My One True Love

You're always there for me,
When I feel that I'm alone,
With you I am always free,
I feel that I'm at home.
If only I didn't need to lie,
I have to keep us to myself,
Noone would try to understand why,
They'd say you're bad for my health.
You're everything I will ever need,
You're there whatever I do,
Amongst the flowers I am a weed,
Because, my love, I have chosen you.
With very few people I can share,
That you are my lifetime friend,
To stray from you, I'd never dare,
As long as you'll be here till the end.

Kalei dos cope

Kalei dos cope
Tres cope
Fours cope
On floors cope
Du jour’s cope
And more cope
And more cope
Or free… …

three cope
four cope
on floor cope
or more cope
yes more cope

broken hearted

i told you i would cause you stressi told you i would cause you pain
i even told you the reasons why i cry
out in the rain
i told you i loved you
and you knew it was true
so why did you take my heart
and rip it in two?

After The Ceasefire

After The Ceasefire

Can a true Christian stay the hand of justice
and condemn the need for vengeance?
When mistakenly in God’s name people die
and families call “An eye for an eye!”

While survivors fight off each assassin
and Christians preach faith within,
Could a preacher and a vengeful father
identify the evil and come together?

To fight the hidden men who follow the devil
that fed the third Reich leader’s evil!
A task which modern politics cannot convey
and no dimension of words can portray!

After the end of those evil men, though not all
after Westminster’s long cease fire call,
Scavengers slyly appear wearing virulent faces
the devils in Ireland’s “Master Races!”

Then when a law’s long armed sentence justly falls
and stills grief stricken families vengeful calls,
A government’s leaders backward roll and bow
for an untrustworthy double cease fire vow!

Today no true Celtic justice can ever be redeemed
in what London politicians smugly dreamed,
Blind to the horned animals hidden in lambs fleece
now leering murderers are given early release!

Has justice gone when an assassin walks the street
and there the victim’s suffering family meet,
Can that family’s hopes and heads remain high
as a condemned killer freely saunters by?

Yet again, from Omagh’s rubble of senseless death
comes new life, giving hope fresh breath!
Mankind holds Spring’s birth in annual reverence
so a child is born, with no religious preference!

An Unofficial Guide To Bonny Scotland

An Unofficial Guide To Bonny Scotland
(section A1-compulsory tolls)

When touring Scotland you must visit The Midgie Motel
where The Magic Midgie Queen your future will foretell.
There will be no charge for this service she will give
but in her royal wisdom she says "Midgies have to live!"
So on entering The Midgie Queendom there is a little fee
it's only a pint of blood from you, and a now anaemic me!

Greed

Greed

Just outside, cool grass under my feet
The smell of orchids pungent, but sweet
The stars above look so bright
Look like beacons in the night
A glass of wine, a simple stroll
These are what soothe my troubled soul
Keeps me safe from stress of life
Allows me to sleep well at night
Not all can see the simple path
They make a choice, leave before the aftermath
Who cares about what happens tomorrow
As long as today, there is no sorrow
Rape the land need to feed
Life driven by simple greed
Don’t care what will happen to the most
As long the accolades for me they toast
These are the things that most will treasure
Material possessions not simple pleasure
How shallow are the well conceived
Mix with ones driven by greed
Worship their god who preaches about wealth
Then practice their trade with lies and stealth
Take down the innocent, take down the old
Got no morals, but look at my gold

a ring

as I don't wear jewelry, not even a watch, nothing, nada; the eyed prospect of the adornation of a simple, cheap, thin, golden band, worn about a certain finger of my left hand, elates my spirit, strengthens my soul, allows me to bow down, weep my too long hidden tears, in grateful recognition of the ultimate joy that will follow me until, I too, become as dust. I am so happy. and you know what? with not one shread of guilt am I plagued. only a faint hum fills my eardrums. the resound of contentment, peace, warm comfort. I am now floating above any questions of trust, belief, proof. they don't apply. I travel on that boulevard of promised dreams. it has become a smooth journey now. I shan't deter from my ultimate destination. And, I won't be alone.

All that gleams

All that gleams

As the sun sets on the old man’s face
He reflects of a different time and place
Of mates long gone, forgotten they’re not
Some died of misfortune some of them shot
When men were plenty and woman were none
Saturday night to the pub for fun
Of tin and canvas, an old camp bed
Rolled down swag to rest his head
Fire and billy to make the brew
His life time savings hidden in a shoe
Chase the rock in the light that gleams
Answer to his life long dreams
The day was hard, the day was hot
Some made a fortune, most did not
He was lucky with the clame he pegged
Worked it hard, his future it shed
Grandad, grandad brings him back
From that time of the old tin shack
Kid yells out what’s for tea
Come over and sit on my knee
Tell me son, what did you do today
Please grandad, I just want to play
Sun has sunk into the sea
Spot on son, time for tea!
