I saw a headline today about the Koch brothers and thought... didn't one of them die? Yes, David passed away in 2019 with his cause of death listed as cancer. Charles is alive and I believe there is/was a 3rd brother. Anyway, the story goes on to say they are the most powerful machine in conservative politics and currently switched gears and not supporting Trump with a NeverTrump effort to deny him the republican party nomination for 2024 presidential election.
Knowing this, would Trump launch his own political party for the upcoming presidential election and if so, would he have a chance against Ron DeSantis who appears to be focused on the White House as his next stop?

One of the constituents of nuclear fusion is helium-3. This material is rare on this planet, but apparently is abundant on the moon. Nuclear fusion is what makes the sun function. The challenge is to recreate this form of energy and in doing so, could produce a cleaner and environmentally friendly and constant source of power. Research is advancing on this energy, but you can understand why some countries find reaching the moon important. Mining for helium-3 is no doubt a big objective.

A few blocks east of me is a hospital. I can hear ambulances on their way to the Emergency Room. I can also hear them blowing their horns when someone is blocking their path to the hospital.
Less than a mile west of me is a fire station. If my windows are open, I can hear paramedics and fire trucks leaving the station. I can also hear when they blow their horns to alert cars to GET OUT OF THE WAY!

Last week, I was passing the fire station when the large ladder truck started pulling out. It's a 6-lane divided highway with a cement/grass center median. The traffic signal changes to red. I stopped and cars around me continued to run the red light ignoring the siren, lights and horn of the fire truck.

Today, a block from the hospital, cars in the turn lane refused to stop and allow an ambulance to get through the intersection that was coming from a different direction. Forget the siren and horn... these drivers didn't allow the ambulance legal right-of-way. I could see the ambulance having to wait (again) for cars not giving access to the hospital.

To say this is bad is an understatement. I don't know what it's like in your city. I thought Miami (50 miles south) was bad, Palm Beach appears to have taken the lead of bad drivers.

I'm sure there are laws for blocking emergency vehicles, but you have to have police watching and not busy escorting the ambulance to the ER.

That’s why, all that is coming, it is unspeakable, unbearable, and unconceivable. One can not talk upon things who does not comprehend, and just by talking about these, it’s an act of lack of knowledge. Technically true. I was with friends at the park flying model aircraft and the moon was in view in the western sky. I was doing loops with the moon in the background so it appeared that I was flying 'around' the moon.
The weather was awesome, with big puffy clouds and a slight breeze.
I did some screen shots from a video so the images aren't perfect, but it's enough to see a large bird that got into the movie!

Ronnie Wiggs couldn't afford his wife's medical bills. So he killed her while she was in the hospital. Now, he's facing a second degree murder charge for strangling his wife as she was lying in a hospital bed over the weekend.

Good job... yes? Actually it's not the first time. The 2 other times he failed.

That saying "The third times a charm" really worked for him.

Now the medical bills aren't so important as he'll probably spend lots of time in prison.
