I don't actually think Di was as much as a poor wee soul as she made out either to be honest. I'm not saying we should treat Ami Winehouse as some poor forlorn victim but I would regard myself as a poor specimen of a human being if I didn't see the tragedy of someone dying so young. It could my own wee niece tomorrow.
Perhaps some of us have personal experience with ourselves or our families which means we aren't just voicing opinions. I do honestly hope that it doesn't come to your own door. You have absolutely no idea.

Magnetic fields and electro magnetic radiation including X rays and radio waves all fit into your rules along with the humble electron but we do not doubt there existence. Look up at the sky on a starry night. All these stars are different distances away so you are seeing each at a different time in its past. The star on the left could be 2 light years away and the one on the right could be 8. The star in the middle may no longer exist at all. So what your eyes are telling you is not actually true and never was.
So because our senses are only equipped to a very limited input, we really are ill equipped to make absolute decisions and analysis! There are more things in heaven and earth......

I think a better discussion would be, does the soul exist? If it does then by definition, it cannot die. If it doesn't then we are all just a collection of atoms formed randomly after the big bang which we physically return to after death. The second of these leaves me wondering why we bother advancing as a species. Why do we bother curing illnesses or educating ourselves. In that scenario, life begins as nothing and ends as nothing and you can quote all the philosophers you like. Their opinion is no more or less valid than my own which is that the soul/spirit is eternal and is only too eager to escape the restraints of this life at times.
There's an awful lot of sitting around involved so the €120 can equate to 12-14 hours. You need to be there from early morning till late at night and you can be bused out to the middle of nowhere for the day, all for a 3 second shot of your hands in cuffs or a blurred image of you talking to someone in the background of a wedding or a funeral.
And there aren't many extras who end up becoming stars I'm afraid! The contract assures that it's a one off payment with no repeat fees and you can be months between calls. So I'm afraid it's not as exiting as it sounds.
