Autumnal Mornings

Darkness reigns
As the crispiness of breath
The chill in the air, increasing
As it collides with the tears
That fall descending from grace

In the midnight hour,
A glimmer of a flame flickers
Searching for warmth
Amid this wretched feeling

With depression leaning towards grief
A parting of ways happens at dawn
Annhiliating my negative neglect and belief
As daylight, the autumn morning begins to yawn
As sunrise and hope for life is reborn

This Thing We Call Life

This thing we call life
A race to the finish
I don’t want to be first
I don’t want to diminish
This thing we call life
Staring you in the face
An image of yourself
Captured in place
This thing we call life
Every breath of fresh air
Every moment we pause
Reflect on what's there
This thing we call life
Every moment we share
A moment for a smile
Show how much we care
This thing we call life
What really comes next
A warm summer breeze
Or storm that’s complex
This thing we call life
Is up for discussion
I hold the door open
For the world to rush in

About this poem:
Sometimes poetry can become such an invitation for reflection such as this abstract form of poetry answering a question or perhaps asking a few more?

Your Last Day on Earth

If this was your last day to live on this Earth...
Just what would you do? Dwell on your self-worth?...
Or would you curse God while expecting the worst?...
Perhaps you would live like you've wanted since birth...

We entered this world innocent, yet were pure...
I'm sure the allures have secured and ensured...
Such cures for the pains you've endured went unheard...
Or so it seems....incurred dreams seem so blurred...

I'm saddened distractions caused such bad reactions...
If you only knew the true love and compassion...
He drew you, then grew you, He knew what you'd do...
I've known this for some time.....it's time you do too.....

Mighty Soup

To cook or not to cook -
That is the question
Whether ‘tis nobler
To toss fresh veggies in the pot
And simmer, boil or fry
Until they wilt and gradually die
Or to take arms
Against the savage slaughter
And serve them raw
And suffer indigestion

For who would bear
All that butchered food
The candy, cakes and crepes,
The rubber of cooked meat
On top of mashed potatoes
When he himself could dream
Of something raw…

To sleep - perchance to crave:
Ay, there's the rub,
For in that sleep
What recipe may come
Of how to pack raw veggies
In a blender
And by the blend
To make a mighty soup
Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished
And left for thou to try..

To make it creamy
Peel half avocado,
Do not forget
To throw away the pit
For sweetness, clean
And add sliced carrots,
Size matters,
So pick two or even three
For color green,
Throw in sunflower sprouts
A handful, maybe two will do
Thy never heard of those?
Not to worry, sub for any other
Green thou like to chew
For tint of sour,
Peel and slice a lemon
For flavor,
Get to add seaweed –
Wakame, dulse,
Kelp or any other –
For they may taste
Much the same to thee..
To spice things up,
Toss in an inch of ginger,
When bold, thou double it to two
Not to forget
A tablespoon of miso
To sub for salt
And try out something new
Then herbs -
A handful of cilantro,
Dill, parsley, thyme or basil -
Just to name a few..
The last but not the least -
Throw in one sliced onion
And two-three cloves of garlic
For a pungent oomph
Transfer all thou have prepared
To a blender,
Add water halfway to the rim.
DO NOT FORGET
To fit the jar with cover
And mighty soup
Is ready for a spin
To the desired smoothness
Of thy dreams...

But that the dread
Of something after meal,
The undiscovered country
Of raw food
From whose bourn
No traveler returns
(Since been kept captive on a john)
Puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear
Those foods we have
Than try out others
tThat we know not of?

Departed

Gone as the colors faded
The cold clouds departed
Cast in shadows is the darkness
Where no mind rests as much as death

Where have all the rainbows gone
When morning weeps like tears
As black as blue becomes
So becomes life without you
As gray as day becomes night
I’m begging you to come home

Man Without A Face

Standing watching
No name you should know
Hiding
"Its The End Of The World!"
You've said

Scare
Of the wind that blow
From east to the west
"It destoying everything. The Wave is so high. I cant handle it"

Man without a face
Try to runaway but
The ghost keep hunting him everywhere

Till his last breath
bloom into raflesia

He die
soon after that.

About this poem:
this inspire from man without picture profile that angry because i want to know the truth why he hiding his face so i give him a question. But he is answer me that its me that have problems.

As an infj ( i've got 3 times test, it still have the same result), i see that what he saying is reflection of his own self, which is like to blame people without knowing the reason behind my question.

The point is dont get mad easily, the more you showing anger to an infj, you will be more easy for us to know that you are hiding something. The more you are afraid of saying the truth, the more i try to analyze your soul deeply.

Hello there. Please do show your face. Thank you. Hahaha...

Follow Me

Follow me, sage father
Tempered with the ages
Embodied in a ghost
Never seen
Where lies my hope
Deaf as a post
To all my suffering

Follow me, exalted past
On fields of glory
All honor makes
Never forgetting
The stories told
From turning pages
In recesses of my mind

Follow me, heart pure
Filtered by the ashes
Of all my failures
Cleansed by fire
Escaping no one
Resurrections made
And wounds healed

Follow me, wizened lady
Reading tea leaves
Arranged by nature
At the bottom
Of my cup of fears
Forecast my future
With all its tears

Follow me, natural soul
Who lifts me higher
On tides of hope
Beyond the safety
Of those would hang
Me on a rope
With no remorse

Follow me, immortal mother
Whose love I knew
Born of pleasure
Her seed good measure
From which I grew
Into her treasure
Behold in her eye

Love Is Like Finding A Lost Coin

Rejoice being loved and adored
Be gentle with each other
Seek and you shall find answers
Slow down from the busy race
Distractions coming everywhere
Find some shelter and rest
Listen when you are calm and quiet
Only you can create lasting peace
Not by some half-baked plans
True wisdom accepts tranquility
Nobody is more deserving than you
Time may be either lost or found
Like love either hidden or exposed
Being lost in time is natures gift
Being lost in love is being found
Make what cannot be seen felt
Make what cannot be understood
Known to others who cannot feel
Love is like finding a lost coin

A little bird

Caged in the house
Like a lonely princess
In the grim castle
I strain my ears to hear
“Knock, knock!”
Is he there yet?

Spring is going wild outside
Buzzing and blooming
A little bird
Keeps coming back
To knock on my window
And chirp

I do not know his language
But it sounds like
“Get out, stupid!”

Something besides looks

Something besides looks
Irresistible style maybe -
The grace of self-awareness
The frames of eyelashes
Around drowning eyes
The delicate
Fragrance of fluffy hair..
Ambiguity of unspoken words
Brings music
To the quiet of the room
Sends shivers through space
Flashes back
Forgotten memories
Of how it first happened before
And pulls you
Into the spiderweb of affection
To get lost and not care
About ever getting out
