your sour and guarded attitudes. You make a sensible policy look silly through paranoia and don't get even, get angry. It makes it look you just have personal problems and that there's no logical reason to tighter the border when there is. Your bad attitude makes the appeal to tighten borders look like nothing more than the attitude problem of the aged.

RE: TIme to WALK AWAY , The MOVEMENT

There's a limited number of pirates and slobs basically and therefore you won't capitalise further upon the share of the public you possess currently. These blog and forums are not winning over converts, but they are driving the faith deeper building that sense of knowing what needs to be done. Loyalty, confidence and fanatacism intensifying through the complete dehumanisation of the democratic enemy. That's what these blogs are.

RE: TIme to WALK AWAY , The MOVEMENT

Trump's a charismatic who can sell himself much better than you can promote him. There's a limited number of machiavellians and opportunists from your intelligent right who buy into Trump cynically and there's a limited number of idiots, too. I believe you've exhausted the market share of human raw material that can buy into this, and without the charisma to shift a terrible product you actually drive people away.

RE: War, why is it a part of humanity?

"rational" war is essentially the war of self-preservation, it's not literally a war to survive because war could come from any sharp reduction in living standards. The squeezing of the western middle class could easily lead to a war by accident without clever designs to meet the struggle for self-preservation. One answer to a reduction in living standard is to reduce the number of people alive, the other answer is progress.

RE: Question for plus-sized females.

For the sake of the rest of us please leave it to the imagination

RE: #Pink is the new Black

You just want to lower your price so much until some white slob or socially alienated weirdo comes a calling.

RE: #Pink is the new Black

Cheap and easy foreign labour trying to undercut our women.

RE: What are some cultural differences between the UK and US

From Plymouth Rock to the Appalachians we can easily see what we have in common with the American, but what went beyond mutated into hideous Gollum-like creatures.

RE: Turning it around.....?

For a liberal living is making choices and for a conservative life is to follow the way. Outside influences have a larger effect on liberals, the likelihood of encountering opportunity and taking it does not favour loyalty and stability or traditional ways of life.

RE: Wanted - Dimwit incapable of learning anything.

I Imagine the aim is for romance to be a fresh and entertaining experience by pretending that we haven't all been through this before for hundreds and thousands of hours. People are so shallow.

RE: Politics for dummies

Anyway yours is a good exmaple of the lazy cyncism and sneering take on the world of politics which encapsulates the gilded generation and that morbid Kurt Cobain waste of life which is generation X. They're both taking it all for granted in their own way. One thing that should make us consider that western politics is not so bad is any other politics in the world, 6 months in China would thin out the ranks of jaded dross.

RE: Politics for dummies

Not to completely slam the right because at the end of the day we're a lifeboat with an obligation to the people we've already saved to not sink the lifeboat. As a society we need that voice which says the lifeboat is full and we're not pulling anybody else from the water in fact we may even throw a couple of people overboard so we can spread our legs. But as an individual you don't want to know this person, you don't want that spirit being the spirit which raises your kids.

RE: Politics for dummies

Left and right is an ethical divide independent of party politics, political parties can change sides. To what extent do you believe in a dog eat dog world where you're suspicious of everybody outside your immediate clan?

It's right-wing line to say that all politicans ar emotivated by greed and self-interest and there's no hope in government. The rich have always defined government as categorically bad whereas the left takes modern rights for granted. The 8 hour working day, health and safety, full employment and some sort of healthcare provision make a massive improvement to the general standard of lving, a lot of the population would die without the government but they wouldn't know what they had until it's gone. Not so much younger people but older people have lived through an era of unprecedented privilege and prosperity which has become lazy in thinking and ungrateful, not knowing it was born or the horror life was before the welfare state.

RE: Women and men....Tears at funerals, soap operas, sad movies......

Well maybe if they lived a long and happy life and died of natural causes you would keep it jovial, but I can't see us here on November 11th sharing a minute's laughter.

RE: Trump and the Democrats

There's a bit of a war on for what the left is about. The liberal-left wants to meet Trump's national labour movement with international capitalism and basically double down on what they were before, we can anticipate a "left-wing" that stops criticising the gap between rich and poor whereas before they did criticise but they also did nothing about it. Or you might get a left-wing populism more like Bernie Sanders and Richard Ojeda.

RE: Loss in the family.

People come together in hard times. But that's the point, if you're glad they're dead it's not a hard time. I suppose the worst scenario is to have died wealthy and played favourites with a family where none of them love you, I guess you'd just leave it all to the cats.

RE: All Up in Smoke.

People are supposed to dropout of society not the other way around. As an individual it's fine to have no aspiration, but the world isn't there to tell kids they'll never amount to anything and will most probably be destructive so here's a lovely sedative.

RE: Girls and boys......rejection...

Women have their ways of showing you how much sleep they lose over rejection where transparent and one-dimensional man clearly demonstrates the dignity he's lost.

RE: Why Obama deserves a little credit for the Trump Boom, and why the Democrats will never admit it

Your growth just comes too easy terrifyingly reminiscent of New Labour and Tony Blair, or Bill Clinton. What you're doing shouldn't be easy, if it's done right. I do support the attempt to re-balance global trade but not if you're on steroids at the same time and not at the expense of all other considerations. The environment for example, something's happening to our planet and it's not a communist plot.

RE: Wow ! From a senior Trump official published yesterday in The NY Times

Nobody who isn't a malign influence on the world will vouch for Trump's character as a man and every word of this is believable. I can imagine underlings in the White House holding Trump back from the brink of insanity like Smithers and Mr Burns.

RE: My 2 Weeks Behind The Iron Curtain

I hope it makes you realise that the American Left are not communist and that could be you one day stagnating behind a big wall. America invents dollars and expect others people stuff in return, and I think Trump knows that America could squeeze more out of the world. I believe the almighty dollar hasn't got long to live anyway, but if nothing else what happens after Trump dies?

RE: NFL is back and I am watching

Why would you pick hedonism.. this could be the first time you do something honourable in life and possible the last chance to do so. Being old you'll be dead soon anyway you should be thinking about your soul.
