Tasting The Sun
Words now written will neither be seen nor understood
by any other eyes beside yours and mine
- four eyes of the one half-blinded Self.
And they, who must, will read, will wonder,
will wonder aloud, who were they, these two youths
who tasted awhile the hot nurturing gleam of the Sun
within their hidden tenderness of mouths, unsatisfied.

Touched by an Angel
We, unaccustomed to courage
exiles from delight
live coiled in shells of loneliness
until love leaves its high holy temple
and comes into our sight
to liberate us into life.
Love arrives
and in its train come ecstasies
old memories of pleasure
ancient histories of pain.
Yet if we are bold,
love strikes away the chains of fear
from our souls.
We are weaned from our timidity
In the flush of love's light
we dare be brave
And suddenly we see
that love costs all we are
and will ever be.
Yet it is only love
which sets us free.

I love Maya Angelou's poems. They are so eloquent and true to life.a happy little family (just us three) we miss you
Time moves swiftly while we are consumed with wanting the hours and minutes to pause giving us what we can't have the past to make right
I know I am like a broken record or a cd skipping ever so annoyingly but if I knew then what I know now I would change everything and never would I fight
I would laugh at every joke and make a better lunch
I would try not to argue and make sure the french fries had crunch
there is no question of what I would give
to have one day where you could again live
to hear your voice and see you smile
to get to hold you for awhile
I long to smell your skin
I want to see my friend
I wish this nightmare could end
Jesse I am trying
I am so tired of crying
Each day I pray
help me make it through the day
out of this misery comes light and grace
because I see my daughters face
she reminds me of what I need to be
and just what he means to me
I am tired of faking a smile
I think it's time to float for a while
see where the current takes us next
stop taking everything everything out of context
drift with the breeze
listen to the wind through the trees
find peace quietly deep inside
appreciate the ride
the moment I lost you something broke inside
I cannot count the tears I have cried
there is no recovering from heart break
I don't know how much more loss I can take
so I am holding on tight to what I have
the little girl with the big blue eye's
and now that little girl knows that
everyone dies
a sad thing for a innocent to realize
It is my duty to keep her well
and keep her out of my living hell
so we speak of silence
and spring and sweets
we speak of summer and little bo peep
we live in the moment and take charge of
our lives
after all what else is our choice
I guess it's live or let die

but I still can't sleep well at night

About this poem:
This poem is about the loss of my love, Jesse Ray. Jesse died August 30, 2007 he was 31 years old and had a massive heart attack out of nowhere. I spoke to him on his cellphone phone about a hour in a half before he died, he said he had been stung by a bee and had to get off work early be you never know when the last time you talk to someone that this is going to be the last time you hear their voice the conversation plays over and over in my mind and I constantly think what could I have done differently, I should have done something, why didn't I know? it's all my fault! I hate myself! Why? Why? Why? WHY?WHY?WHY?WHY?WHY?...We have a five year old daughter who was three at the time, it was awful!...Anyway this is therapy for me it has been almost two years and I am just now being able to write about it so I am this is my second piece so bare with me if this is familiar due to my last piece but I have to get it out there. Thanks for being my outlet I am forever thankful. And to those of you who too have lost a loved one my heart goes out to you, be strong and hold on to those good memories let go of the bad ones and remember that they are in a better place in no pain and able to feel all the love there is.something that just came to me and wanted to write
If you say Im the light in your eye then way do you pull down the blinds and shut me out. Then I'm the one you blame for all the days that you never felt the same. How can I be the one to save you from all your demans. Everytime I reach in, you cut me off to where I almost bleed to death and you wonder why there is nothing left of me to give. You take everything away and now you call that your gift when you use to call that being my untainted friend. Its clear to me that the love I have is something that can be torn down and watch it all fade away. Its finally clear to me Its finally something I see.

just put in seether this came to mind so I wrote it.Darkness
When darkness comes, and colors fade
young wishes gone, and demons made
seeing you is all I pray
to live with you just one more day
though people come to twist my fate
my hopes and dreams deteriorate
as the void comes to take my life
in your eyes i see anguish and strife
to end it all ill willingly stalk
to protect you from me, ill take my walk
remember the good times, not the bad
do not hate me, do not be mad
for a fate that be worse then death
your rejection would cut short my breath
life seems like a pointless fight
when all it brings is pain and plight
i shall close me eyes to the piercing light
and give myself to the welcoming night
my life for you id give on cue
for an eternity for dreaming of you
and for now i say goodbye
to return to my dark sky

into his eyes
she knew right and than
when she saw
the tear come out
of his eyes
she understood
that the dead man
was not crying
for himself
but he was crying for her
for he felt the pain
that was in her heart

the pieces of her heart
laying at her feet

soul was in

Candles burn with infinite passion,
as cherries drop chocolate drips.
Rose petals spread romantically fashioned,
as I taste your strawberry lips.
A hint of magic makes love everlasting,
as far as your body’s concerned.
Collar bone kisses slow my reaction,
as we watch those candles burn.
Seems we’re becoming the latest attachment,
So I question our destiny.
“Is this really love?” is what I keep asking,
half of you is the rest of me.
Caught up in traffic, my heart keeps crashing,
my soul keep swerving the lane.
Bodily clashing while kissing and laughing,
grasping for love in the rain.
All that I’m asking in this moment of passion,
as we lay and blow out the flames.
Can I climb your spine while suspended in time,
make love and cherish the change.

Time has come and go,and the day's become lonely
my heart longing for love that i dream and still
not find?my heart is ache because all my life i ask
the peace & love for my dream,but still hang on up there!
The love that my heart wanting is far behind the sky
there are time's that look up to the sky and have my breath
in deep just..as thinking of give up of all my dreams,,then
suddenly there is cold thing that touch my inner part of my
heart and i feel someone told me to keep going on..and
never give up.
When i almost give up ..true love come and i found that
God test me how i trust him,how i deal with those trial
in life before he let me see the light and love that
only for me,i thank you ..pain b-cos of you god give me the
most loving & kind person in the whole world,
Don't give up...instead..ask God for help and clean your
heart for everything you want to have in life,
I'm the living evidence of god work..i see the heart of
man who is true and kind..i love you lord for all the

It's Work of God..Poem
What happens to the well of love when it starts drying?
Can it be refilled with fresh water?
Or does it flow deep inside the earth unreachable?
The sunsets and sunrises loses beauty on the beholder's eyes
what a despair that cannot flow like the river's streams
and end up at the ocean's depths
I'm like a planted seed that was not able to germinate
but the rain will float me away to the sea
like a long journey and who knows picked up
again sometime, somewhere.
Love it's self is like a beautiful graciola
that blossoms to it's fullest and then fades away.

Never in my wildest dreams
Did I dream someone like you
Just when I'd all but given up
Suddenly out of the blue...
Your heart sang to mine
Ours souls entwined
And then it all became clear..
I could wander this world from east to west,
From shore to shining shore...
From one side of heaven to the other,
Never find another twould love me more.
I was an empty shell... a gypsy soul,
Alway searching,never knowing what for
But alas my soul has found it's mate
My heart is home, it wanders no more.
