Love is in the air
and it seems you don't even care.
Your name flies by me
and then i see
That time has passed by
and u are not there with me.
I loved u and
love is in the air.

i remember the first time that we met
it was on this site on the internet
i wanted to chat and make a friend
so a beautiful flower card i did send

i had but all a sincere intention
i sensed there was a real connection
even though we are miles an miles apart
i knew a true friendship here would start

the friendship has grown for one another
a real friend to know like no other
with you i know that i can share
you are a true friend that does care

you lend an ear to hear my troubles
they all seem to float away just like bubbles
when i am sad and feel real crappy
you lift my spirits and make me happy

you bring such joy and put a smile on my face
for you are special one i could never replace
i want you to know i will be there for you
a friend for life that will always be true

this love of ours i want to tell
i want the world to know and dwell
the first time my heart let you in
i felt a real love blossom within

i dreamt the most magical vision of us
to be forever would be such a plus
i have loved before and paid the price
felt the pain which wasnt at all nice

the things you say and do are tremendous
they show me that your love is endless
i know my true love i have found
she is an angel she walks this ground

a beauty that is loving and so rare
i praise her with my love and care
i could seek and not find in my life through
that in this world there is only one you

Fear Of A Child

The rain taps the window as the wind blows
and the fear of the child goes on and grows.
So glad that he's here safe in his bed
yet his eyes are wide and full of dread,
at those unseen monsters out in the night
oh why did his mother put out the light?
He shivers a little he's losing control
his eyes are watching, they're on patrol.
What's that at the window, is it a face
is someone trying to get into our place?
Blind panic makes him throw off the cover
and run with tears and sobs to his mother
who had heard him cry and come to see
"Don't be silly" she said "It's only me!"

The Awakening

Suddenly a baby cries in my vigilant ear
yet I, in cosiness, pretend I cannot hear.
Saying to myself "It's not my turn yet!"
Not thinking that She is bound to forget
or like me is pretending to be asleep still,
knowing that soon I will have had my fill.
First to snap and rise in a rage growling
I confront the child in the cot, cowering.
But at sight of this bundle, eyes so wide
I feel a parent's shame deep down inside.
Gently as I lift and hold our infant I feel
my blood slowly awakening, I then reveal
a love from my heart that is rarely shown
and a pride in myself I have never known.
The clearing of a throat in the nearby bed
causes natural curiosity to turn my head.
I see a face in a hand leaning on an elbow
with two moist eyes in a look I well know.
She pats the sheet to where I should lie,
we snuggle up, all three, lest a baby cry!

Sonofadam

We lost a friend with a heart of gold.
Who was more precious to us than
wealth,riches or gold..
Without a farewell you fell asleep,
With only memories of us to keep.
We have lost, but god had gained,
one of the best friends this world contained.
We didn't want to give you up it was the hardest part of all
but we knew at the time it was God's call.
You did so many things for us,
Your heart was kind and true
And when we needed someone We knew we could always call on you.
We will go on and it will be hard,
Because we are at peace now Because your with God.
Love will "forever" be in our hearts for you.

always has a ear listens without judgement that's why she's so dear i love my baby we don't have to speak at the rite hour or any day of the week are connection is love my angel from up above so i wrote this poem to show her all my love she has a beautiful laugh and a pretty smile a sweet personality that makes me forget about the miles god was kind to show me my angel from ohio when i think of her time stands still dreamers again but this time for real dreams come true for those who believe that's why me and my baby were always meant to be

Tomorrow smile at someone
That you've never seen before
Take time to think of others that
You feel compassion for.

Tomorrow tell somebody
How they brighten up your day.
Let random acts of kindness
Put your feelings on dispaly.

Tomorrow hug your children
Somewhat thighter than before
Be sure to think of all the things
You can be thankful for.

Pet your dog a little longer
Hug and kiss your husband/wife
Thank your God for giving you
Another day of life.

I had a dream I awoke on an island, with noone there but you and I. We had wings like angels and could soar like eagles in the sky. we could have left any day we wanted and fly to just about anywhere; but for some reason we did'nt leave. I guess we were both happy there. One day your wing had broken and you were sad because you could'nt fly. For years I felt your sadness and wiped away the tears you cried. You thought one day I would leave you forever; but I never did, because being alone on that island with you; made me the happiest man that ever lived.
