An Angel On Earth - The Decision (Part 2)

As she pondered her time on Earth
She wondered why God set upon her this curse
To show her the suffering of the human race
She decided to go back to that filthy place
This time she would have some important things
Her brilliant white robe and feathered white wings
She would appear to the people in an aura of gold
The nature of the visit noone needs to be told
She will promise people only the truth
Her saint-like presence should be enough proof
And talk of being a child of The Lord
And that each and every person is adored
The angel would talk of her sacred home
Where angels stand together and are never alone
If they turn their back without even a glance
They are not lost, it's not their last chance
God does not hate, it is not his way
Do not worry, even if you have been led astray
Now, the time has finally come
So little time, so much to be done
She would start with His work one bit at a time
She would go to the people, she would give them a sign
The sign would be of harmony and love
Sent straight down from Heaven above
She had been put in a troublesome position
Optimistic as ever, the angel embarked on her mission

find a way to set us free...just be!

A part of me went missing, out to sea
when I lost you
A cross that I bare not alone just a shadow
of myself as I bathe in the pain of continous
mourning floating through
I never really understood the seldomly found purity
of what we had
Always we will share a love, a love for each other
and the life our love created and I know I should
be grateful and not sad
Suddenly it was as if something bigger than the two
of us just slammed the door
I didn't have control of anything anymore
What if it is all a game
and the good and the bad are judged as the same
Maybe just maybe I am all to blame
or could it just be that I've gone insaine
All the crazy things twisting inside my mind
answers and solutions that I can't seem to find
How do I get so tangled up all the time?
I know what I have to do
I have to find my place for you
almost as difficult as the day you died
gallons upon gallon of tears have been cried
a pool of tears which I am drowning in
yet missing someone is not a sin
with so many warm memories
'we' will always be
So I am learning to survive
smile and be happy be glad to be alive
My daughter needs me to be be the mommy she
deserves when she looks at me with her eye's
so blue and her daddys face a happy proud mommy looking
back at her is what I want her to see
together we dream of being with him again
being family of not two but three
We know we are dreaming and that is what dreams are for
In reality these girls are no longer drowning in sorrow
yet instead flying free
free from broken hearts and broken people and a past
that reminds
open to each new day to see what that day finds.~

jsm forever.

About this poem:
I think the poem explains it's self. I try to write about other topics yet my writing is my therapy it goes where it goes it's more in control than I. I am really proud of this piece it's very raw. It's been difficult for me to put to words what I feel and have it come out making any kind of sense, this piece I felt did that better than the last two. I am hoping I will go in a different place many diverse places next we'll see what my heart says. Thank you for reading it and giving my writing your time I hope it made you "feel" I enjoy a piece of poetry that makes me feel. Thank you and good day.

Get back on that horse

Getting dumped
Is that why it's called that?
Because it hurts
Knocks the wind from our lungs
Breaks our heart?

Because we know we have to
Get back on that horse
To try again
Take that risk
Humble ourselves and repair bruised
Egos

Try not to shy away from the possibilities
Of a good thing
A sweet thing
That sets our veins on fire
That make our hearts race and
Heads dizzy
A wild ride
A dangerous ride, bearing our bodies
And our souls to another

But to remain stunned on the earth
Looking up at that horse
To fear the next fall if it is not to
Fall for somebody...
Who falls for us
I won't
I am climbing back on

On Poetry

On Poetry

To find the words that remain unspoken
and bring together a chain of thoughts unbroken
I search the deepest parts of my mind
as I try to create a poem of a different kind!
But what is it in that corner I see?
Is it madness, or a reflection of me?

What makes u think...

What makes u think is love?
If one day you can't see
Her lovely face,
If one day u can't look in her eyes.
What makes u think is love?
If u can't touch her soft hair
Or hear her calm deep voice in u ear.
What makes u think is love?
If you heart beats bum-bum
When she is not near you.
What makes u think is love?
When u can't smell her sweet parfume
Or to kiss her soft and sweet lips .
What makes u think is love?
When u can't touch her soft silky hands
And to hear the steps of her long nice feet.

I saw myself

Rape me of my indiscretions

pillage from me my self-made lies

twirl me in sweet euthanasia

in a stupor to drink from your eyes

green and blue and tantalizing

freedom gazes so alone

that we wonder when and where or how

falling from the balcony

Jump, so I did and I almost drowned

So lost was I in these new perceptions

Alone my dream and mauve the light

that tickled me through the fern gully gaze.

Shattering your eyes, I finally saw

I saw myself and was amazed.

One day

Sometimes I see you in the clouds,
you are with blue eyes,
Sometimes I wake up in the nite
and feel you are somewhere there..

But what I really get is just
ordinary faces of people
who are indifferent or simply friends
and I don't know... I really don't
would I be able to touch you
one day...would I be able to love you?

I'm praying you are waiting for me.

LOVE CHANGES

LOVE CHANGES

Candles burn with infinite passion,
as cherries drop chocolate drips.
Rose petals spread romantically fashioned,
as I taste your strawberry lips.
A hint of magic makes love everlasting,
as far as your body’s concerned.
Collar bone kisses slow my reaction,
as we watch those candles burn.
Seems we’re becoming the latest attachment,
So I question our destiny.
“Is this really love?” is what I keep asking,
half of you is the rest of me.
Caught up in traffic, my heart keeps crashing,
my soul keep swerving the lane.
Bodily clashing while kissing and laughing,
grasping for love in the rain.
All that I’m asking in this moment of passion,
as we lay and blow out the flames.
Can I climb your spine while suspended in time,
make love and cherish the change.
