I Wear Your Smile..

I wear your smile
when my face
is a frown

I wear your smile
when my spirits
are down

I wear your smile
when my heart is
in pain

I wear your smile
til' I wear mine
again~

This poem is for a special lady!

The goddess of the stars!

As I gaze into the sky I begin to wonder..
I wonder which star in the sky is going to catch my eye..
There are thousands of tinny lights and such beautiful sights..
It is also a full moon and my star will be appearing soon..
Here it comes across the sky and my anticipation is very high..
Finally it is within my sight and it is truly becoming a wonderful night..
Suddenly there is a ray of light and now I have vision of a CS goddess within my sight..
the flawless look upon her face generates pure beauty and grace..
My heart beats fast as I stare into her eyes and I begin to become mesmerised..
She has a smile that could launch a thousand ships and I just long to kiss her cherry lips..
She holds my heart within her hands and utopia is where I hope it lands..
You are my goddess from the stars in skies and the love in my heart for you will never die....

To my goddess of beauty...

non- fiction

all is possible in the pages of a book
story in your eyes offered deep breaths of sweetest air
the obsequious efforts geared to make you look
cavorting extolation to convince you I care
taken in by my words of fancy
you beamed your lovely glance my way
but soon I felt my heart was bending
I then ran out of things to say
except I'm sorry I misled you
with my rotten caddish air
you've found your way inside my armor
now it seems my soul is bare
suddenly, it dawned upon me
I had reached that which I sought
my heart thawing, senses feeling
after all this time, some thought!
the sun came out, my eyes were opened
by some messenger above
my tears soon fell, for I was happy
at long last I found love....

About this poem:
I remarked to life about something being "obsequisious", then checked the meaning of the word and found that I had misstated it and mentally misspelled it. spurred this ditty.

A woman's Heart

Embedded image from another site

When a woman reveals her heart for all to see,
its not to be taken so ever lightly,
for she keeps her treasure very deep within,
Hidden, locked with a magical seal.

Embedded image from another site

May it be jewelleries or not be
May be something not fit for me
A woman's heart got thorns of barb wires
Filled with her full force desires!

There is no passwords to key,
No cheats nor special magical key,
If she reveals them so openly,
Than you better take it seriously!

Trust in the word!

theses fountains of water that i spill over and through the lands ,come from my destruction of my beauty and only mine ,do not be afraid or question why, because beon theses graves lies a heaven of the bluest sky ,the hope you seek is within my heart, witch i have all ready giving you do not listen to the proposition of formless lies ,in the end the only certainties that will remain is the truth an fact that your home is with me and my love is alive!!

THE VERY PROPER GANDER

Once upon time there lived a gander,
So strong and smooth, apt to singing much.
As he walked in yard, singing songs in raptures
A passer by saw him strutting thus
Remarking: “There’s proper gander!”

A hen overheard him and talked to her man
That night when the roost was preparing for bed.
She said: “They said something about propaganda,”
“I’ve always suspected,” was rooster’s reply,
“Let’s wait for the morning, I'll make him pay price.”

Next day he spread rumors around the world
Declaring the gander a dangerous bird,
More likely a hawk clad in gander’s clothes.
A small brown hen joined in chorus, recalled
Watching from distance him talking to hawks,

“They were up to no good, I am sure!” she said.
Then duck stepped in, reaching back in his head,
Remembered how gander was telling one day
That he was non-believer, “To hell with the flag!”-
He said. - Oh what devil in hide of a friend!

A guinea hen then recalled having watched
Someone like the gander throw something like bomb.
So all snatched their weapons, took up sticks and stones,
Descending with curses on innocent’s home,
Who peacefully strutted in yard singing songs.

“There he is!” – every fowl was heard,
“Hawk-lover! Atheist! Bomb-thrower! Take change!”
So they set upon him, drove out of estate.
And here’s a moral - please all ear lend:
If someone that you and your wife think is bad,
If toppling the government seems part of his plans,
For all your delusion must be driven from state.

About this poem:
Those who have fallen victims to slander, scandal, malignant gossip and backbiting can relate to the above. Humankind has devised all kinds of brutal punishment for those innocent of crime who happened to be political opponents and pose threat to the well-being of movers and shakers or just failed to please them. This is a poetic rendition of James Thurber’s parody entitled “The Very Proper Gander”.

I wish I could turn back Time

Today I was thinking
I wish I could turn back time
I'd go back twenty years
In an attempt to make you mine

I could see the two of us
Enjoying life and having fun
Go anywhere we like
Two people, living life as one

Laughing, sharing and caring
Loving all the time
Just care free and happy
Life and love would be yours and mine

Sharing space and time
But yet, be alone when we needed to
You would your thing
I would do what I had to do

But in the end it would come back
To you and I together
Doing well apart
But together we do it better

Words of love
Would fill your ears
My arms wrapped around you
Would ease all your fears

Today I was thinking
About turning back time
But today I also realized
There's no guarantee you'd be mine

Blue Sky, White Clouds

Embedded image from another site

Clear sky of blue and clouds of white
Bathed by sunshine above
Create such a beautiful sight
Instilling feelings of love

Lighting up the greenery below
Of the trees, grasses and plants
Giving them an enchanting glow
Setting the stage for romance

The ripples on the nearby lake
Stirred up by a gentle breeze
Invite the viewer to partake
With feelings of peace and ease

Such samples of Nature's nectar
Are free to each one of us
We are all a part of Nature
and Nature is part of us

The Hummingbird

Incredibly fast and yet so tiny
Dressed in feathers that refract the sunlight
Radiating such colourful beauty
Producing a true birdwatcher's delight

Suspending a living feathery mass
Wings beating at eighty times per second
Create a blur which for a short time lasts
Then in an instant later it is gone

Busily sipping each flower's nectar
As you rapidly flit from bloom to bloom
Viewing you in your glorious splendour
Chases away any feelings of gloom

A true master of acrobatic flight
Forward, backward and even upside down
What a marvellous captivating sight
Leaving the viewer speechless and spellbound

All bedecked in luminescent feathers
Blessed with a spectacular flying mode
Radiating such beautiful colours
That is the magic of the hummingbird

About this poem:
Trinidad, my native island, is sometimes referred to as the “Land of the Hummingbird” because more than sixteen different species of hummingbird have been recorded on the island.
The indigenous Native Americans, the Arawaks, named the island, "Iere", which, in their language, means "Land of the Hummingbird".
Two hummingbirds are shown on the island's coat of arms.
