Even If The World Would End Tomorrow

Even if the world would end tomorrow
I’d never leave you come what may
Wherever you are that where I will go
North South East or West I will find the way
++-----++-----++
I’d want to spend the rest of my time
To cherish the gentle warmth of your arms
I’d let our love becomes as one rhyme
I’d let you captivate me by your charms
++-----++-----++
I'd place my soft kiss and hold you near
I’d stare into your eyes ‘till its shine
When my heart skips a beat you'll hear
"I love you, I am yours and you are mine."
++-----++-----++
I don't care if the world ends tomorrow
With you, Heaven or Hell I'd love to go
++-----++-----++

The Twelve Bottles of Te Bheag Whiskey

I had 12 bottles of Te Bheag in my cellar and my wife told me to pour each and every one down the sink, or else!....

I said I would, and proceeded with the task. I withdrew the cork from the first bottle and poured the contents down the sink, with the exception of one glass, which I drank. I extracted the cork from the second bottle and did likewise with the exception of one glass, which I drank. I pulled the cork from the third bottle and poured the Te Bheag down the sink which I drank. I pulled the cork from the fourth bottle down the sink, and poured the Te Bheag down the glass which I drank. Then I pulled the bottle from the cork and drank one sink out of it, and threw the rest down the glass. I corked the sink out of the next glass and poured the cork down the bottle. I corked the sink with the glass, bottled the drink and drank the pour. Then I had everything emptied. I steadied the house with one hand and counted the glasses, corks and bottles with the other, which were 29, and as the house came by I counted them again and finally had all the houses in one bottle, which I drank.

I am not under the affluence of incohol as some tinkle peep I am. I am not half so thunk as you might drink I fool so feelish. I don't know who is me, and the drunker I stand here the longer I get.

The Emotions Behind A Friend Request

yes i have sent u a friend REQUEST

its been sent to u after a long QUEST

u dont know how much time i have INVEST

to see its accepted or not i cant REST

my profile is not good i know i am not the BEST

but why u consider me like a PEST

its a simple thing but dont know why cant u DIGEST

seeing my proposal rejected i feel a pain in my CHEST

i dont think that its a nice way to treat ur GUEST

i know i am not that MODEST

but my dear i am very HONEST

and that you can TEST

for u i could have been a loyal friend to HARVEST

but now u have declnied and i cant PROTEST

i can just SUGGEST

that dont judge a person by only his face CREST

even a face like me can have a heart which is GREATEST

Love Is Like Fire

Love Is Like Fire

Fire is like love and love is like fire

It burns within us taking us higher

Burning brightly, blazing away

Alive and growing every day

This is where Heaven is on Earth

Found in your arms is love's worth

A raging inferno that burns our soul

Melting us into one, making us whole

Flying on these magical flaming wings

To where a choir of angels sings

Far far away to our own secret place

Where we share our fire's blazing grace

As long as we two are together

This fire inside us will burn forever

A flower/woman

Embedded image from another site

A flower has a special beauty each one unique,
A flower has delicate petals that appear soft and fragile,
A flower is made to withstand strong winds and rain, and to bend with the elements of nature, made to go with the flow and not to break unless cut or ripped out.

A flower lives to give beauty, pleasure and add a gentleness,
A flower lives to give nature a way to grow and flourish, it makes the world a sweeter place.

And when she dies, a flower is replaced with another she helped make with the seeds she held, and so she lives on.

About this poem:
was just thinking how alike we are to a flower, but only in some ways:-)

Holds Michaels hand and watches the wind blow the petals over the field,
rests on his shoulder and feels safe.

NOT THE PERFECT WOMAN

Here we are again on the date site
Maybe we will find our mate tonight
Excitement and anticipation building
We flip through profiles and find it discouraging

You want the woman who is the perfect weight
She has to be perfect to be your mate
Love to travel, camp, snuggle and sexy kisser
And oh she has to be a great fisher

It’s enough to make a girl feel discouraged and a failure
To go on looking everyday takes more and more courage
All she wants is for someone to love her as she is
Not a super model with lipstick that can’t be kissed

So be careful guys for what you ask for
Less maybe best instead of more and more
Yes the chemistry must be there
But we are not all blondes and perfect – so be fair

Do you want someone whose hair cannot be messed
Or someone who loves you and thinks you’re the best
Someone who ends up a nightmare instead of a dream
Or a best friend who could help and play on your team

Another night and again we girls look with hope in our heart
That the one guy right for us will see how wonderful we are
That he will look for the true person behind the face
Not just all sugar, spice and lace

About this poem:
2/18/2020: Beware! There is a troll loose in the the CS poetry section.

