One of the overall problems is that The Geneva Convention is not followed by many of these cruel countries. They don't care......they do what they want. It's great to have ideals, but they're not followed by the very ones who should be doing so. jmo
Well, you started my day with a laugh...really, I have many friends who are gay, both male and female. Guess I shouldn't joke like that, but you know, many gay people can laugh it off.....but, to be fair, I guess one shouldn't joke like that in these times.
They clean house here and there. At times it doesn't seem to make sense; some really really nasty threads stay, and some very benign ones are tossed. Not worth losing sleep over, but it IS rather confusing.
Just some wanderings--not every "like" is going to be followed by a note or letter. Not every "nice to meet you" comes with a free drink. People respond the way they want to. It used to really annoy me when someone wouldn't at least answer a note, etc...but after re-thinking, etc...well, it's just people, and you know, to be fair, I might seem nice, gentlemanly, but I'm not always going to accommodate just because the other person feels it should be so......live and let live...
It really can be a tough one--something for thought: Not to sound overly religious, etc...it's a good idea to remember that no one is perfect; we all have that proverbial "beam" in our eye when we find fault with another's "mote". Just saying....
1. I come across as "short", or "curt", even though it isn't on purpose. (unless it is...) 2. Sometimes I chat on too much.....I'm working on that.... 3. I need to shed a few pounds, this is my New Year's Resolution #1.
When someone does something really nice, and it cost them something (money, time, work...) and it is unexpected, and they don't want any notoriety about it. THAT'S inspiring.....
LOVE, LOVE SUBWAY--Here in Oregon you sort of get to tell the sandwich "artist" how you want it, so it goes a little better than just ordering off menu......We have a small shop here that is independent of Subway, but sort of follows the basic format. They are GREAT!!
you don't know what POS means?? You don't know what bull means? Seriously dude--methinks you are a bit fey===(look it up) in a dictionary. (It's a big book with lots of words in it. You can find it in a library. That's a public building with books in it. You may borrow them. And even take them home! Yes!
Don't eat out (prepared in pubs, etc...) very much anymore. (Tend to get a tad sick from it Too many additives, chemicals, oils, etc...) When I was a "foodie" my go-to's were soft flour tacos, omelets, Pattie-Melts, fries, etc....)
This is not meant to be discourteous, and I am aware that script communicating is not the same as "in-person", but it escapes me that you didn't understand....again, it is "not real" because it is fake---one profile is authentic, the other 5-6-7 are pretend, or fake. So, not to be given any regards. Diamonds are real. Cubic Zirconium is fake. Leather is real. Plastic is fake. and so on....
It isn't real because the person "thumbing down" 5-6-7 times is posing as 5-6-7 individuals--so it's fake. Get it now? Relax--those POS that do those things get crap from the world, so it's a "win" for us.
Oh come on.....your thread is very interesting, and it seems to me that the participants have been friendly enough. The nature of your initial inquiry asks for points of view. And, it IS great subject matter. Don't throw in the towel!
I read it as the person saying he was fair/honest, in speaking of "his objectivity". It's really the same principle--when one has to assert his or her own reflective, it's a bit of an over-statement. (If one is truly objective, he need not advertise it...)