Reading all the guys profiles, it seems like that they all want a wonder woman who likes to do all the things they like to do (guy things)and she needs to look like a supermodel to boot.

Oh well - I must admit we women too fantasize on our perfect man - but if the chemistry is there - I believe the chemistry is what makes the person perfect in OUR eyes. However, people can be false and leer you in with that chemistry and you don't realize it until it's too late.

I'm the jealous one now...

...***...*...***...*...***...*...***...

Would you laugh if I told you that…
I’m jealous of your headphone?
I’m jealous of your mobile phone?
I’m even jealous of its ringtone?!

...***...*...***...*...***...*...***...

I’m the jealous one now.
I just can’t help it,
I don’t know how.
I know I’m the jealous one.
And I know I’m not the bad one.

...***...*...***...*...***...*...***...

I’m jealous of everything that’s close to you.
Your headphone's close to your ears and hair,
I’m so far away, you see, it’s unfair!
Your mobile phone's in your hands, you hold it.
When I long for your hugs,
You never know how much I need it!
Most of all,
I’m jealous of its ringtone.
Wish I could sing you a song,
When you're alone.

...***...*...***...*...***...*...***...

I’m the jealous one now.
I just can’t help it,
I don’t know how.
I know I’m the jealous one.
Who only want to be the one.

...***...*...***...*...***...*...***...

So would you laugh if I told you that…
I’m jealous of everything that's close to you.

...***...*...***...*...***...*...***...

Don’t laugh,
Just come here
And give me your hand.
Come here
And be my 'only' man.
I promise,
There'll be no more jealously.
If only,
I’d have you here with me.

...***...*...***...*...***...*...***...

Blossom

I for one, did not miss
Your shadow as it crossed between
The two horizons that
Would seem to me an
Apparition of the past, yet I knew
You not well my fellow prisoner of
All that would hold us close and
Yet keep us strangers apart
For fear of a future that dwells in the past
Can only have meaning for those
That would not choose to live for
Today
So you came to me, not readily, but
With a heavy heart that bore
The consequences of a life gone by
And once again you chose the path of
Lonely existence for history would
Forever be your reticence, so like
The lonely Wolf
You vanished as you appeared, and yet
I would sense the sadness of your soul
But I would always whisper adieu
For some things are not for the capturing
And must remain
Forever blossom on the wind

SAILS BY ANY TIDE

I CLUNG THERE, SHIPWRECKED OF HEART UPON THE ROCKS,
CERTAIN OF MY FAITH, THE DEEP AWAITING,
WHEN YOU CAME BY, TO RESCUE ME,
A SIREN SURELY I THOUGHT, A MERMAID OF THE DEEP.

BUT YOU WERE AS HUMAN AS I, SMILING DOWN,
AS I CLIMBED THE ROPE LADDER TO YOUR DECK,
WELCOME ABOARD, ''THE TRUE LOVE'' YOU LAUGHED,
SHE SAILS BY ANY TIDE.

AND OUR EYES SPARKED, AS WE TALKED THROUGH THE NIGHT,
SOON, BELOW DECK, WE WERE LOVERS,
THE OLD SHIP CREAKING, AND ROLLING,
AS WE LOVED, UPON THE TIDE,

I HAVE SEARCHED THE SEAS FOR YOU, YOU WHISPERED,
UPON MANY TIDES, FOUGHT THE WIND, AND CONTRARY SEAS,
AS YOU THREW YOUR COMPASS, TO THE DEEP, LAUGHING,
LET LOVE GUIDE OUR ROUTE, THE STARS ARE ENOUGH FOR US.

AND WE SET SAIL, ACROSS TRUE LOVES GENTLE SEA,
YET WE FEARED NO TEMPEST, TRUE LOVE, KNOWS NO FEAR,
LASHED TO THE WHEEL, WE MADE LOVE THROUGH THE NIGHT,
AS LIGHTNING FORKED AROUND OUR PASSION, DANCING BRIGHTLY.

ATOP THE CROWS NEST, I LAUGHED DOWN AT YOU, AT THE WHEEL,
OUR EYES SPARKING, WITH LOVE, AS WE PLOUGHED THE WAVE,
AND YOU LAUGHING BACK, AS I CRIED TO THE WIND, MAKE WAY,
FOR ''THE TRUE LOVE'' SAILS BY ANY TIDE.
